As it happened, he wasnât the only one who thought that Nether Flameâs opinion would be the determining factor affecting the chances of this pan going through. He caught Ant Hill also looking at Nether Flame, waiting for him to raise an objection or two.
When Nether Flame finally spoke, he said, "I have no questions. It will cost me a lot of my lifespan. But Iâm sure I can handle it."
Money Body was happy to hear this. He wanted to clap Nether Flame on his back, but he remembered that Nether Flame was a death cultivator and a zombie.
Besides all of that, he also remembered that he wasnât especially familiar with Nether Flame, so his actions could be misconstrued as an attack.
So he kept his hands to himself and said, "It is a pity that you are not a money cultivator. You are so talented that I would have done anything to make you join my alliance."
Nether Flame bowed slightly as he said, "Thank you for the high praise."
Money Body shook his head, saying it was a pity that Nether Flame wasnât a death cultivator before turning to the rest of the group and saying, "Since there are no questions and everyone understands the plan, letâs put the plan into motion. Letâs do it quickly, too, before the dragons start thinking that weâre afraid of them."
Loki didnât do anything more. Since Nether Flame, who was going to do the majority of the work, didnât complain, he couldnât complain about doing the barest minimum.
Ant Hill also didnât complain even though she appeared hesitant. It was clear to Loki that there was something she was worried about, but she didnât complain about it.
She left wordlessly with Loki in the direction that Money Body pointed out. Nether Flame also left the island. So only Money Body remained behind protecting the outpost core.
On their way to meet the dragon, Ant Hill was silent. Her demeanor was that of someone who was being sent to their death. This amused Loki.
He chuckled and said, "Who is the one who lacks courage now?"
In response, she snarled at him as she said, "What do you know? Youâre just an ignorant fool thatâs meant to be sacrificed."
So Loki raised his hands in mock surrender and said, "Fine, fine. I am just a lowly slave while youâre made for greatness."
She still didnât appreciate this and snapped at him even more as she said, "Shut up."
Her behavior was aggressive, and it looked like she was going to beat him up if he didnât shut up. But this behavior of hers only made Loki laugh as he asked, "Whatâs the matter anyway? Werenât you confident that you could kill a dragon on your own earlier? Now we are going to fight two on one, but you donât seem so eager anymore."
"What happened to your bravado? Was it all false bravado?"
She didnât answer his question. Instead, she said, "You wouldnât understand. Youâre too stupid to understand."
When Loki heard what she said, he scoffed and said, "What a silly excuse. It is more like youâre too scared and youâre too embarrassed to admit it."
Maybe what he said got to her. It was also possible that what he said washed over her without an impact. Either way, he couldnât know because she became silent and ignored him.
He also became silent and chose to ignore her. So the two of them traveled in silence.
According to Money Body, they should have reached the dragon in at most 5 seconds if they travel at a speed of 10,000 kilometers per second. But they are not moving at that speed. They are moving at half that speed, so they should be able to find the dragon after ten seconds of flight.
But ten seconds have gone by, yet they canât find the dragon. This shouldnât be the case since the dragon is also approaching them, so the distance between them should have narrowed, and they should have met up with the dragon earlier.
This made Loki say to Ant Hill, "Do you think the dragon saw us coming and ran away? It is possible. After all, this is their homeworld."
He canât see the dragon, and it could be because the dragon hasnât entered his perception range. But that doesnât mean that the dragon couldnât have seen them coming.
This is because the dragon has the will of Oceania on their side, and the will of the world can tell the dragon what they are up to. So even if the dragon has a smaller perception range than him, the dragon can still know what he is up to.
Unfortunately for him, his partner is no good. She heard his question, but she ignored him.
He decided not to bother with her and went directly to Money. He sent a message to the money cultivator, saying, "What is going on now? We havenât found the dragon. Has the dragon run away?"
Money Body replied immediately, saying, "Donât worry. The dragon took a detour. Youâre about to meet now."
Loki didnât expect to hear this, so his voice was full of surprise as he said, "Really? Didnât the will of the world tell it that it is about to be ambushed?"
Money Body said, "The will of the world probably did. But dragons are too proud. It probably believes that it can kill you both."
Loki could only shake his head and say, "It is not wrong, though. But we wonât make it easy for it."
In response, Money Body sent a message, saying, "Thatâs the spirit. Tie down the dragon, and Nether Flame will come to finish it off."
Loki nodded and said, "Alright. We will be waiting for the good news."
They ended their conversation at that point. Then Loki turned to Ant Hill and said, "You heard that? The dragon thinks it can take us both. Looking at you, I donât think it is wrong."
