Chapter 818: Chapter 818 Desert Fox
"Feifei, the enemy isnât launching a strong attack right now, so they must be sending the Desert Foxes over!" Ling Feng, who had been immersed in the Underworld for many years, naturally knew of the formidable force within the Egyptian Military known as the Desert Fox.
Bai Feifei frowned with a sense of curiosity. "Desert Fox? What is that?"
"Itâs similar to the China Dragon Group, although itâs far weaker compared to them!" Ling Feng replied with a smirk. "But even so, itâs not something these people can handle. We need to be prepared in advance."
Ling Feng continued, "Once the Desert Fox arrives, these people will surely suffer heavy casualties. If they want to survive, thereâs only one wayâto keep moving deeper in. Of course, with my protection, not to mention one Desert Fox, even ten of them wonât be able to harm you."
Bai Feifei sighed softly. "But Ling Feng, I still have a few teammates here."
Ling Feng patted Bai Feifeiâs head and said, "I know. Thatâs why I need you to communicate with them. Iâll lead all of you further into the Pyramid, which will increase everyoneâs chances of survival."
After thinking for a moment, Bai Feifei said, "Alright, Iâll go talk to them now!"
Upon entering the Pyramid, Ling Feng seized the opportunity to reveal himself.
Soon enough, Fat Bear and the other two followed Bai Feifei over. Fat Bear glanced at the "frail-looking" Ling Feng, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes. "Bai Yu, is this the expert you were talking about, the one who can lead us to survival? Isnât he a little..."
Compared to Fat Bearâs massive physique, Ling Feng indeed appeared slim. Fat Bearâs arm was as wide as Ling Fengâs thigh.
Ling Feng chuckled lightly. "To be honest, your abilities in my eyes are pitifully weak. If not for Bai Yuâs request, I wouldnât have bothered with you deadweight! So, I hope you can behave yourselves and not drag us down."
"Pretty boy, what did you say?!" Wild Bear couldnât hold back his anger and stepped forward, grabbing Ling Fengâs shoulder.
Ling Feng raised his eyes and said, "I said, as deadweight, you should have the awareness of being deadweight. Iâll ensure your survival, but if you drag us down, donât blame me for being merciless!"
"Bastard!" Wild Bear was furious. They had come over for Bai Yuâs sake, but this pretty boy was extremely infuriating!
Wild Bear decided to teach him a lesson, to show him how high the heavens were and how deep the earth ran. The Grey Bear Mercenary Group werenât pushovers!
But no matter how much strength Wild Bear used, Ling Feng remained unmoving, leaving Wild Bear shocked.
"Whatâs wrong? Havenât had breakfast? Is that all the strength you have?" Ling Feng extended his hand and said, "Why donât you two join him? Come at me together!"
Seeing Wild Bearâs embarrassed and angry expression, Big Clumsy Bear and Fat Bear also charged forward, aiming to teach Ling Feng a lesson.
Yet, despite the combined might of three giant hulk-like men, they couldnât budge Ling Feng, as if his legs were rooted deeply into the ground.
"Let go!" Ling Fengâs voice boomed. His body trembled slightly, and a powerful force emanated from him.
Thud! Thud! Thud! The three men staggered back several steps and fell to the ground.
"How is this possible? How can he be so strong?!" Fat Bear looked at Ling Fengâs slim figure, utterly stunned.
Wild Bear and Big Clumsy Bear shared the same expression, unable to understand how such enormous strength could reside in Ling Fengâs seemingly frail body.
Ling Feng wasnât deliberately humiliating them. He knew that the fastest way to subdue these prideful mercenaries was with sheer overwhelming force.
"Incredible! You really have the ability to back up your words!" Big Clumsy Bear scratched his head and said, "It seems weâve overestimated ourselves. Mr. Ling, do you have any methods for helping us escape this desperate situation?"
Seeing the submission in their eyes, Bai Feifei breathed a sigh of relief. She had been worried that her three teammates might cause trouble with Ling Feng. Now, it seemed that everything was proceeding according to Ling Fengâs plan.
Ling Feng spoke in a deep tone, "Now that Egyptâs Third Government Army isnât launching a strong attack, it means they are awaiting reinforcements. Among Egyptâs forces, the only group stronger than the Third Government Army is the Desert Fox, so Iâm certain the Desert Fox will come."
"The Desert Fox?" Fat Bear said. "Iâve heard the group leader mention it before. In the desert, the Desert Fox is synonymous with Death God. But I didnât expect them to be part of the Egyptian Military!"
"Theyâre merely a force hidden beneath the conventional military," Ling Feng responded calmly. "To evade their pursuit, we must retreat further inside the Pyramid. Right now, the only one capable of countering the Desert Fox is the Indian Snake King."
The trio from the Grey Bear Mercenary Group exchanged glances before Fat Bear asked Bai Feifei, "Bai Yu, what do you think about this?"
They all knew full well that Bai Yu wouldnât have brought them here without agreement. However, their gesture was an intentional move to let Bai Feifei have the final say.
Bai Feifei understood their intention and replied sincerely, "I believe we should follow Mr. Lingâs advice. I donât want anyone among us to perish here."
"Alright, since you said so, weâll follow your lead," Fat Bear smiled and extended his hand toward Ling Feng. "Thanks, Mr. Ling, for stepping in to help!"
Ling Feng shook his hand lightly and said, "If you want to express gratitude, thank Bai Yu. Iâm simply fulfilling her request."
The three men exchanged knowing looks at Bai Yu, whose cheeks instantly flushed. She lowered her head and pinched the soft flesh on Ling Fengâs waist. "Letâs go already! Stop wasting time!"
Ling Feng gestured decisively. "No time to loseâletâs move!"
Given the number of people sneaking into the Pyramid, Ling Feng and his team of five didnât draw much attention and quickly disappeared into the depths of the Pyramid.
"Cough, cough!" Maham felt a sharp pain in his head as he coughed and opened his eyes. "Where... Where am I... Makar, why is it you?!"
When he saw the man before him, he couldnât help but gasp in shock. But soon, he realized he couldnât move because he was bound tightly.
"Damn it, how did I end up captured by them?" Maham struggled to recall what had happened before he lost consciousness.
Back then, a man had appeared suddenly before him. Before he could react, the man showed him a toothy grin, and then his head throbbed sharply as he blacked out.
"Haha, General Maham, youâre finally awake!" Macallan grinned as he greeted Maham. "Welcome to your new accommodations!"
"Macallan, you traitor!" Maham glared at him furiously. "Youâll die miserably!"
Macallan shrugged indifferently. "Traitor? No, I never betrayed anyone because Iâve always been a member of the Holy War Organization."
"Freedom Organization!" Maham said coldly. "What exactly is your goal?"
