The second person who appeared was a man. Their body was normal and wasnât made with inanimate objects. But their bodies were tattooed with numbers, and the numbers were always changing.
Loki didnât know who the second person was, so he didnât know if they came to fight him. Either way, he prepared himself to fight two people.
As he examined them, he said to himself, âA public battle is bad as it would expose my capabilities. But it shouldnât reach that point because if they fight me, they will surely be weakened themselves, and they will be weakening themselves in front of everyone.â
âI donât doubt that they have an enemy who would be willing to take advantage of their weakness, so they shouldnât fight me in front of everyone. But if I have to fight, I should target the mortals below first. When I eat the mortals, I will gain more lifespan that I can use to fight.â
While he was speaking, Monarch Lifeâs Worth snorted and said, "You know who I am, and you know what I want. Now, will you give me what I want, or do you want me to fight for it?"
Before he could reply, the other man said, "I am Forced Exchange. I am a member of the Thorn House of Commerce. I am here on behalf of the Thorn House of Commerce to have a deal with you."
"But first of all, I want to congratulate you on your ascension. We are all impressed that a rank 5 cultivator with the Gold Body Life Ability has survived despite the constant hunting of Gold Body."
"Not only did you survive, but you even managed to replace Gold Body. This is worthy of admiration."
When Loki heard this, he raised an eyebrow and said, "Youâre not here to fight? I thought you would be the most angry about the loss of Gold Body."
Forced Exchange chuckled and said, "Gold Body had already been replaced. What we should do now is try to make up for his loss. No matter what we do, it wonât change the fact that he is dead. You are a money cultivator, so you should know that we donât do wasteful things."
"This is why I am here to make a deal with you. This deal will give us an opportunity to make up for our loss."
Loki nodded in understanding before saying, "What if I refuse to make a deal with you?"
Forced Exchange smiled as he said, "In that case, we will have to swallow our loss and wait for Gold Body to reincarnate. When he reincarnates, we will help him replace you."
Loki didnât mention the fact that Gold Body was not going to reincarnate. Instead, he asked a question, saying, "So what is this deal of yours?"
Forced Exchange said in reply, "We donât want much. All we ask is that you surrender your Cave Heaven and attach it to the Cave Heaven of our leader. Once you surrender your Cave Heaven, the entire Thorn House of Commerce will protect you."
"Even if Gold Body reincarnates and returns, we will side with you in your struggle for the Divine Position. And right now, we will help you fend off Lifeâs Worth."
Monarch Lifeâs Worth was not happy to hear this. She scowled and glared at Forced Exchange as if she would attack him if he said another word.
But Forced Exchange ignored her. He smiled at Loki harmlessly and said, "So what do you think about my deal?"
He pretended to think about it for a while before he said, "What if I tell you that Gold Body canât reincarnate? What kind of deal do I get then?"
This time, both Forced Exchange and Lifeâs Worth were taken aback. The two of them immediately used their Insight to check the validity of the information.
Since they couldnât check the information through Loki, they checked through Gold Body. They wanted to see if Gold Bodyâs Cave Heaven was in the second dimension, where the remnant of the dead go after death.
As they searched for the whereabouts of Gold Bodyâs Cave Heaven, they both hoped that Loki was just making stuff up. Even Monarch Lifeâs Worth was hoping that Gold Body hadnât been foolish enough to fight with his Cave Heaven.
She gritted her teeth as he said inwardly to herself, âHis Cave Heaven should be too weak to fight with. As long as he didnât show off his Cave Heaven, he should be able to return.â
She wanted the previous Gold Body to be alive so that when the old and new Good Body fight, they can weaken each other, and she can take advantage of their conflict to easily bring them down.
But when the result came in, she cursed out loud, saying, "Dan Gold Body. He couldnât even do something as simple as preserving his life. What kind of useless divine being is he?"
Even though Gold Body was gone, never to return, Forced Exchange still defended him by saying, "He wouldnât have turned out like this if not for you. You are to blame for all of these."
Then he turned to Loki, wondering how Loki had pulled this off. Of course, he didnât think that Loki was the one who killed Gold Body. There is no way that he will believe that a rank 5 cultivator managed to defeat and kill a divine being, even if that divine being has been beaten to a very low point.
At best, he can accept that Loki defeated Gold Body. But he can never accept that Loki was able to stop Gold Body from escaping, kill him, and destroy his Cave Heaven while still being a mortal.
Gold Body should have been able to escape into another dimension if he couldnât defeat Loki. No mortal would have been able to stop Gold Body from escaping. So he is sure that another divine being helped Loki by stopping Gold Body from escaping.
