Three Grandmasters! Yet, in front of Lin Mu, they were instantly killed without even a chance to fight back. Everyone else was stunned. It was too terrifying, too frightening!
"Is this the best you could find?" Lin Mu said, shaking his head. "Hardly impressive."
"Mr. Lin, you..." Feng Chenâs eyes flashed with horror as he stared at the three corpses of the Grandmasters on the ground.
"Master Lin, you must leave at once! Youâve killed Elders of Hongmen! They will never let you go!" Feng Chen trembled uncontrollably, his fear of the Hongmen organization palpable.
"If I were afraid, I wouldnât have come," Lin Mu snorted, his gaze suddenly shifting toward the door.
On the horizon, a powerful aura flared to life and rushed toward them.
"This is bad!" Feng Chen screamed. "It must be an expert from Hongmen!"
The aura drew nearer with incredible speed, arriving above the clubhouse in a matter of moments.
"Who dares kill a member of my Hongmen?! Come out and face your death!" The voice boomed like a thunderbolt, shattering the clouds above Harbor Island.
"Hahaha, Lin Mu, youâre doomed!" Huang Zhenhaoâs eyes gleamed with pure ecstasy. "The one who has come is the Deputy Sect Leader of Hongmen, Zhang Yaoâah!"
Before Huang Zhenhao could finish, he saw Lin Mu simply wave his hand. An ancient longsword shot out.
SWOOSH!
As the Dragon Tamer emerged, darkness fell over the heavens and the earth. Thunderbolts converged in the sky above Harbor Island, and a bright Sword Shadow flitted through the clouds, accompanied by furious roars and howls.
"Itâs a Flying Sword!" a terrified voice cried out from above.
An instant later, a severed arm plummeted from the sky as a bloodied figure fled toward the horizon.
ROAR!
An enraged dragonâs cry echoed through the heavens, ready to give chase.
"Return," Lin Mu commanded.
In the next moment, the Dragon Tamer flew back into its sheath and hovered beside him.
"You were fast enough to escape," Lin Mu muttered. "Next time we meet, I will surely take your life."
A look of utter shock filled Feng Chenâs eyes. With a single sword, Lin Mu had not only scared off a Grandmaster but had even severed his arm.
This time, Huang Zhenhao and the others fell into complete despair.
"Alright," Lin Mu said, turning his gaze to Huang Zhenhao. "Now itâs time to settle our accounts."
"No!" Huang Zhenhao cried out, his face pale with terror. "Master Lin, spare me! Iâll give you any amount of money you want!"
"Yes, yes! Weâll give you money! Please donât kill us!" the others shouted, dropping to their knees and begging for their lives.
But Lin Mu couldnât be bothered with their pleas. A flash of sword light swept out, slaughtering everyone except Huang Zhenhao.
"Do you know why I saved you for last?" Lin Mu asked with a smile, looking at the ashen-faced Huang Zhenhao. "Because I promised him that he could personally take your life."
Lin Mu sat back down in his chair. "Begin."
He left Huang Zhenhao to Huang Sheng.
"Thank you, Senior!" Huang Sheng trembled with excitement. He picked up a steel knife from the floor and slowly advanced on Huang Zhenhao.
"Huang Sheng, what are you doing?!" Huang Zhenhaoâs expression twisted, his face pale. "Iâm your father! Do you dare to commit patricide?!"
"I am no longer a part of the Huang Family. We severed our father-son relationship long ago. Do you really think that matters now?" Huang Shengâs face was a mask of vengeful, murderous intent. "I have not forgotten a single thing you did to my mother! I remember it every single day!"
"No!" Huang Zhenhao pleaded, his face full of horror. "Son, listen to my explanation! I was forced to do it back then..."
SQUELCH!
With a single motion, Huang Sheng brought the knife down, severing one of Huang Zhenhaoâs arms.
"Forced?" Huang Sheng shrieked. "Were you also forced to humiliate my mother?"
With another brutal slash, one of Huang Zhenhaoâs legs was hacked off. He let out a piercing scream, like a pig at the slaughter.
"Son, spare me! Iâll make you the Huang Family Head! Iâll apologize to you, Iâll apologize to your mother!" Tears streamed down Huang Zhenhaoâs face as he kowtowed desperately. "Iâm sorry! I wronged both of you! I know I was wrong now, please, just let me live!"
"Is an apology of any use now?" Huang Sheng growled, hacking off Huang Zhenhaoâs other leg. "My mother is dead! Your apologies are worthless!"
Huang Shengâs expression was unrelenting. His only thought was to torment Huang Zhenhao. He wanted this man to die.
"No!" Huang Zhenhao shrieked, clawing his way toward the door with his one remaining hand, leaving a thick trail of blood on the floor.
The onlookers watched in terrified silence, not daring to utter a sound.
"When you publicly humiliated my mother and recorded it, driving her to die in shame, did you ever imagine this day would come?!" Another slash landed on Huang Zhenhaoâs back.
"When you disfigured my face and tried to kill me, did you feel any fatherly love then?!"
Slash after slash fell upon him.
"You sent that video to my maternal grandfather, driving him to his death from rage, and then you stole his fortune! Do you have any humanity at all?!"
By now, Huang Zhenhao was just a mutilated corpse, but Huang Sheng did not stop.
Feng Chen watched, sighing inwardly.
Of course, I was aware of all this.
Huang Zhenhaoâs cruelty had been absolute, utterly inhumane. He not only caused Lady Cuiâs death but also destroyed her reputation afterward. Such behavior was worse than that of a beast.
"Thatâs enough," Lin Mu said flatly, observing Huang Shengâs state. "Heâs already dead."
Only then did Huang Sheng finally stop. He looked down at what was left of Huang Zhenhao, a bloody mess mangled beyond human recognition. The steel knife fell from his hand, and he collapsed to the floor as if every last ounce of his strength had vanished.
Lin Mu shook his head.
This Huang Sheng was sustained solely by the resentment in his heart. Otherwise, he would have collapsed long ago. Even with my help, he doesnât have many years left to live.
Cui Yingying, of course, already knew this.
"Clean this up," Lin Mu said, standing and walking toward the exit. "As for the Huang Familyâs assets, handle them as you see fit."
As Lin Mu left, Huang Ning, who was still on the floor, suddenly burst into tears. "Thank you, thank you for not killâ"
Her words were cut short as her body instantly exploded into a mist of blood.
"A venomous woman like you is a waste of the worldâs resources," a detached voice drifted back. "Itâs better you find release from your misery."
By then, Lin Mu was already gone.
"Thank you, Senior! Thank you!" Huang Sheng kowtowed three times in the direction Lin Mu had disappeared. He then stood up and turned to Feng Chen. "Master Feng, I wish to donate all of the Huang Familyâs assets. I hope you can assist me with this."
In his current state, Huang Sheng could indeed do nothing more.
Feng Chen let out a long sigh. "Very well. I will make the donations in your and your motherâs names."
"No," Huang Sheng said. "Please donate everything in my maternal grandfatherâs and my motherâs names. As for me..." A smile of pure relief spread across his face.
Iâve done what I needed to do. This life is without regrets.
And so, the Huang Family of Harbor Island was officially annihilated.
