The Egyptian Pyramids, as one of the eight great wonders of the world, have become a symbol of Egypt. Naturally, they are under the watchful eyes of the entire nation. For the members of the Freedom Organization, obtaining the map hidden within the Pyramid is by no means an easy task.

The Egyptian Third Government Army is stationed near the Pyramid. If the Freedom Organization’s actions are discovered by the authorities, the Third Government Army would immediately surround the entire Pyramid.

Fortunately, with the help of an insider, the Freedom Organization’s team made their way to the Khufu Pyramid under the cover of night.

Thanks to the insider, the guards at the Khufu Pyramid had already been replaced with members of the Freedom Organization.

"Remember, you only have a maximum of three hours!" the insider said seriously. "After three hours, the guard shift will happen, and it won’t be possible to cover this up."

"Got it. Now open the door to the Khufu Pyramid!" a one-armed man from the Freedom Organization said coolly.

The insider let out a bitter smile. Although he was part of the Freedom Organization, after so many years of climbing the ranks, he was quite satisfied with his current position within the Egyptian Army. However, he also knew that the Freedom Organization people were a group of lunatics. If he didn’t comply, endless revenge awaited him.

"Sigh, it’s about time I find a way to get out of this! If they ever discover my role, I’m done for!"

While thinking this, the insider entered the code on the Pyramid’s keypad. Soon after, with a creaking sound, the door to the Khufu Pyramid opened.

"The Khufu Pyramid is the largest among the Egyptian Pyramids. Its labyrinthine interior is filled with countless dangers and mysterious powers!" the insider said. "Even modern-day Egypt has not fully uncovered the secrets within it!"

The one-armed man, none other than the Indian Snake King, let out a cold laugh and said, "Labyrinthine? If we just dismantle it layer by layer from the outside in, wouldn’t everything become clear?"

The corners of everyone’s mouths twitched. Though the words made sense, these pyramids were considered miracles in human civilization’s history. Even if the Egyptian government had the resolve to dismantle them, this would face international obstruction. Who would dare to take such a universally condemned action against the pyramids?

"I was only joking!" The Indian Snake King shrugged. "Before we go inside, I think we should scout the area first."

With that, the Indian Snake King pulled out a small flute from his coat and began to play it. As the melody echoed, the ground in the distance began to shimmer with countless flashes of light.

As these flashes drew closer, everyone’s expressions changed dramatically. A vast, endless swarm of Desert Snakes surged toward them.

Even the mercenaries, who were known for their unshakable nerve, were visibly horrified when faced with such an overwhelming number of snakes.

"Heh heh heh, a bunch of cowards!" the Indian Snake King sneered. Then, with a snap of his fingers, the Desert Snakes swarmed into the Pyramid.

"Lord Snake King, are you using the Desert Snakes to scout ahead?" a Freedom Organization expert asked.

The Indian Snake King nodded. "Exactly. Snakes are the most sensitive creatures when it comes to danger. I can use the Desert Snakes to determine which areas of the Pyramid are dangerous and which are safe. In fact, given enough time, I could even map out the entire interior structure of the Pyramid!"

A fiery eagerness lit up on everyone’s faces. With the Indian Snake King’s assistance, it seemed like there was a high chance of successfully completing their mission this time.

"Let’s move!" the Indian Snake King commanded. "This Pyramid is massive, and we don’t have enough time to fully scout it. We’ll just have to take things one step at a time. After all, we only have three hours!"

Saying this, the Indian Snake King took the lead and stepped into the Pyramid, followed closely by the other Freedom Organization experts.

Meanwhile, Bai Feifei and the other mercenaries, along with the remaining Freedom Organization members, disguised themselves as Egyptian soldiers to stand guard around the perimeter.

"Ling Feng, do you really think the Pyramid is as dangerous as they say?" Bai Feifei whispered to Ling Feng, knowing he was nearby. "I’ve watched some documentaries about the Pyramids, and they describe them as being so mystical."

"The Pyramid is indeed extraordinary," Ling Feng’s voice sounded softly in Bai Feifei’s ear. "At the very core of the Pyramid lies a mysterious power. There’s a sinister, malevolent aura to it, and many experts don’t dare step inside lightly. There was once a Demi-God Domain expert who defied common sense and ventured into the Pyramid’s core. But when he came out, he was utterly insane. This event sent shockwaves through the entire Underworld!"

"What?! Even a Demi-God Domain expert went insane?" Bai Feifei exclaimed in disbelief. "How is that possible?"

Ling Feng replied, "The Demi-God Domain is merely the highest level humanity can currently achieve. It doesn’t mean those in the Demi-God Domain are invincible in this world. Feifei, when you step into the Demi-God Domain someday, you’ll understand what I mean."

Bai Feifei stuck out her tongue playfully. "Demi-God Domain... I don’t even know if I’ll ever reach that level. They say only top-tier geniuses can step into the Demi-God Domain."

Ling Feng chuckled softly. "Once your Seven-step Silver Light Snake grows and reaches maturity, you’ll naturally enter the Demi-God Domain. The Seven-step Silver Light Snake is a unique species among snakes. At its peak maturity stage, it’s comparable to an ancient behemoth..."

At this point, Ling Feng’s tone suddenly became serious. "Something’s wrong. Someone’s coming from afar!"

Bai Feifei’s eyes sharpened. "Who is it?"

"I’m not sure, but it seems to be government forces. Weren’t they supposed to switch shifts in three hours?" Ling Feng frowned. "Feifei, stay on high alert here. I’ll go check it out!"

Bai Feifei felt a gust of air beside her as Ling Feng flew toward the approaching government troops.

The insider’s face was now filled with fear. He never expected that a high-ranking military official would suddenly decide to inspect the Third Government Army, and even more so, come all the way to the Pyramid to commend the guards!

"Oh no, we’re doomed, we’re doomed!" Despair filled the insider’s heart. According to the plan, the guard shift wasn’t supposed to happen for another three hours. But now, the inspection team was already on its way. There was no way they could cover this up!

Only half an hour had passed! Panic and desperation twisted the insider’s face into a vicious expression. Since there was no way out, he decided he’d rather go down fighting!

"General Maham, something seems off up ahead!" When the inspection team neared the Khufu Pyramid, the chief of staff by the General’s side spoke up. "By rights, the Guardian General Macallan, responsible for defending the Pyramid, should have greeted you by now. But so far..."

General Maham, a man in his forties with sharp, penetrating eyes, fixed his gaze on the distance. A cold smile tugged at his lips. "Muland, notify the Third Government Army to mobilize immediately. It seems we’ve got some little pests sneaking around here."

"All units, be on alert!" At General Maham’s command, the soldiers in the inspection unit chambered their rounds, ready for action.
