Chapter 616: Chapter 615 Another Another Crash_1
Time rewound to the present, inside Aidenās room.
"You just slipped her some Magic Potion and made a few hypnotic suggestions, and that turned her into this?" Aiden couldnāt quite believe it. "Are you lying to me?"
The usually compliant and absolutely trustworthy Veronica had attacked him, leading to an effect akin to a "betrayal" power. Could it really be just a succubusās trick with a potion and hypnosis?
Mr. Bloodclothes would probably want to bash his head in once he found out.
"So smart on a regular day, and now youāve turned so foolish, Lord Aiden," Fille said, spreading her hands and shaking her head in despair. "To hypnotize someone against their will is the realm of spirit control, something utterly impossible. But what if, on the contrary, it aligns with the personās own desires?"

"What are you saying?" Aiden was stunned.
"Still donāt get it? Sis wanted to do this herself; she only did it with a little push from me." Fille shrugged her shoulders. "I simply lit the spark."
Suppressing someoneās reason to let them follow their own desires has always been the specialty of a succubus. Moreover, werewolves inherently possess a wild side, and on nights of the full moon, their savage instincts peak and their willpower is at its weakest.
Under the combined effect of alcohol, the potion, and the full moon night, Filleās hypnotic suggestions finally served to fan the flames, enabling Veronica to act on the thoughts she usually repressed and dared not entertain.
"Hahaha, didnāt expect that, did you? I knew all along that sis must have known about your weak spot, Lord Aiden, and you had no guard against her. Iāve been considering this since getting out of jail. Youāre quite good at seeing through my plots, arenāt you? So how come you couldnāt this time?" Fille gloated triumphantly in front of Aiden.
"The potion... was it her idea too?" Aiden frowned. "Why would she do something so unreliable? What if it was poison..."
"She tested the potionās effect beforehand, so she dared to use it on you," Filleās face fell as she spoke.
Fille couldnāt help but recall three hours earlier, when she handed the bottle to Veronicaā
"A Magic Potion with no side effects but a numbing effect, measure the dose well, and it can incapacitate someone for fifteen minutes to an hour or two. Rest assured, itās safe to use." She thrust the bottle into Veronicaās hands.
"Fine, you try it first." Veronica pulled Fille towards her without hesitation.
"What?" Fille was taken aback.
"How could I possibly use an untested potion on the boss?" said Veronica as she poured the potion down Filleās throat.
... At that time, Fille had been numbed for a full half hour.
"Veronica?" Aiden looked to Veronica for confirmation.
"Itās me, for sure." Veronica slurred her words, riding the buzz from the alcohol. "This time you... canāt escape, we need to have a proper talk!"
"I knew you could do it, big sis! Lord Aiden didnāt guard against you at all. But before that, can we get down to business first?" Fille interjected, "Letās move Lord Aiden to the bed first. As agreed, Iām going first!"
With that, she flipped open her cloak, revealing a camera hanging around her neck.
"Youāre really persistent in your mischief," Aidenās eyes narrowed; he understood Filleās intent.
"How can I not keep a keepsake of such an event?" Fille grinned broadly. "Lord Aiden, if you donāt want our pictures flying all over the place, youād better listen to me carefully."
"Starting to blackmail before you even got the photo!?"
"It seems you still donāt quite understand your position, Mr. Aiden... no, Aiden Galahad," Fille had already started to get completely inflated with self-importance, "Let Lady Fille here teach you a lesson in humanity. Sis, do it!"
As long as she got her hands on some photos that were a threat to his reputation, this man would have to bow down to her from now on.
With that thought, she snapped her fingers at Veronica.
"Shut up, when Iām talking to the boss... donāt interrupt!" Veronica glanced at her impatiently.
"Hey, is that any way to talk to your benefactor? It was after hearing what I said that you dared to act. Iām the boss here, correct?" Fille was very dissatisfied with Veronicaās attitude.
At this moment, Aiden noticed somethingāVeronica had simply acted on her own desires after being egged on, and was not controlled by Fille.
In fact, even in this excited state, she remained utterly vigilant around Fille.
"Veronica, if you want to talk, letās have the outsider leave," Aiden tried to persuade Veronica.
Veronica nodded at his words and shouted at Fille, "The boss has spoken, you leave."
"Iām leaving?" Fille pointed at herself in shock, "Are you fucking kidding me?"
"So, as I said, you have no place here," Veronica waved her hand impatiently as if to shoo her away.
"What a joke, we had a deal. I should be included first," Fille pointed to herself resolutely.
Veronica shook her wobbly head, trying to remember and then nodded thoughtfully, "It seems you did say something like that..."
"Exactly!" Fille said angrily.
"But I never agreed to it," Veronica continued.
Fille was petrified on the spot.
She realized that despite finally reaching a point close to success, she seem to have crashed and burned once again.
A second later, she exploded, "Damn, I endured being your guinea pig, but you think after using me you can just kick me to the curb? Let me tell you, sis, not even you can dream of thatāoh my God, where did you get that gun?!"
She suddenly raised her hands in alarm, as Veronica had pulled out a pistol from somewhere and was aiming it at her.
"Itās my gun," Aiden answered for Veronica, "By the way, the bullets inside are exorcism bullets."
"Haha..." Knowing she couldnāt take a hardline stance, Filleās demeanor softened immediately, and she changed tactics, "If you like having him all to yourself that much, then have at it. Iām very generous. Donāt worry, I really wonāt do anything to the man youāre interested in. Just lying in bed with him, striking a few poses for some photos is all!"
Getting enough photos to threaten the warden was the goal, wasnāt it? With something to hold over him, why fear a cooked duck could fly away?
But Veronica decisively rejected her, "No way, how could I let you harm the boss? Hmph, I knew you were up to no good... Get lost, or I might just destroy your camera first. And if I happen to miss my aim... well, youāll just need to hope for the best."
"You!" Fille stamped her foot in frustration, "Such betrayal! Ingrate! Iāll remember thisāsomeday Iāll make you taste the pain of having your love snatched away by me!!"
After saying this, she turned and ran off. Once outside, she slammed the door shut with a bang.
