Ling Jinhua’s gaze grew more complex, “Are you afraid the descendants of the Ling Family are trying to fish in troubled waters?”

“Grandfather knows that’s certainly the case.” Ling Ruonan became very saddened.

“You are too audacious!” Ling Jinhua said coldly.

Ling Ruonan was taken aback by his words and stood still for a while before she straightened up and stepped back to Luo Ziling’s side, “Grandfather, I understand your stance now. I won’t disturb your rest, I will go busy myself with things first.”

The sudden change in Ling Ruonan’s attitude surprised Luo Ziling, standing by her side without having uttered a word.
