Luo Yuqing paused, her face turning red, then rushed at Luo Ziling to hit him. “You annoying jerk, how dare you tease me, I’ll beat you to death!”

Luo Ziling dodged and started running along the track, shouting back, “Sister, what did your mom tell you?”

Luo Yuqing quickly caught up and, once she was beside him, she said, “She didn’t say much, just that you showed up later and she seemed really angry. Did you yell at her?”

Luo Ziling briefly explained the previous night’s events.

After hearing it, Luo Yuqing opened her mouth in shock and stopped in her tracks.

“No way, my mom actually thought that way?” Luo Yuqing appeared embarrassed on behalf of her mother. “My mom, why is her thinking so different from others? Is she so desperate for a man that she would make such a suggestion? I’m truly ashamed for her.”

“So you don’t support her suggestion?” Luo Ziling stopped and waited for Luo Yuqing.

“I’ve considered that your dad could be my biological father, but I never thought about my mom marrying your dad and forming one family.” Luo Yuqing shook her head. “You, your mom, and your dad are a family. Me, my mom, and my brother are also a family; we couldn’t possibly become one shared family. Your dad would definitely choose your mom.”

“Then you should talk to your mom. She seems a bit over the edge.”

“I know you want my mom not to cause trouble, so we all avoid problems, right?”

“Yes!” Luo Ziling didn’t deny it.

“Fine, I promise you,” Luo Yuqing didn’t refuse and nodded readily, then immediately added, “But you have to tell me everything about Chen Jiahai and Chen Xiaoyi. No hiding anything from me, because I’m your sister!”
