"No!" Yun Yang suddenly opened his eyes, only to find himself in the familiar bedroom, lying on the soft bed.

"What’s going on here? Was everything just a dream?" But seeing the panic on his wife’s face, he knew it was all real!

Stepping out of the bedroom, Yun Yang saw Ling Feng sitting quietly on the sofa in the living room.

"Uncle Yun, are you awake?" Ling Feng quickly stood up when he saw Yun Yang.

Yun Yang’s expression was somewhat ugly, "Ling Feng, where’s Xiao Rui?"

"Xiao Rui is in the bedroom. But don’t worry, she’s fine. All she needs is a good sleep!" Ling Feng said with guilt.

Yun Yang went to Yun Hanrui’s bedroom and seeing his daughter peacefully asleep, he breathed a sigh of relief. When he came out again, he said gently to Ling Feng, "Let’s talk."

Ling Feng was somewhat at a loss, whispering, "Uncle Yun, I’m sorry. This was all because of me. But don’t worry, I will take care of this matter."

Yun Yang pointed to the sofa and said, "Sit."

Yun Yang shook his head, "Ling Feng, I’m not pressuring you, nor will I forcefully demand that you be responsible for Xiao Rui! I just want to ask you one question, do you love Xiao Rui? I don’t want you to treat Xiao Rui well out of guilt or obligation. That would be unfair to you, Xiao Rui, and Liu Tingyu in the long run!"

Ling Feng was somewhat puzzled by Uncle Yun’s words.

"Ling Feng, in my heart, you and Xiao Rui have the same place. I consider both of you my children!" Yun Yang said softly, "So, seeing you both find happiness is what would make me the happiest. But if you were to accept Xiao Rui out of guilt or obligation, that’s not what I want! Do you understand what I mean?"

Ling Feng nodded and said, "Uncle Yun, I understand! I truly like Xiao Rui. At first, I just regarded her as my childhood friend and little sister, but as time went on and we got to know each other more, I was deeply attracted to her. In the end, I realized that I had fallen in love with her..."

"What about Liu Tingyu then?" Yun Yang asked, "What are you planning to do about Liu Tingyu?"

Ling Feng looked into Yun Yang’s eyes, bit his teeth, and blurted out with desperation, "I... I also love Ting Yu very much! I know it’s shameless of me to say this, and it’s very greedy too! But they are both wonderful girls, and I don’t want to let go of either! Uncle Yun, I’m sorry!"

Yun Yang spoke with a chilly tone, "Ling Feng, what do you mean? Are you trying to have both feet on two boats? You want to date both girls at once?"

Ling Feng hesitated for a moment, then nodded, "Uncle Yun, I know I’m being greedy, but I don’t want to give up on either of them!"

"Have you thought about the future at all? Can you give them a real love? Can you give them a status? Do you intend to let them follow you namelessly forever?" Yun Yang questioned.

Ling Feng quickly assured him, "Uncle Yun, I will give them a status, I will make them happy! I hope you can... can allow Xiao Rui and me to be together!"

"Impossible!" Yun Yang flatly refused, "Ling Feng, I did appreciate you, but you have disappointed me too much! I can tell you bluntly, you can be with Xiao Rui, but you must break up with Liu Tingyu. Otherwise, there’ll be no room for negotiation!"

Yun Yang’s resolute voice struck Ling Feng like a thunderbolt from the blue!
