Ji Yuan appeared to be hesitating what he should do next; he was actually waiting for Juan Xian’Er to appear but there was no sight from her or any disturbances from the array.

When he saw that Xuan Qiaoqiao was looking at him, he returned a bitter smile to say. “Don’t misunderstood me. I am just trying to admire your beautiful body and I am wondering which part of your clothing should I be ripping instead.”

That was a lie; he had no intention of doing such a bestial act on the Cardinal Priestess and he had said so just for Juan Xian’Er to listen to.

1. It isn’t a coincidence that the Cardinal Priestess name is Xuan Qiaoqiao and that she practices the Nine Reincarnation Revolution; she will have a daughter with Ji Yuan in the future and she is the lead heroine in Cultivation: To Kill the Witch.

I was drafting some of the storyline for the Dark Abyssal while writing the Cultivation: To Kill the Witch to test some ideas.

2. The ending of the Spirit Divine Realm arc ends rather abrupt on purpose since the five consorts won’t be with Ji Yuan at the end. Rather, they will receive a happier ending after the Spirit Divine Realm arc.

The highlights of the Spirit Divine Realm is actually Ji Yuan’s duel with Number 1 Ding Xiaoxiao as this is a pivot part of the story and that the Xia Jiajia is the Great Beyond Goddess.
