EP 26 â Hero & Lucius vs EVIL(7)
âHero-nim, donât you notice anything strange?â
âYes? What do youâhuh? Wait, what? W-What?â
A.A. initially looked confused at my question, but it didnât take long for him to realize something was off. As he touched his face, he kept muttering, âHuh? Huh?â and was touching various parts of his body.
âMy⊠musclesâŠâ
A.A. muttered while touching his arm. And when he saw that his once-ripped abs and pecs had become soft, he sighed again. Finally, he cautiously lifted his trousers to peek inside.
âAhâŠ..â
Of course, there was nothing there. Iâd already confirmed through the status window that the hero had turned into a woman. A.A. let out a despairing sigh and plopped down on the spot. But I didnât have the luxury to sympathize with *her despair. Monsters were still crawling out from all corners of the mansion, and we needed to escape with proof of the Demon Kingâs defeat.
I held out my hand to the hero A.A. and said.
âLetâs get out of here first, Hero-nim. We can worry about the rest later.â
â⊠Youâre right. I was foolish. Letâs leave first and figure things out later.â
The hero quickly regained spirits, seemingly forgetting to despair over her current situation. She grabbed my outstretched hand, the soft feeling of her grip a stark contrast to the firmness she had before. Together, we slowly made our way out of the mansion, which was gradually transforming into a den of monsters.
Once outside, we noticed the monsters, drawn by the Demon Kingâs aura, beginning to scatter. The hero assumed a battle stance but sighed in relief when she realized they were retreating. It seemed like we could finally take it easy.
The journey back was far more leisurely than our perilous approach. If our way in had been a constant struggle for survival, the return felt more like a safari-themed stroll through a monster park.
âOh, Hero-nim, look over there. Itâs a goblin.â
âYeah, it is.â
When I said this, the hero also lazily put her hand on the hilt of the sword and looked at the goblin. Then the goblin would either run away on its own or throw a few stones at us before disappearing. This pattern of mild tension and relaxed pace continued as we made our way back.
A.A. was lost in thought the whole time he was walking. Thinking about it, this was a very serious problem for her. If A.A. had turned into a woman, she could no longer marry Erina. It wasnât about whether elves were against same-sex relationships or not. The issue was that Erina was a princess. A member of royalty had to continue the lineage, so it was impossible for them to marry someone of the same sex.
âCome to think of it, you wonât be able to marry Princess Erina now.â
âYes. Thatâs⊠right.â
âIf thereâs any way I can help, Iâd be more than happy to.â
âNo, thank you. Priest-nim is my savior, just your concern is more than enough.â
A.A. said with heavy melancholy. She had clearly been thinking about that issue as well. If I asked her to do it now, would she? I thought so while looking at A.A.âs sculpted hip. It would completely ruin my image as a kind and virtuous priest, but I was willing to take the risk for that gorgeous pair of legs. Who cares about a smaller chest when her legs were that beautiful?
Her tight leather pants were driving me insane. When A.A. was still a man, it felt uncomfortable. But now, as a woman, there was no sexier outfit. Even as she spoke, I found my gaze lingering on her bent knees, her firm thighs, and the alluring gap between her legs.
âI donât know how Iâm going to explain this to Erina. I promised her Iâd come back safelyâŠâ
âWell, you did return safely, so Iâm sure Princess Erina will be happy about that.â
âBut⊠we canât get married.â
A.A. brought up the subject of marriage with a half-sobbing face. I wonder if her sensitivity has increased because she became a woman, or if she was really shocked by the fact that she couldnât get married. But I couldnât entirely fault her feelings. If I were to suddenly become a eunuch right now, I would be so desperate that I would go crazy. ĆĂĆÉ”ïŒąĐáčš
I hadnât even had sex with Sieri yet. That would truly be unfair.
Still, no amount of whining was going to solve an impossible problem. There wasnât a solution here, and no amount of tears would change that. I opened my mouth to say something to A.A., but then she suddenly muttered.
âIf only I couldâve had a childâŠâ
A child? A crazy idea sparked in my mind. If I had said it normally, the hero would have stabbed me, but considering that I saved her life and helped her with various things, wouldnât it be worth a shot now? I asked.
âThen, if Princess Erina were to bear the child of someone very strong, could you still get married?â
âYes⊠but thatâs ridiculous. The thought of Erina carrying another manâs child is⊠Itâs unthinkable. I could never accept such a thing.â
A.A. shook her head firmly, leaving no room for negotiation. I decided not to press the matter any further. I had briefly considered taking a bite out of Erinaâs pie, but it seemed like a âhusband-approved NTR sex playâ wouldnât work.
Pushing the topic any more in this situation would only make A.A. suspicious. I clicked my tongue in regret. Betraying a comrade was painful, but since I saved the heroâs life, couldnât she give me at least half of her share?
With those thoughts swirling in my head, A.A. and I made our way through the monster-infested territory and arrived at the neighboring domain. The lord greeted us with his usual warm smile, but I could sense the faint disappointment behind his facade. It was obvious heâd been hoping I wouldnât make it back alive.
The lord didnât recognize the hero next to me and asked.
âWho is this beside you?â
âSheâs my younger sister.â
I replied, not wanting to explain. It was a much cleaner explanation than saying the hero was hit by the demon king and I used a forbidden elixir or something. The lord looked at me with a surprised expression and asked again.
âBut⊠didnât you leave with the Hero?â
âAh, that⊠he went back to his hometown.â
The hero seemed to play along with my act, nodding in agreement. If she had called me âoppa,â it would have been perfect, but her masculine pride probably wouldnât let her say something so audacious. Not that I particularly wanted to hear it, anyway. Calling her my younger sister had been more of an impulsive move.
âOh, I see. Are you planning to pass through right away, or perhaps stay the night? Weâll make sure youâre well taken care ofâŠâ
I glanced at the lord, watching him rub his hands together and smile in a way that sent shivers down my spine. Then, I looked over at the hero. Thinking back, the neighboring lordâs NTR event usually triggered when the protagonist showed up with a female companion. Judging from the murmurs of the lordâs staff, this wasnât his first time pulling such stunts.
I decided then and there to kill this bastard. He was already infamous for his depravity, and his reputation within his territory was in tatters. Nobody would fuss if he died. With that, I readily accepted the lordâs invitation. Then I whispered to the hero, who looked eager to leave.
âWouldnât it be better to return to Princess Erina looking well-rested and refreshed? That way, she wonât be as shocked by everything. Letâs take this chance to rest up for the night and make sure we return in good shape.â
âThatâs right. I didnât think of that. Letâs do that, Priest-nim.â
So, we decided to rest at the mansion to recover from our journey. The lord truly provided a lavish reception. Extravagant dishes that I never ate at my own mansion were served, and after dinner, attendants even offered massages. I checked my status window several times to see if there was any poison in the tea or food, but there was no sign of it.
It seemed the lord simply wanted to curry favor with us. Logically, that made sense. No matter how deranged this blonde NTR lord might be, he wouldnât dare lay a finger on his neighborâs skull-crusher younger sister. Not that it mattered to me, anyway.
Tonight, that tanned, blonde, overweight lord would be accidentally murdered for trying to assault my âyounger sister.â
Late at night, I quietly got up and grabbed my mace. The hallways of the lordâs mansion were deserted. I slowly crept through the corridor toward the lordâs office. Inside, I found him snoring away on a makeshift bed set up in the corner. I carefully approached and checked to see if he was in a deep sleep. The steady rise and fall of his chest and his calm breathing confirmed it.
Satisfied, I grabbed the lord by the nape and began dragging him out of the office. If I had run into anyone along the way, I might have had to kill a few more people, but luckily no one passed by.
âHuh? WhaâŠ? Wh, who⊠mmphâŠ!â
As soon as the lord began to stir awake, I lightly struck his head and knocked him back unconscious. I then dragged his limp body to just outside the heroâs room. Taking a deep breath, I yanked down both his pants and underwear at once. Next, gripping him by the nape, I hurled him with all my strength against the door to the heroâs room.
Bang!
âWaaahhh!â
The impact jolted the lord awake, and he rolled on the ground, letting out a shrill scream. Startled by the commotion, the hero grabbed the sword lying beside her and pointed it at the lord. The lord clutched his head, shrieking.
âGaaaah! Aaaghhh!â
âHow dare you try to assault an innocent woman?!â
âI-Iâm sorry! Iâm sorry! I wonât do it again!â
I shouted as best as I could. The lord began groveling, banging his head against the floor as if he had done it before. I had to admit, he was quite quick-witted. The hero alternated glances between me and the lord, then asked.
âWhatâs going on, Priest-nim?â
âThis man tried to assault you. I caught him outside your door.â
At those words, the lord, who had been lying flat on the floor, looked up with a confused expression. But before he could say something, I slammed my mace into his head.
âGuegh!â
The lord collapsed to the floor with a squeal of a dying pig. No, perhaps âflattenedâ would be a better description. His head had sunk deep into his torso, looking like a smashed jar of honey. Leaving the mangled heap of the lord behind, I turned to the hero, who stared at the gruesome scene before her. She looked at me and said.
âI couldâve handled it myself⊠but thank you, Priest-nim.â
âYouâre in a womanâs body now. Please be careful.â
I replied, wiping the blood off my face. The hero let out an awkward laugh, seemingly uncomfortable with the words âin a womanâs body.â Her laugh was pretty cute.
