Yan Luo’s decision to give up instead of challenging Ye Mo provided a new twist to the competition. The top four were finalized – Ye Mo, Li Huo, Nian Bing, and Liu Qingyun.

Ye Mo was no doubt the biggest dark horse among the four of them.

“I challenge Liu Qingyun!” Ye Mo’s eyes were bright as he gave Liu Qingyun a death stare.

“Liu Qingyun, do you accept the challenge?” Elder Tao Tie asked

“I do!” Liu Qingyun looked at Ye Mo and said calmly.

Even though Ye Mo managed to defeat Chu Tian, he did so with the help of seals – Level-Four Ninth-Tier seals – that type of seals were extremely rare even in the Spirit Treasure Hall – if he didn’t have any more seals, Ye Mo was nothing.

“Then the first semi-finals will start with Li Huo and Nian Bing.”

He let Li Huo and Nian Bing compete first to allow Ye Mo to recover his strength. With Li Huo and Nian Bing being partners, they would obviously find it hard to fight each other – they dragged out the fight. He said, “Liu Qingyun, you’ve been disrespecting the Asura Dao Palace for the longest time, and you’re the reason for my Big Senior’s demise. Now, I’m going to represent the Asura Dao Palace and challenge the strongest disciple of the Human Dao Palace!

While his strength could not compare to Liu Qingyun, no one had expected Ye Mo to be carrying those four seals in the last round, causing even Chu Tian to be unable to defend against him, likewise for Liu Qingyun. Hence, he was completely fearless.

His cold words echoed through the arena.

Everyone heard his words clearly. Seeing his expression, they were all stunned.

Ye Mo had definitely not recovered completely. Furthermore, with Liu Qingyun’s strength in the Ninth Tier of the Transcendence Realm, he wasn’t far off Chu Tian’s level.

No one doubted the strength of the four seals – even someone as strong as Chu Tian couldn’t stand against them.

“That’s right,” Liu Qingyun said as he stepped toward Ye Mo cautiously. “In your current state, I have no need to fear you at all.”

Drawing out his long sword, he was prepared in case Ye Mo launched an attack.

“Liu Qingyun, do you really think that I can’t unleash these four seals?” Ye Mo asked. “The energy inside my body is infinite. If you’ve got the guts, you can test me. Admit defeat and surrender. Otherwise, when I throw out all of my four seals, you won’t be able to survive.”

The Caged Dragon Powers slowly recuperated. With the Rising Dragon Pillars able to automatically absorb the natural elements of his surroundings to recover strength, there was no need to sit down and meditate. His decision to sit down and meditate in the first place had confused everyone watching.

“Hmph? You’re trying to scare me? Do you think I, Liu Qingyun, can be scared so easily?”

Liu Qingyun let out a cold grunt as the long sword in his hand turned into a giant dragon. The Will of the Human Dao wrapped around Ye Mo. A gigantic Human Dao Deity, hundreds of meters tall appeared behind Liu Qingyun. It was the true will. The Human Dao Deity would be supporting him from behind, adding to the strength of the Will of the Human Dao. Unless Ye Mo’s strength of will was greater than Liu Qingyun’s, he wouldn’t be able to retreat.

But, facing this, Ye Mo didn’t even look as he combined the Five Rows Power with the Caged Dragon Powers, channeling the four seals and activating them together, unleashing a strong wave of force. First, the Ice Wall secured Ye Mo’s defense, the Wooden Restraint grabbed Liu Qingyun, surprising him. The special feature of the Wooden Restraint Seal was that it caused the Caged Dragon Seed to start sprouting. Being able to restrain his opponent as well meant it was an extremely strong seal.

“How can a mere seal be enough to handle me?”

Restrained by the seal, Liu Qingyun and the Human Dao Deity let out a roar. Channeling strength into Liu Qingyun, his whole body started to expand, about to break free from the restraint at any moment. But a gigantic Palm of Judgement, shrouded in flames, descended from the sky and struck Liu Qingyun’s body.

A pained scream was the only sound as Liu Qingyun’s Will of the Human Dao was shattered. Liu Qingyun was sent flying, his clothes burnt, covered in blood. He fainted. He looked even worse than Chu Tian.

The Earth’s Judgement was able to completely destroy Liu Qingyun’s defense and the Sorrow Happiness Fire Dance, its continuous attack combined with a will, was completely unblockable.

Watching on, the crowd was struck senseless. Ye Mo had managed to once again combine the four seals and activate their effects to perfection, defeating Liu Qingyun in an instant.

“Liu Qingyun is dead!” one of the Saints shouted.

“What? Dead?”

Everyone watched on in shock. The power of the seals was too frightening.

“I gave him the chance to admit defeat, but he didn’t want to heed my warning.” Ye Mo shook his head helplessly. “These four seals can instantly kill off any fighter in the Ninth Tier of the Transcendence Realm.”
