Alright, taking too big a step can cause problems.
Because the power level was suddenly raised too high, when writing theĀ New YorkĀ War arc, some readers gave feedback that the plot was repetitive, just fighting, which was a bit boring.
Then, I thought, should I write some more interesting plots? And that's how the idea for this arc, 'SlimeĀ Marvel Universe,' came about.
TheĀ WorldĀ view of this arc, simply put, is that after the protagonist devours theĀ Mind Stone, he constructs an illusion inĀ Rimuru's mind.
In this illusion, all humans areĀ Slimes, but they are a bit different fromĀ Slimes in the traditional sense.
TheĀ Slimes here are what the protagonist used to trickĀ Nick Fury; they areĀ Earthlings who have evolved... somewhat similar to the Mind Trials in fantasy and Xianxia novels.
I truly hoped to bring everyone a fresh experience, aiming for a 'bright new story' or 'the author's creativity is amazing' kind of feeling.
But unfortunately, most of the readers who commented said I was just adding filler... *cries*!
Some readers also gave feedback that they didn't understand, which left me utterly confused.
Is the illusion difficult to read?
I will speed up the pace of this section, but since I've already started this arc, I will definitely write this story to its completion.
