To his surprise, she had posted another update today.

It was again related to Luo Ziling.

“The national idol who returns victorious, I wonder if you remember this ordinary girl like me. I hope the distance between us doesn’t grow further, and I hope we will forever be friends.” The accompanying pictures were of him being warmly welcomed at the airport.

Luo Ziling didn’t know that Dai Shulan had set it so that only he could see the Moments post.

He thought everyone could see it, hence his surprise.

Looking at her previous Moments posts, Luo Ziling couldn’t help but feel a bit restless.

After forcing himself to rid his mind of distractions, Luo Ziling finally fell asleep.

Upon waking up the next morning, Luo Ziling found himself weighed down by one of Luo Yuqing’s long legs.

However, they didn’t engage in their usual intense combat but rather practiced pushing hands like Tai Chi, loosening up their muscles.

Soon after, they ran a few laps around the park together, working up a sweat before finishing.

During the exercise, Luo Liansheng told Luo Ziling that he would go to Tianshan to gather herbs in a few months.

“Grandpa, why not go during the summer break, and I’ll join. They want to go have some fun and stay in the mountain village for a while,” Luo Ziling said excitedly. “If the weather’s good, it wouldn’t hurt to take them up some of the shorter peaks.”

Luo Liansheng thought for a moment and didn’t decline. “Sounds good. Take Ishihara Naka and Xu Zhiyuan along, too. Since we’re taking them as disciples, we should impact them positively. Who knows, they might eventually be of use to us. Once they come over, I’ll often have them around to lend a hand.”

“Grandpa, does that mean you intend to stay in Yanjing for a while and won’t return to Yuezhou for the time being?”

“Yes,” Luo Liansheng nodded. “Yanjing is too unstable. I feel better being here with you all to prevent any unforeseeable issues.”

Luo Ziling was immediately delighted, “That’s great, now I can see you often, Grandpa.”

“The deaths of Chen Jiahai and Yang Yunzhong were a catalyst, and the ensuing struggle will be more intense.
