Li Donghai screamed, “No, you don’t have the right to fire me!”

He knew himself better than anyone else. He had been wasting all his college time on eating, drinking, gambling, and going whoring. He had been punished by the school many times, and was already lucky enough to have not dropped out. The history had been clearly recorded in his personal files.

That was the reason he failed to find a job after graduation. It had cost him a lot to get into Lin’s Group. The group provided meals and he barely worked all day. That was why he didn’t want to leave at all.

Lin Momo said it coldly, “Give me one reason not to fire you.”

“We are family. You’re Haodong’s girlfriend, and I am his brother. You can’t fire me.”

After he said that, he squeezed a flattering smile to Qin Haodong, with his face full of bloody scratches from Guo Xiaomei. That made him looked quite funny,

“Haodong, it’s me, your brother. You grew up in our family. Now you have the president as your girlfriend, you have to help your brother to get away from this.”

“You’re my brother?” Qin Haodong sneered and said, “If I don’t remember it wrong, this is the first time in so many years that you call yourself my brother. You’ve been calling me a b*stard ever since we met. You beat me, swore me, took my things away from me. Now you’re calling yourself my brother?”

Li Donghai said with embarrassment, “I was too young to understand that. You can be my real brother as long as you can speak for me today.”

Qin Haodong knew clearly about the guy’s temper. If he got the chance to go on staying in the group, nobody knew what hole he would blow in Qin Haodong’s name.

He said, “Save that crap, Li Donghai. Just leave before you still have a choice. Don’t get yourself in trouble.”

“Haodong, I was wrong before. Please help me, for our grandparents’ sake!”

“I didn’t drive you out of the company immediately because of them. Now you ruined yourself again, who’s to blame for that?”

Seeing Qin Haodong not biting his lure, Li Donghai fell out and yelled, “Qin Haodong, you ungrateful b*stard. My family raised you, remember?”

Seeing the guy revealing his true self, Qin Haodong said coldly, “No matter who raised me up, it had nothing to do with you. Now get out of here!”

He waved his hand. Two bodyguards came and carried Li Donghai out.

Seeing Li Donghai being dealt with, Guo Xiaomei begged Lin Momo and said, “Please give me another chance, president. I know I am wrong and I won’t do it again.”

Lin Momo said, “Guo Xiaomei, I know what you’ve been doing to the group. Why would I give a chance to a woman like you?”

Guo Xiaomei went speechless. Her eyes kept staring outside of the door because she had called Zhao Zhongchen before she got here. She wondered why the old man was so slow, and why he hadn’t arrived yet.

Fortunately, when the door was opened, and Zhao Zhongchen entered in haste.

Guo Xiaomei ran to Zhao Zhongchen like she had seen a family. She grabbed his arms and inclined her chest on it, and said with a sweet voice, “Help me out. The president is firing me.”

“Don’t worry. I’ll talk to the president,” Zhao Zhongchen said as he stepped to Lin Momo. He asked, “President, what’s going on? Xiaomei’s doing a great job here, why are you firing her?”

“I’ll get this straight to you, Zhao. You’re a giant cuckold now.”

Qin Haodong grabbed Zhao Zhongchen’s shoulder and briefly told him what was between Guo Xiaomei and Li Donghai.

Zhao Zhongchen was furious after he heard that, although Guo Xiaomei was no more than his mistress, not his wife. He could never allow her to keep another man.

“See what you’ve done? B*tch? How dare you come to me for help? Now get out of the group. I don’t want to see you ever again!”

After Zhao Zhongchen said that, he turned back and left in anger.

Qin Haodong shook his head. It was said that those with big breasts were often stupid, and now that turned to be true. Even Guo Xiaomei’s breasts were fake ones.

Lin Momo said to Qin Haodong, “Is that necessary? Just kick her out of here.”

Qin Haodong said, “I can handle this. We should solve the problems all at once, in case she will come back to us with those ruffians.”

Soon, the crowd outside of the department of marketing went restless. A bunch of ruffians in colorful clothes rushed in, with iron pipes and knives in their hands. They looked quite fierce.

The department of marketing was open to the public. So they rushed directly in without many blocks. The leading one was a man with a giant wolf head tattoo on his chest. He was Qin Haodong’s acquaintance, Wolf.

Wolf had been upset since he came back yesterday. He was going to help his sixth brother and made some extra money, but instead, he lost 1 million there.

Guo Xiaomei’s call really lifted him up. He thought he could blackmail and earn a big fortune today to make up for what he lost yesterday. So he couldn’t wait to rush in with his fellows. He thought the security guards of Lin’s Group were still how they used to be, so he ignored them.

After he entered the gate, he waved the iron pipe in his hand and smashed a few glasses. Then he yelled, arrogantly, “How dare you bully my cousin? Now come out and face me!”

“There you are, cousin. You have to back me up!”

Guo Xiaomei jumped into Wolf’s arms and lean on his chest. She looked so wronged.

“No worries, Mei. No one gets to bully you as long as I’m with you.” Wolf patted Guo Xiaomei’s shoulder and said, “Who’s bullying you? Tell me now and I’ll snap his legs.”

“It’s him, that gigolo boy!” Guo Xiaomei said as she pointed to Qin Haodong.

There were many people gathering in the department, so Wolf didn’t notice Qin Haodong was there, but when he did, he almost fell down on his knees.

He was crying bitterness to himself inside. It was so unlucky for him to run into the awful guy again, after the one million he had just lost to him yesterday.

Seeing Wolf freezing, Guo Xiaomei yelled, “Cousin, that’s the man bullying me. Now snap his leg for me!”

“How about I knock off your head, b*tch?” Wolf jumped and kicked on Guo Xiaomei’s belly, and knocked her down on the ground.

Guo Xiaomei didn’t figure out what was going on. She lay on the ground and yelled, “You kicked the wrong person, cousin! Why are you hitting me?”

“You’re exactly who I’m kicking. You idiot!”

Wolf kicked Guo Xiaomei a few more times, and walked to Qin Haodong with a smiling face. He said respectfully, “Sorry to have troubled you again, Doctor Qin.”

Wolf! Looks like we’re destined to meet! We’ve met again so soon!” Qin Haodong patted on Wolf’s shoulder and said with an intriguing smile, “You have so many cousins. Do you do this for a living?”

Wolf said with embarrassment, “Doctor Qin. The stupid woman just offended you. I’ll teach her a lesson when we’re back. I’m sure she won’t trouble you again.”

Qin Haodong said, “Now that we’re acquaintances. Things are getting easier.”

“You’re right. We’re acquaintances. I’ll bring her back if you’ll excuse me.”

Wolf said as he was going to take away Guo Xiaomei. He wished he could leave as fast as he could. Qin Haodong was the last person he wanted to see in the world.

“Wait a minute.” Qin Haodong stopped him before he walked away.

“Doctor Qin, what else can I do you for?” Wolf asked with a flattered face.

“I said it would be easier since we knew each other. We don’t have to fight or kill, but I didn’t say we don’t need to do anything about it.”

Wolf said, “Doctor Qin, what do you want? A word from you and I’ll snap the woman’s legs to vent your anger.”

Guo Xiaomei shivered. She knew Wolf could be quite fierce, and he would do as he said. It had never occurred to her that her helper turned to her enemy’s hatchet man.

“We are not barbarians. There’s no need to fight or kill for a woman. Let the bygones be bygones. I’ll let it pass.”

“Doctor Qin was such a magnanimous man,” Wolf said and tried to flatter Qin Haodong.

“Her things are over, but you’ve smashed plenty of things while you just barged in. You’ll pay for them, right?”

Wolf’s heart lost a beat. He was just being worried about this. He would definitely lose some money to Qin Haodong today, and all he could do is to pray it could be less than yesterday.

He knew he was going to lose a great sum today, so he asked helplessly, “Just tell me how much are they.”

“Not much. Let’s follow the standard yesterday and make it 1 million.”

“One, one million?” Wolf felt bitter. Those glasses would never be worthy one million even if they were made of gold.

He said with a bitter face, “Doctor Qin, we are acquaintances now. It’s just a couple of glasses, how about I change them into crystal ones for you?”
