Shen Nian’s desk mate whispered to him enviously.

Teenage boys, fearless and bold, many of them didn’t even care that the troupe leader was present and rushed over to Gu Shengyin with a whoosh.

She gently held Shen Nian’s hand, “Your classmates were just joking.”

To be honest, when Shen Nian’s classmates greeted her, she was actually very happy.

Because of Shen Nian’s past experiences, she always feared it would affect his personality and cause him to not fit in at his new school.

But it seems now that Shen Nian has adapted very well to the new school.

Shen Nian kept his head down and said nothing.

He, of course, knew those people were just joking. They should be thankful it was just a joke, or else…

But even if it was just a joke, hearing those words still made him uncomfortable.

He regretted not stopping his sister from coming to the school.

He should have realized that with a sister as wonderful as hers, there’d be no one who wouldn’t like her upon meeting her.

He wanted to hide such a wonderful sister, not giving anyone a chance to touch her.

Shen Nian smiled a bit shyly, “It’s your first time at our school, sister. I’m just thinking about where to take you around later.”

So that’s it. Gu Shengyin said casually, “Let’s just walk around. There are so many people today, probably can’t look around properly anyway.”
