With a loud rumble, the cave trembled.
"Wow, strong legs!" Xuanyuan Xia glanced at Ling Feng sideways. "I thought youād rush in with fearless spirit!"
"Iām not that stupid!" Ling Feng rolled his eyes and said, "What if we fall into a trap set by the Sky-Swallowing Toad?"
However, what puzzled them was that even though the boulder had been kicked inside, causing such a loud noise, there was no sign of movement in the cave, as if no creatures were residing within.
Ling Feng and Xuanyuan Xia exchanged a glance and said in unison, "Go in and take a look?"
"Letās go together! So you donāt chicken out!" Xuanyuan Xia chuckled.
Ling Feng shrugged and then followed Xuanyuan Xia into the cave.
The cave was extremely large, and as soon as they entered, they were hit by a nauseating smell, a mix of putrid and rancid odor that reminded Ling Feng of the smell of bananas mixed with winter dates, as if he was revisiting past memories.
Ling Feng flicked his fingers, and the power of the Origin Water emerged, dispelling the scent surrounding Ling Feng and Xuanyuan Xia.

After walking over a hundred meters and making two turns in the cave, they finally saw the chained Sky-Swallowing Toad at the end!

This means the Sky-Swallowing Toad is still the Guardian of this Stone Gate.
"That Crystal Skull, it lied to us!" Ling Feng said angrily. "Luckily, sister, you are perceptive, or else we would have been really fooled by the Crystal Skull!"
Xuanyuan Xia chuckled, "It didnāt really lie to us; it just selectively told us the truth. What do you think is behind this Stone Gate?"
Ling Feng frowned, "Since the Crystal Skull doesnāt want us to know that the Sky-Swallowing Toad is the Guardian of the Stone Gate, then it must consider the Stone Gate extremely important! I guess it might be hiding secrets of the God race. Why donāt we open it?"
Xuanyuan Xia shook her head, "To open this Stone Gate, you must kill the Sky-Swallowing Toad, and we donāt have the key. Touching the mechanism might trigger a self-destruct system, which is something the Atlantis Divine Race loved to do!"
Ling Feng raised his eyebrows and then tapped the mark on his hand, "Crystal Skull, get out here, or Iāll blow up the Stone Gate below the deep pool!"
After several taps, the Crystal Skull wobbled out, "Ling Feng, whatās up? Didnāt I say I needed rest... What the hell, how did you get here!"
Upon seeing the surroundings, the Crystal Skull couldnāt help but curse.
Ling Feng sneered, "Are you surprised we are here? But before we get to that, shouldnāt you explain what all this is?"
Saying this, Ling Feng pointed at the Stone Gate ahead.
The Crystal Skull hesitated, then said, "Ling Feng, we should really get out of here, itās too dangerous..."
