Chapter 82. Meeting The Goddess of Lust! (Things are Going To Get Even Better!)

A smile filled the woman’s lips, promising things Rex couldn’t quite pinpoint. "Among other things."

"You can call me... Lustia, but I’ve had many names over the years."

"I’ve been called the Goddess of Lust, the Mistress of Desire, and the Forbidden Divinity, but my favorite name is one that even other gods fear."

"Dramatic," Rex said.

’Knew it... she’s a goddess, and how surprising for her to bring me into this void.’

’Surely... there must be a good reason for it.’

Lustia’s smile got bigger. "I’ve had thousands of years to build my reputation, and being humble does not make you a forbidden god."

She started to circle him slowly, moving like a cat stalking its prey. "Rex Rexilion, you’re an interesting human, and I knew that just by seeing your progress in this world..."

"Not many humans come to my domain acting nonchalant like that... you do know this void is the same as hell."

"Most of them come in screaming, begging, or so broken that they can’t be recognized."

"But you? Like a man diving into a pool on a hot summer day," she said.

"Alright, enough with all this pointless introduction. What do you want from me?" Rex asked.

"Want...? More like desire, but I had to tell you that your life clearly almost came to an end when you fell asleep in that carriage," she said while resting her hands on her massive tits.

"The Goddess of Life has been watching you closely; she is very angry about your actions and is going to punish you while you sleep by trapping you in her domain, preventing you from engaging in any more of that unpleasant behavior."

Rex said, "The Goddess of Life...?" It seems like I really did cause big trouble, huh?" and he turned to keep her in his line of sight.

"It didn’t feel like a punishment at all if you explain it like that."

"Oh, she was punishing you," Lustia said, stopping right in front of him.

She was close now, close enough that Rex could feel the warmth coming from her skin and smell the intoxicating scent that seemed to get stronger when she was around.

"She threw your soul when you were asleep into the deepest hole she could find, hoping you would suffer forever or just stop existing... or should I say the abyss."

"She didn’t get that the abyss isn’t a place where everyone suffers."

"It is a place of truth."

"Truth?"

"Heaven rewards those who go against their nature."

"Those who accept the abyss, even hell, are welcomed there." Lustia reached out and touched Rex’s cheek with her fingers.

It was a touch that made his nerves tingle. "You didn’t hesitate or feel bad about who you were."

"You chose your darkness not because you were broken, but because it was true."

"That kind of soul doesn’t hurt here, Rex... It does well enough to dominate it."

Rex didn’t pull away from her touch, and he didn’t lean into it either. He just watched, taking note of how her eyes seemed to darken with interest when he didn’t respond.

"So... what now?" Rex asked. "You show me around the palace of eternal pleasure?"

"And please explain it more clearly, my head needed a lot more processing after I met a goddess like you."

"My, my, what a charming man you are truly..." Lustia laughed. "Well, it’s nothing so ordinary."

"I have an idea for you that I think you’ll find much more interesting than any desire!"

"Alright, now I’m paying more attention." Rex crossed his arms.

She took a step back, making room between them, and the air seemed to be full of energy. "The Goddess of Life sees sinners as broken toys that need to be fixed."

"When she looks at souls like yours, all she sees are flaws, things that need to be fixed, corrected, and saved."

"All that kindness and hope is exhausting." Lustia’s voice was almost mocking now. "But me?"

"I don’t see any problems at all, in fact... I do love it... makes me all warm and fuzzy!"

"All I see is promise and a soul that knows the most important truth about life, which is that desire is not a weakness to be overcome but a power to be used."

"You want to use me," Rex said in a flat voice. "And you know that I’m not a stupid fool to be easily used, especially by a goddess like you, even if you admit to being the Goddess of Lust."

"No, no, no... just hear me out on this one! I want to invest something into you," Lustia said. "See? There’s a difference, right?"

"If I used you, it would mean I’m taking something without giving it back."

"What I’m offering is a partnership, a contract between two beings who are as equal as a mortal soul and a goddess can be." She waved her hand, and the area around them shook.

They weren’t standing in the void anymore.

Instead, they were in a room that looked like a throne room, but the throne itself looked less like furniture and more like an expression of power carved from obsidian and desire.

Lustia sat down on the throne in a way that made it look like she was trying to seduce someone. "You know, the Goddess of Life almost punished you for doing something so wrong."

"Especially if many reincarnators wanted a happy life, and some of them were your past victims... with all your bullying, cucking, and even killing." Lustia said while licking her lips.

"When you’re punished by the Goddess of Life... all she wanted was to change you so that you looked like her idea of perfection."

"And for me... I don’t have any such ideas about that boring thing." Lustia laughed. "Rex Rexilion, I would rather not fix you... you’re already perfect the way you are."

"And... I want to let you go enjoy your freedom even more because the system you get is exclusively coming from myself." Lustia said while tapping her chest.

Rex then smiled and followed it with a laugh. "Hahaha! I fucking knew it... you’re the one who made me even more special in that world, huh?"

"Even though there are many reincarnators that seem to be almost exactly like me with special shit like systems."

"Well... you’re not wrong, but... those systems are given by some goddess that didn’t share the same perspective as me, and of course... your system chooses you as the strongest villain that I desired."

"You have a choice to kill them all and destroy their system, you know? Especially the reincarnator that’s close to you right now... Evelyn, is it?"

"Alright..." Rex felt a real interest was growing. "What do I get out of this deal?"

"The Goddess of Life has her saints, heroes, paladins, holy warriors, and all who spread kindness and goodness like a disease."

"I want someone who will spread something that is much more true."

"And that is what I refer to as lust."

"Not just lust," Lustia said as she leaned forward. "Desire in all its forms."

"Starting with ambition, craving, obsession, and desire. The raw, unfiltered desire has the power to either make people great or destroy them."

"Hope and redemption are what provide the Goddess of Life her strength, while I build mine on acceptance and letting go."

"Every person who accepts their needs without shame makes me stronger."

"Every time someone wants something without holding back, it feeds my domain."

"And you, Rex Rexilion, will be the one who makes it happen."

She left her throne and walked over to him. It felt like the air between them was crackling with energy.

"I’m going to send your soul back to your body, but with some little touch of mine to make your system and yourself even stronger so that you can stop all the acting and be the true self."

Rex started to think inside his mind, and he knows what he’s about to do to him. "She sounds convincing enough... and with the way she dressed and the aura spread around her."

"She’s really the goddess of lust, and she came to me too late after I had done a lot of drama or some shit... but at least I can take it, as long as I can make fast progress to the point I can start a lot of killing and domination."

Rex looked her directly in the eyes. "What can you even give me that’s better than the Desire Authority System...?"
