UNDER the post of the official [Cyberspace] account of [The Great War] ā the one where they released the concept photos of the main cast ā comments flocked nonstop.
[Crazy! All the concept photos look so good! How come the cast looked exactly like the characters in my imagination?]
[Lucas is seriously just Caesar Warwick.]
[They did good picking him. His looks aside, his acting is also already verified. So, we can be sure that he would do justice to the role.]

[His acting is pretty good too. Iām just not sure if he can actually play the playboy character.]

[Instead of worrying whether Yujin Wells would do well or not, you should worry about the other one. At least, I know who Yujin Wells is. But I have no idea who the other one is.]
[I also donāt know him, to be honest. And the fact that he would play my favorite character scares me shitless.]
[I actually only know him from watching <The Sleeping God>. Heās quite good there even though he didnāt have that much screen time. Itās still worrying though since Luan Escanor is also my favorite character from <The Great War>.]
[At least you saw him acting. I only saw him from a clip from that show, <Babyās Day-Off>. Which I only happened to see because of that scandal about the Thornleys.]
[Iām not a fan of Astrid Townsend, but I both saw <The Sleeping God>, as well as the episode of <Blind Justice> where he appeared as a guest. Both characters were very different but he played them quite well. At least, Iām sure that he can act.]

[True. I actually think that Yujin Wells fit the image of Luan Escanor better. If theyāre going to use a newcomer, why not just pick him instead? Iām sure heād do a great job.]

[Iām a die-hard fan of the novel and I can honestly say that the moment I saw Astrid Townsendās concept photo, all I can think about was āyes, this is my Luanā. Didnāt you all feel it?]
[Me too! I think Iāve never saved a concept photo as fast as I did when I saw his. The fact that he can show Luanās nature just by using minimal movements proved that he understood the character perfectly. Thatās why I support this casting choice.]
[What feeling? What support? Are you all being paid by Polaris for saying this shit? Itās a fact that Astrid Townsend still lacked the qualification to be a major cast of a big production like this.]
[What qualification? So, are you saying that Astrid should continue to play small roles just because heās a rookie? Does he have to wait five years for you to say that heās qualified? Astrid has talent. It doesnāt matter whether heās new to the industry or not. Talent like his shouldnāt be buried just because of that.]

Do you really think someone who refused to make an adaptation of her work for years would allow just anybody to play her characters? As her fan, I thoroughly support these choices!]
