Chapter 1317: Chapter 674: Does the Azure Dragon Dare to Show Himself?
"Donât play these word games, itâs pointless," Anduin said coldly.
At Azure Dragonâs level, reputation and prestige are inherently crucial parts of oneself.
If he really hadnât come, it would severely damage his prestige.
"Should we rescue this Abel?" Perkins asked.
"A discarded pawn, Lord Azure Dragon doesnât even bother to care, do we really need to?" Anatoli said nonchalantly.
Sener furrowed her brows, her slender figure leaning against the porthole, "If we donât rescue him, the words of the Joint Organization will lose much of their weight in the future."
"Isnât rescuing him equivalent to courting death?" Anatoli emphasized, "Canât you hear Tandinâs warning? Even if they tied us all up, it might still not be enough to make a difference with that armor present."
Everyone fell silent, even Anduin was at a loss for words.
The Three Great Civilizations have brought forth things beyond their imagination to counter the threat of Azure Dragon, to retreat now would be disgraceful.
Elsewhere in the Starfield, the Navigator looked at Azure Dragon standing beside him in astonishment.
Outside that dazzling, iconic armor, a layer of crimson light veil enveloped him, seemingly unimpressive.
Azure Dragon is clearly here, so why do those people say he didnât come, failing to notice?
"This spatial fluctuation seems to be an offensive tactic..." Li Ming thought to himself, the rippling space waves stirred by the Void Anchor were isolated by the crimson energy enveloping him.
"Itâs still unclear whether Adam is alive or not; just one Void Anchor, thereâs too little to go on." He stared at the Empire Mother Star, heavily protected.
"Even if Adam is alive, without seeing me, he might find it hard to make an appearance."
If this is truly a setup, Li Ming wasnât certain if the target was himself.
But Adam already knew his identity, and would surely be curious how he reached this stage. Even if the target isnât him, Adam probably wouldnât mind taking him along.
Amidst the scene, Tandin looked down coldly at Abel not far away, "By colluding with foreign enemies, you have committed a capital offense. Do you surrender or intend to resist?"
"Isnât there anyone willing to step forward for you?"
Abel lowered his head in bitterness. Facing Tandin, he naturally had no power to resist, but the question was evidently targeted at someone else.
After his initial fury, he began to ponder.
Tandin first showcased his strength, laid out his trump card, and after stunning everyone, no one dared to step forward, leading to a suppression.
The mediation announcement from the High-level Life Form Union was spectacular, but in the end, no one dared to speak up, which is utterly embarrassing.
And Tandin was very satisfied with his actions. In front of so many people, he naturally wouldnât kill Abel, at most just take him back.
But, just as his words fell, a purple shimmer entered everyoneâs field of vision.
Tandinâs gaze narrowed, as the newcomer approached without any intention of retreating, revealing themselves as they came near.
"Anduin..." Tandinâs expression remained calm, black fire appeared on the surface of the Dominator Armor, "Do you intend to help Abel resist?"
In close proximity, Anduin could indeed feel the terrifying aura emanating from Tandin.
Yet, he steeled himself and spoke firmly, "Lord Tandin, I need to correct something; I am not here to help anyone. The High-level Life Form Union is here for interstellar stability, not to interfere in the Empireâs domestic affairs."
Tandin kept his arms crossed, showing no reaction to Anduinâs words, responding dismissively, "Such words might fool outsiders."
"However, itâs good that youâve stepped forward. Since the groundwork was laid for so long, if it was just bluff, itâd be dull. Itâs a pity the others cherish their lives too much, but you, Vice Chairman, have caught my attention..."
Anduinâs heart skipped a beat as Tandinâs hands unfolded from his chest, a sharp light flickering in his eyes, "Letâs use you as an example!"
Tandin suddenly attacked, with terrifying aura unleashed, his right arm extending threefold, countless lava fissures breaking out on his skinâs surface.
A piercing shriek ripped through the void, the entire space convulsing, five fingers expanding to the size of a satellite, black flames collapsing into a vortex within the palm, devouring all surrounding light in an instant.
The terrifying tendrils of the hand, like countless black snakes, merged into a giant claw crawling from the void, burning even the void itself, as space crumpled into charred rags.
Anduinâs pupils constricted, gripped by a profound dread, aware of the risk before coming, but he estimated the likelihood of Tandin attacking was less than forty percent.
Yet, he did not anticipate such decisiveness.
Facing Tandin, Anduin truly understood what it meant to be unmatched, feeling a genuinely crushing power.
Through the gaps between the fingers, he could vaguely see the cold, detached eyes of Tandin.
Instinctively resisting, silver flames burst from the depths of Anduinâs pupils, and as he raised his hand, countless light streaks erupted from his pores, each golden thread intertwining and weaving into ceaselessly multiplying thorn cages.
Around him, energy matrices etched into the void, cold stars emerging then shattering into innumerable mountainous ice blades barraging forth.
Additionally, countless gilded vertical pupils opened, each reflecting Tandinâs black flame claw marks, their crisscrossing beams outlining a radiant prison.
His right hand poised to grip attracted Thunder Light, solidifying into a tangible spear, releasing a million Thunder Spears upon separation.
Anduinâs swift response, an all-out dazzling counterattack, illuminated the starry sky.
"All flashy," Tandin remained expressionless. As he clenched his fingers, ice blades evaporated, light prisons shattered, Thunder Spears were annihilatedâall vanished in an instant.
Only the thorn cage surrounding him and Abel seemed to remain, though it too was poised to be torn apart by the unstoppable giant claw.
Off in the distance, Anatoli and others held their breath, realizing the terror of Tandin now that he showed his hand.
Especially Anatoli, who once faced Tandin from at most a disadvantageous position.
Now, he feared he had no power to resist.
Even if they werenât the target, the more than fifty x-level life forms present felt as though something was lodged in their throats, parched and speechless.
"The gap... is this wide?" Anduinâs face was full of bitterness when a sudden darkness fell over his vision.
The bitterness turned to shock when he saw a figure stand before him.
BOOM!
Soundlessly, the giant claw closed and then violently erupted with intense light, black flames dissipated in all directions.
However, it didnât seem like it was meant to obliterate everything, as some of the dissipated flames even affected the Empire Mother Starâs outer fleet.
A fierce reaction took place on the energy shield, which might have burned through if Alvarez hadnât intervened to extinguish them.
Tandinâs eternally unemotional face finally held a hint of doubt and uncertainty as he waved his hand, the black flames returning like countless birds to a nest.
At the center of the scene stood a Mechanical Body before Anduin and Abel, exquisite and splendid.
"Anduin is unharmed?" Altori and others stared in disbelief, while those witnessing the scene were even more shocked.
When Tandin made his move, he held nothing back, with a terrifying energy level likely no less than 4000X, or even higherâa truly frightening number.
By all logic, Anduin should have been left with no chance of survival.
"Itâs that Mechanical Body..." Anatoli reacted first, fixating on the Mechanical Body standing protectively before the two.
The Mechanical Body, initially unremarkable, always stood behind Abel, apparent to all that it was made of x mechanical liquid, though none took note.
But now, upon closer examination, it seemed entirely different, originally a rather noteworthy alloy material.
Now, it appeared to be thousands of times more solid, the metallic armor seemed seamlessly dense, devoid of any molecular gaps.
