Luo Ziling simply cooked a bowl of instant noodles in the kitchen as lunch.

Before he could finish the instant noodles, his phone rang again.

It was a call from Ouyang Feifei, and he picked it up immediately.

“Ziling, are you at home?” Ouyang Feifei’s voice sounded very gentle.

Ouyang Huihui was also holding a pot of blooming wintersweet flowers.

“Looking at your complexion, you’ve recovered quite well,” Ouyang Feifei said with a smile as Luo Ziling came out to greet them.

The smile was so bright that Luo Ziling was momentarily stunned.

“I only found out yesterday that you were injured,” Ouyang Huihui, holding the flowers, approached Luo Ziling and said apologetically: “I am really sorry that I didn’t come to visit.”

“It’s okay, having a chance to recuperate quietly is a good thing,” Luo Ziling took the wintersweet and invited Ouyang Feifei and Ouyang Huihui into the house, “My mom isn’t home, so just make yourselves comfortable. What tea would you like to drink?”

“You sit down and rest; I’ll handle it,” Ouyang Feifei said as she went to boil water and prepare the tea leaves. She then asked Luo Ziling, “What tea would you like? Longjing, black tea, or chrysanthemum tea?”

“Green tea,” Luo Ziling also stood up, “I should do it. It’s not proper for guests to do these things.”

“My sister doesn’t consider herself a guest,” Ouyang Huihui said disdainfully with a sneer, “She thinks she’s the host here.”

This naturally brought a fierce glare from Ouyang Feifei.

Stunned by her sister’s fierce glare, Ouyang Huihui immediately shut her mouth.

“Both Lu Lianda and Lu Weiguang are dead, things have become more complicated.” After brewing the tea, Ouyang Feifei sat next to Luo Ziling and said softly, “If I’m not mistaken, the person behind the curtain must have stopped this operation. I believe that person must now be frantic, busy trying to mend the situation.”

“Does that mean, if we investigate promptly, it’s very likely we could find some clues?”

Luo Ziling could understand the implied meaning in her words, and Ouyang Feifei was quite happy. She nodded lightly and then said, “That’s right. I’ve already had someone looking into it, hoping to find some clues.”

“Thank you for your effort,” Luo Ziling expressed his gratitude, then quickly added, “Actually, you don’t have to bother with this matter.”

“There might be plans targeting me, so I must investigate clearly,” Ouyang Feifei spoke with a resolute expression.

Seeing Luo Ziling and Ouyang Feifei talking to each other and ignoring her, Ouyang Huihui felt a bit annoyed and couldn’t help but make a sarcastic remark, “My sister still treats herself as your fiancée.”

“Ouyang Huihui, nobody would treat you as mute if you didn’t speak,” Ouyang Feifei got angry and couldn’t help but scold Ouyang Huihui in front of Luo Ziling.

“Yes,” Ouyang Feifei nodded, “I also believe that it is other members of the Yang Family who have planned this. Of course, we can’t rule out members of the Chen Family or the Ling Family, or even a self-directed ploy by you.”
