"Donât forget, Iâm the master, and youâre the pet. Even with an equal contract, youâre still the one getting the better deal."
"Master? Big Brother? Please, make a pact with me."
Jiang Yunnuan put on an incredibly affected, high-pitched voice, shamelessly wheedling him to form the contract.
âAs long as I can form this contract, just acting cute is nothing. Iâd even be willing to lick him if thatâs what it takesâitâs all negotiable.â
Her deliberately high-pitched voice actually sounded even more pleasant, sending a tingle through Yan Chenâs ears and making his heart skip a beat.
His throat bobbed. He cupped her face and kissed her again.
"Please me. As long as you can make me happy, Iâll grant your wish."
Hearing this, Jiang Yunnuanâs eyes widened in surprise. âSo the Systemâs advice was actually legit?â
âSo all I really have to do is ask nicely and I can form a contract with this Ultimate Venerable Powerhouse?â
âWhat am I waiting for, then?â
Snapping back to her senses, she let a smile play on her lips. Her fingers slid gently across the nape of his neck as she continued to whisper in his ear in that same, deliberately affected voice.
"So, are you easy to please, Big Brother? Since Iâm being so sincere, can you go easy on me?"
Though her voice was affected, to his ears, it was nothing but cloying sweetness, and his mood improved in spite of himself.
He took her hand, brought it to his lips for a soft kiss, and asked, "How do you want me to go easy on you?"
"It means that as long as I make the attempt, you have to give me a pass, regardless of whether it meets your expectations or actually pleases you, Big Brother."
Yan Chen: "..."
âLittle pet. Sheâs gotten addicted to calling me Big Brother.â
âBut I have to admit, the way she says âBig Brotherâ sounds so damn good!â
He narrowed his eyes and the corners of his lips curled up. "No," he said softly. "Letâs postpone this matter for a few days."
âIf I let my little pet keep teasing me like this, I really wonât be able to hold back.â
âBut... this body of mine is so hideous right now. Itâs not suitable for... that. I donât want to leave her with a bad memory.â
âI just need to wait a few more days. Once the residual power of the Destructive Divine Thunder is eliminated, my body will return to its perfect state.â
âAnd then, my little pet will belong to me completely!â
"Huh? Why? Fine, you donât have to go easy on me then! You canât go back on what you promised. Iâll take action right now, and you canât deliberately make things difficult for me. As long as youâre pleased, you have to form the contract with me."
Jiang Yunnuan had been lost in a daydream about her Superpower being unsealed after forming the contract, but his words abruptly snapped her out of it, like a bucket of cold water to the face.
Her heart seized in panic. She rushed to salvage the situation, her voice so urgent that she forgot to keep it sweet and affected.
"Itâs not up for discussion!"
His refusal was firm. Jiang Yunnuan glared at him, her eyes blazing with fury, and silently cursed him hundreds of times over.
âThat two-faced bastard! I wracked my brain trying to please him, and it was all for nothing in the end.â
âSigh... if only another target would just fall from the sky. Preferably one with a Cultivation level just as high as this guyâs.â
Perhaps the heavens heard her silent plea, because her dream was about to come true.

ăThe Care Center.ă
Not long after Fu Yuan and Jiang Yunnuan left the scene, the Barrier dissipated.
Soon, the underage girls lying all over the ground, heavily injured and unconscious, were discovered. The police were called and arrived quickly, beginning their investigation as the victims received medical treatment.
More than twenty girls had been injured at once, and several of them came from noble families with powerful backgrounds.
This was, without a doubt, a major case, and the police gave it their highest priority.
After verifying the identities of all the victims, they began investigating the scene. Unfortunately, it had been wiped completely clean, without a single trace left behind.
With the crime scene yielding no leads, the police split up. One team reviewed surveillance footage while the other searched for eyewitnesses.
They worked on this for two full days, but still made no progress.
No suspicious individuals were found on the surveillance footage, and though they located a few eyewitnesses, they couldnât get any useful information out of them.
Left with no other choice, the police decided to examine the victimsâ memories.
Upon examination, they discovered that all the victimsâ memories had been tampered with. The memories contained the assault itself, but not a single identifying feature of the culpritâthey couldnât even tell if the person was male or female.
The investigation stalled, reaching an impasse.
Just then, the victimsâ families began to arrive after being notified. It was only then that the police discovered that among the victims was the younger sister of Admiral Feng.
This Admiral Feng was not only young but also the leader of the Feather Clan. He was the Empireâs youngest admiral, commander of the formidable Ninth Legion, and his Cultivation was said to be unfathomably deep.
The man wore a crisp military uniform, accentuating his tall, long-legged frame. His hair was as red as fire, a flame-shaped mark rested between his brows, and his features were flamboyantly beautifulâso handsome it was almost excessive.
The moment he appeared, the police respectfully hurried over and immediately began to brief him on the case.
"Admiral Feng, the culprit has a high level of Cultivation and is extremely experienced. Our initial theory is that they possess an Invisibility Skill..."
"They used the Invisibility Skill to perfectly evade all surveillance, then erected a Barrier to conceal their crime."
"Afterward, they wiped the scene of all traces and tampered with every victimâs memory."
"We attempted to restore the memories but were unsuccessful. From this, we deduce that the culprit must possess at least a Half-step Ultimate Venerable Cultivation."
"Although the case has not progressed, we do have a potential lead. Itâs highly unusual for more than twenty victims to be gathered in one place."
"The crime scene is in a remote, secluded location. To get them all to gather there, they must have either been participating in some secret activity or were lured there by an acquaintance. We plan to pursue this as our main line of inquiry."
After listening, Feng Qianyan asked in a low voice, "Where is Feng Yinyin?"
"Ah, Admiral Feng, I have some very bad news for you. I hope you can prepare yourself."
"What? Is she dead?"
Feng Qianyan frowned, his expression arrogant and impatient, as if he couldnât care less whether his sister lived or died.
The officer felt crushed by his powerful aura, almost struggling to breathe. Terrified, he quickly shook his head.
"No, not that. Miss Fengâs Cultivation has been crippled. And, and..."
The officer seemed at a loss for how to continue. Seeing this, Feng Qianyanâs frown deepened, and his irritation grew.
"And what? Spit it out."
"Er, it would be best if you saw for yourself, Admiral Feng."
In the end, the officer didnât dare to directly state that Feng Yinyinâs hair and eyebrows had been shaved off, that words had been written on her smooth, bald head, and that she had been stripped of all her clothes.
Feng Qianyan didnât press him. "Where is she? Take me there."
"This way, Admiral Feng."
After the victimsâ identities were confirmed, they were all placed in separate rooms to await the arrival of their families.
Under the provisions of the Protection Law, Feng Yinyin received the best medical care available. However, because her injuries were so severe and she had suffered a great shock, she still had not woken up even after two days.
