Lin Lan’s face reddened, and she glared at Luo Ziling irritably before quickening her pace.

Luo Ziling didn’t say anything more and followed Lin Lan to her room.

Once inside, Luo Ziling asked Lin Lan, “Did you follow up on our encounter with that thief?”

“She talked to you about that?” Lin Lan seemed surprised.

Luo Ziling nodded.

“I had nothing better to do, so I looked into it. As it turns out, it was Lin Zecheng and Wang Qimin causing trouble behind the scenes, so I taught them a lesson. Now with Chen Jiahai in this condition, they must be scared. I doubt they’ll dare make trouble again.” Lin Lan explained without hiding anything from Luo Ziling, then added, “Your information, I’ve helped conceal and destroy, making it virtually impossible to find any evidence related to you.”

“Thank you so much,” Luo Ziling expressed his gratitude, then conveyed Fenghuang’s intent and added sincerely, “Fenghuang wouldn’t bother for no reason. Since she warned us, trouble must be on the way, so you should keep a low profile and avoid getting involved in my affairs for now. If something were to happen to you, and indirectly trouble Dragon Rise, it would really be… troublesome.”
