Not long after the negotiation between humans and dragons, the centuries-long war finally came to an official end.
Though Leon still had lingering thoughts about the mysterious "Shadow," he decided to cherish and enjoy the peaceful days that had come, however brief they might be. For now, he chose to set aside all worries, conspiracies, and chaos.
After all, the general was now back to his âforced retirementâ as a stay-at-home father.
*âNot that he chose retirement,â* he mused to himself, *âitâs more like being forcibly âlaid off.â"* Once the Empire's most formidable dragon slayer, he was now technically âunemployedâ since the Empire was gone and the war was over.
*âWhat could be more important?â*

While he couldnât exactly relax, as the Prince of the Silver Dragons, Leon still found himself locked in daily battles⊠but this time with Rosvisser instead of dragons.
The âlegendaryâ war between humans and dragons, as most saw it:
- Fierce, unyielding battles, with both sides locked in brutal combat for over a hundred years, finally ending after extensive losses on both sides.
The real âhuman-dragon war,â as Leon saw it:
- âYouâd better get your âhomeworkâ done twice tonight, or you wonât be getting any sleep!â Rosvisser had ordered.
It turned out that the phrase âidle hands, devilâs playgroundâ applied as much to dragons as it did to humansâespecially to a six-thousand-year-old dragon queen in her prime.
At dinner, Rosvisserâs appetite was minimal. After finishing, she rose gracefully, walked behind Leon, and placed her soft hands on his shoulders, whispering,
âDonât play with the girls too late. Come back to the room early.â
Everyone knew that dragons of the same kind shared a unique sense of âunderstanding.â Among them, there were all kinds of coded language.
For instance, in this case, âDonât play too late with the girlsâ meant⊠*I want you with me tonight.*
Leon paused mid-bite, glancing at her hand resting on his shoulder. He was still recovering, and the queen would likely be eager for a rematch. Tonight, if things âkicked off,â Leon knew heâd be at a disadvantage.
âUm⊠well, I need to help Noa practice magic tonight, right?â
âNo need, Dad. I want to practice on my own tonight.â
The diligent one, Noa, planned to train in elemental magic using the Night Spirit Crystal sheâd obtained, so she declined her fatherâs offer.
âThen⊠I still need to play the âDragon Knightâ game with Moon tomorrow,â Leon tried.
âDaddy, you just told Moon yesterday that we shouldnât play violent games like âDragon Knightâ anymore, and Moon always listens to you!â
Little Moon didnât understand that the war was over, but she knew to obey her father.
âUh⊠well⊠Auroraââ
âIf I refuse Dadâs request, it seems like tonight will be more fun, right?â Aurora didnât understand the adults' games, but she sensed from her fatherâs reaction that rejecting him might mean something interesting was going to happen somewhere else.
Seeing his âthree lifelinesâ slip away, Leon watched as Rosvisser leaned close and whispered in his ear, voice low and sultry,
âTrust me, my little lion, tonight youâll see exactly what you want.â
With that, Rosvisser gently patted Leonâs cheek and, after bidding goodnight to the girls, left the dining room with a purposeful stride in her heels.
Having wavered between âtodayâ and âtomorrowâ all night, Leon immediately changed his mind after hearing her words. She knew exactly what he wanted, and he knew that she knew. It was no secret to anyone what Leon wanted most.
Soâ
"Alright then, Noa, focus on your magic practice; Moon, think up some new games; and Aurora, donât feel any pressure about refusing your dad tonight. And most importantly, none of you come looking for me tonight!â
The young dragons watched, bemused, as their father dashed out of the dining room, his speed almost abandoning the use of magic altogether.
Aurora blinked, then chuckled to herself, âWhat a childish adult.â
Noa looked at her younger sister in surprise. âYou think adults can be childish too?â
âOf course!â
âHow do you figure?â
âI never had any guilt about refusing Dad in the first place!â Aurora said with pride, flicking her tail.
âOh⊠thatâs what you meant.â
With that, Noa climbed off her chair. âIâm heading to the practice room, and I might be late. Donât wait up for me.â
âOkay, sis~â Moon called after her, watching her leave.
But Aurora narrowed her eyes, watching her eldest sisterâs back until she disappeared around the corner.
âHey, Aurora, letâs think of a new game together!â Moon suggested.
Aurora thought for a moment and then replied, âNo need to think, sisâI know exactly what weâre playing tonight.â
Leon returned to his room and entered the bedroom, finding Rosvisser lying on the bed. She was wrapped up snugly in the covers, only her upper half visible from the knees up.
âRosvisser, whatâs going on here?â
âIâm not feeling well,â she murmured, attempting a weak tone that she wasnât very good at.
âBut you were full of energy just five minutes ago.â
âWell, now Iâm sick! Come here and feel my foreheadâitâs burning.â
Leonâs playful expression faded. He walked quickly to the bed, crouched beside her, and pressed a hand to her forehead.
âIt doesnât seem hot at all.â
âI didnât say it was my forehead that was hot.â
âThen whatâ?â
Before he could finish, Rosvisserâs hand slipped out from under the covers, resting gently on the back of his hand.
Leon glanced down, and his gaze was instantly captivated.
Her hands were always beautifulâslender, delicate, and graceful. Heâd grown used to seeing them that way. But this time, there was something different: a piece of decoration on her wrist.
It looked like a bracelet, but much more intricate.
Before Leon could fully process her intention, she gently tugged his hand further under the covers.
A wave of warmth enveloped Leonâs hand, but this heat didnât feel like a feverish temperatureâit was warmer, comforting, and somehow inviting.
âWhatâs this, Dragon Queen? I thought you promised me something good to see. But pretending to be sickâŠ?â
Rosvisser bit her lip, a playful gleam in her eye. âDonât be hasty. Keep going⊠a little furtherâŠâ
She led Leonâs hand deeper under the blanket.
Suddenly, Leonâs fingers felt an unusual texture.
Given the location, it seemed that his hand had found her thigh. But Leon was familiar with her skinâsmooth, softâyet this was different.
The sensation was more like a thin layer of silk, clinging to her thigh, allowing him to feel her warmth through it.
âTell me, what are you touching?â
âUm⊠your tights?â
Rosvisser rolled her eyes in mock annoyance, âLet me give you a hintâitâs a type of stocking.â
âStocking?â Leon licked his lips, realizing what he was touching.
âCould it be⊠black stockings?â
Rosvisserâs eyes sparkled, her smile seductive. âCorrect, my little lion, correct.â
With that, she pulled the blanket up a bit more.
First, she revealed her delicate, beautifully shaped feet, her toes wiggling slightly beneath the black stockings, charming and enticing.
Then, her rounded ankles, slender calves, and perfectly toned thighs came into view, all wrapped in sheer black stockings. Her pale skin peeked through, the tight fabric enhancing her legâs curves like an artwork.
The blanket stopped just above her upper thighs.
Rosvisser reached out, gently lifting Leonâs chin to meet his gaze.
âIf you want to see more, youâll have to agree to my condition,â she murmured.
âWhat is it?â
Her lips parted in a sultry smile, her eyes deep and entrancing.
âUntil the sun rises on the third day⊠donât~ stop~ once.â
