Chapter 1269: Chapter 649: The Guide_2
Gusta suddenly snapped back to consciousness, unsure of which adjectives to use to describe his current mood.
But in any case, since the other party used such restrictive means, he probably wonât take his life in the short term.
The force, like ink oil, wriggled its way to him; Gusta forcibly suppressed his bodyâs instincts, allowing it to penetrate through his skin.
It was like taking the first sip of icy water after intense exercise; Gusta could feel clearly the cold, dark force flowing through his body.
Gradually, it soaked through his entire body; he could even detect these forces deeply bonding with his cells, then lying dormant, and finally disappearing.
"Donât worry..." Tanwus said, his attitude seemingly more relaxed, "This is your honor, you are the first life form of this era to come into contact with the Eternal Abyss."
"Ultimately, you will surely become an Ultimate Life Form."
Ultimate Life Form?
Gusta was startled, the chaotic thoughts in his mind dissipated, replaced by an unutterable heat and desire.
He was not unaware of the disaster invoked by the Eternal Abyss; even if he hadnât contacted the Holy Castle nor encountered detailed records, the ruins of numerous extinguished civilizations spoke volumes.
The Eternal Abyss might destroy the entire interstellar community, but... what does that matter to him?
Because of the Azure Dragon, he could only hide away now, but if he pledges allegiance to the Eternal Abyss, everything would be different.
Moreover, does he really have any choice now?
As his thoughts grew clearer, the fear and anxiety in his mind gradually faded, leaving only resolve, "I understand now."
Tanwus nodded in satisfaction; the Eternal Abyss needs people like him, and in the early active stages of the Abyss Lord, they can play a significant role.
He once served as a guide, submitting to the Abyss Lord until now.
Gusta made up his mind and couldnât help but ask, "Could you tell me why we need to deal with the Azure Dragon? Is there something special about him?"
"This matter has nothing to do with you." Tanwusâs tone instantly turned cold.
Gustaâs inner heart was slightly intimidated, and he did not dare to ask further, but he heard the other party inquire, "Tell me about your understanding of him."
"My understanding of the Azure Dragon..." Gusta hesitated for a moment, images flashed and then faded in his mind, his brow furrowed as if sorting out thoughts, slowly speaking, "Mysterious, powerful, unknown."
"No one knows his origins, some suspect he was once a consciousness copy of the Forging Hammer Divine Craftsman, others suspect heâs a Titan Branch, and yet others say he excavated some civilizationâs ruins, thus rising..."
"Many rumors donât have a unified answer, nor any evidence. If anyone is most likely to know his origins and identity, it can only be his studentâLi Ming."
Gustaâs face flickered, the scenes of his multiple confrontations with the Azure Dragon appeared, never having gained the upper hand.
Briefly arranging his thoughts, he continued, "His strength composition mainly has three aspects: first, Titan Holy Artifacts. Currently, he controls two broken Titan Holy Artifacts, the Eternal Silence Star and Kashmirâs Spear."
"Secondly, his personal evolution strength; he once severely injured a Titan Branch nearly evolved to the X Level limit."
"Thirdly, Mechanical Holy Spirits, a powerful means comprised of billions of mechanical bodies."
"Alright, I know all this." Tanwus interrupted, having understood this information earlier from those life forms he devoured.
He knew those Titan Holy Artifacts were just remnants of King Level weapons, possessing the complete state of "Doomsday," he naturally wasnât afraid, moreover, the Azure Dragonâs evolution level was insufficient to exert maximum power.
As for individual evolution strength, these X Level life forms he devoured couldnât restore him to the Ultimate level, but no X Level could defeat him.
The only thing to be wary of is that Mechanical Holy Spirit Technology; its upper limit is unknown.
As long as he ensures this guy doesnât carry a large number of mechanical bodies, he is confident to take him directly.
He wanted to know more secretive information, things others wouldnât know, to confirm whether the Azure Dragon had any hidden methods, and to learn why the Abyss Lord is so concerned.
Gusta couldnât help but lower his head.
Tanwus shook his head, "My existence in the Main Universe is limited. Once the Azure Dragon is captured, Iâll return; the Eternal Abyss has yet to enter its active period, so everything thereafter needs to be settled by yourself."
"But, those Titan Holy Artifacts on the Azure Dragon can be given to you."
Upon hearing the first part, Gusta felt indifferent; but the latter part made his eyes sparkle brightly, "I will give everything for the Eternal Abyss."
......
At the same time, Li Ming wasted no time, embarking on an unassuming small spaceship, heading to the coordinates Gusta provided.
Along the way, he contacted Anatoli several times to see if there were any clues from them to verify the truth of Gustaâs claims.
But all were fruitless; they were still investigating the attack sites.
Li Ming put away his smart terminal, shaking his head; he could clearly see Anatoli was simply delaying.
These attack sites could easily form a route, and if Anatoli wanted to check, he could have preemptively ambushed at several spots a month ago, following the trajectory.
But this is understandable too; ambushing carries risks, and Anatoli and his people wouldnât risk their lives over a single order.
In the following period, he concentrated on traveling, the coordinates provided by Gusta indeed kept changing.
However, the general direction remained unchanged, only the end star gate nodes were exchanged.
On the spaceship, Li Ming intermittently developed the Genetic Seed until a month and a half later.
Mentales Star Gate Node, belonging to the Sea of StarsâMaka United States, considered a somewhat unimportant star gate node, connecting less than twenty star gate hubs.
Sailing slowly out from the star gate, the architectural style here was quite peculiar; vivid colors everywhere, even the star gate framework was multicolored.
Each civilization has its own characteristics, Li Ming was long accustomed, presenting official credentials and completing entry procedures, idly docking at the platform.
After getting off the spaceship, he didnât leave the hub; he opened the smart terminal to send a message to Gusta, finding a place to rest and wait.
About two or three days later, a figure entered the resting room; upon seeing Li Ming, the expression froze slightlyâ
How could it be Li Ming?
Gusta was evidently puzzled, hesitating inexplicably.
He had heard previously that the Azure Dragon liked to let his student Li Ming replace him in various tasks as a form of training and also as bait.
Li Ming in the open, the Azure Dragon in the shadows; if any problem arises, he can handle it promptly.
Gusta initially thought this was idle talk; Li Mingâs development potential is exceedingly high, with boundless future prospects, how could he take such risks?
But now he acknowledges the news was indeed accurate.
Li Mingâs Information State wasnât well concealed; the S Level life form aura was fully exposed, and he found no traces of Mimicry disguise.
This... is it really necessary?
Gusta was puzzled; even if they donât trust him, anyone else could scout; why must it be Li Ming?
He suspected the Azure Dragon was hidden amongst the nearby people; his gaze swept around in a circle, amidst the bustling, the low murmur mixed with various interstellar dialects.
With some hesitation, he stepped forward.
"Why is it you?"
An abrupt spiritual fluctuation came through, Li Ming looked up somewhat bewildered, moments later he locked onto the figure approaching.
Gusta, disguised, changed his appearance, further asked, "Where is your mentor?"
"Lord Gusta?" Li Ming inquired uncertainly.
"Yes, itâs me." Gusta responded firmly, his eyes peering at Li Ming, "Did your mentor not come?"
"Of course, he did." Li Ming replied, "However, my mentor prefers to stay hidden in the shadows."
"He still doesnât trust me." Gusta frowned.
Li Ming shrugged, "Isnât that quite normal."
In an instant, Gusta felt a peculiar sense of deja vu; he vaguely saw shadows of the Azure Dragon in Li Ming.
Yet, itâs natural for students to resemble their mentors.
What surprised him was Li Mingâs mindset; he scanned up and down this human with high development potential, asking, "Arenât you worried? There is significant risk this time."
