Whoosh!
The monsterâs body was dragged into the black hole until it completely vanished.
The black hole itself was only a hundred meters wideâfar smaller than the monsterâs massive frame. Yet its overwhelming suction force turned the creature into nothing more than a meal.
Nolan waved his right arm, and in an instant, the black hole disappeared.
The tension slowly eased. The weather cleared, and the once-raging sea grew calm again, leaving only small waves lapping against the islandâs shore.
Nolan let out a quiet sigh and whispered, "Itâs done. At last, I can go home and get a good nightâs sleep."
His gaze drifted toward the distance, where two warships were still battling the sea monster.
But from the look of it, victory was only a matter of time. After all, the mastermind pulling the strings from the shadows was already dead.
Suddenly, he recalled the moment he fell from the ship and smacked his forehead.
"Tsk! What a pain. How am I supposed to explain this?" he muttered helplessly.
Once the sea monster was slain, Rafine would surely be weighed down with guilt. And sooner or later, Luvistar and Elina would learn of it tooâonly making the situation even messier.
"I have to hurry back. Iâll just tell them the Singularity of Chaos saved me."
Convinced his reasoning was sound, Nolan was about to leave when a mocking voice echoed from ahead.
"Hahaha! Just as I thoughtâthe Singularity of Chaos is truly something. No wonder the Singularity of Light fell to you."
Buzz!
A red portal opened, and a man stepped through. He was tall, clad in a fiery red robe, with a half-mask covering the upper part of his face.
His eyes glowed crimson, each pupil etched with a fiery symbol. His long, flame-red hair billowed in the wind.
The air grew heavy at his arrival. Within a radius of tens of kilometers, the sky turned blood-redâand time itself came to a halt.
Even the two warships and the sea monster mid-battle froze in place.
Nolan narrowed his eyes, his gaze sharpening on the newcomer.
"Who are you?" he asked coldly.
The manâs power was overwhelmingâon par with the Singularity of Light.
This was the first time Nolan had witnessed such a being. Singularities stood at the pinnacle of power in this world.
There were only seven of them, known as the "Seven Singularities."
But now, someone wielding equal power had appeared out of nowhereâa revelation that truly stunned him.
"Pfft!" The mysterious man chuckled softly, shaking his head. "No need to be so tense, Singularity of Chaos. I havenât come to fightâIâm here to deliver greetings from my master."
"Your master?" Nolan was stunned.
This man alone possessed terrifying power, yet he called himself a subordinate?
Just how strong was the one he called master? Could their strength surpass that of the Singularities themselves?
For the first time, Nolanâwho rarely showed interest in anythingâfelt a surge of genuine curiosity.
If such a figure truly existed, the balance of the world would collapse.
Part of Nolan even wanted to meet him, just to see whether he could endure the full extent of his power. After all, since gaining his own strength, he had never once unleashed it completely.
"Yes, my master," the man confirmed with a small nod. "Heâs very curious about you and hoped to meet. Unfortunately, it isnât possible."
Though his face was hidden behind the mask, his tone carried clear regret.
Nolan arched an eyebrow but spoke flatly, "So thatâs all you came for? I donât think so. Just get to the pointâI have plenty to do."
The man didnât seem the least bit bothered by his indifference. He lifted his right hand, and a black token rose from the ground.
Nolanâs eyes widened in shock. It was the very same token he had seen in Mathiasâ memories.
"Donât tell me Mathias became a monster because of you?"
A murderous aura burst from Nolanâs body, and the atmosphere instantly grew heavy.
He didnât care about Mathias himself. What truly concerned him was the danger of the token. In the hands of a Celestial mage, it could summon countless mythical and ancient beasts that hadnât walked the world in thousands of years.
If it fell into the wrong hands, the token would bring nothing but destruction and death to countless innocents.
Although Nolan was usually indifferent, he couldnât simply stand by and watch people suffer.
After all, he was a princeâand protecting his people was his duty.
"Oh?" The man raised an eyebrow, amusement flickering in his voice. "So, you recognize this token. Yes, youâre right. I was the one who gave it to Mathias. Honestly, I didnât expect him to wield it so well."
Nolan ignored his words and asked coldly, "Do you realize how much trouble that token has caused?"
He pointed toward the distant sea monster and continued, "Because of it, countless lives have been lost, and the eastern region has suffered devastating economic losses. Many are starving and in distressâsome even dead. Are you aware of that?"
"Of course I know that," the man replied with a casual nod. A faint smirk tugged at his lips as he went on, "But do I care? Of course not. Humans are weak creaturesâtheir deaths and misfortunes have nothing to do with me."
He shrugged, adding, "Besides, it was Mathiasâ choice. He wanted revenge, and I merely gave him the means. So really, Iâm not the one to blame."
Nolan paused, admitting to himself that the manâs words werenât entirely wrong.
Even so, he wasnât about to yield. Stretching his hand forward, he commanded coldly, "Hand me the token. Do that, and Iâll have no quarrel with you."
The man froze for a moment, then burst into laughter.
"Hahaha! How amusing... truly amusing!" He shook his head with a grin. "My master was rightâyou are arrogant. The Singularity of Chaos truly is fascinating! But youâve underestimated me far too much! Iâ"
Before he could finish, Nolan flashed in front of him, his left fist already swinging.
"So noisy, damn it!"
Bang!
His punch slammed into the manâs face with tremendous force, sending him hurtling a kilometer away.
Yet the man quickly regained his balance, twisting his body in midair.
Reaching up, he touched the side of his maskânow crackedâand felt a sharp throb of pain in his skull that left him momentarily dizzy.
"Singularity of Chaos..." He growled angrily. "You have crossed the line! Today, I will show you that I am not weaker than you!"
Boom!
A fiery red aura exploded from his body. Simultaneously, the air was swept away as the temperature around increased crazily.
He brought his hands together, and from under the ground, a sea of magma appeared and surged into the sky.
Nolan gasped in shock. "Isnât that the power of the Singularity of Flame? How is that possible?"
