âThe Primordial Dragon King⊠wants to speak with us?â
Rosvisserâs voice carried a mix of disbelief and awe.
As the Queen of the Silver Dragons, she held the same deep reverence and respect for Noah as any other dragon.
To dragons, Noah was an unparalleled, sacred figure. Even speaking her name was an act of solemnity that commanded reverence.
The thought of their ancestor, the legendary Primordial Dragon King, actively reaching out to converse with them left Rosvisser feeling both honored and nervous.
She exchanged a glance with Leon, who nodded slightly. Rosvisser then said,
âVery well. What should we do?â
Noa shook her head gently. âYou donât need to do anything, Mom. Sheâll temporarily take over my body, but Iâll still be able to hear your conversation.â
Leonâs brows furrowed, his voice turning serious. âTake over your body⊠You mean she can control you at will now?â
His concern was immediate. Even after Noaâs explanation, his first instinct was to worry about his daughterâs safety.
Noa quickly reassured him, âNo, Dad, itâs not like that. She always asks for my permission first and would never do anything inappropriate or harmful without my consent.â
Leonâs tense expression softened slightly. âAlright, if you say so.â
âGood. Then Iâll let her speak with you now,â Noa said as she slowly closed her eyes.
Leon and Rosvisser watched intently, their attention unwavering.
Despite Noaâs assurances that the process wasnât dangerous, the sight of their daughter being temporarily overtaken by a thousand-year-old soul was nerve-wracking. At the same time, they were about to meet the legendary Primordial Dragon King, a figure etched into dragon history as both myth and reality.
As Noa stood there, a white aura began to swirl around her, lifting the hem of her dress and gently ruffling her hair.
Rosvisser noticed immediatelyâthe aura was unmistakably the Primordial Force.
Compared to her own painstakingly refined Primordial Force, what emanated from Noa was purer, more intense.
The aura receded as quickly as it appeared, and Noaâs body stilled. When her eyes opened, faint white markings adorned her eyelids, and her presence exuded an overwhelming regal aura.
Her small frame hadnât changed, but the kingly demeanor of a dragon sovereign radiated from her.
Leonâs gaze fell to her tail, the tip of which now glowed faintly white.
âThe Primordial Dragon King⊠NoahâŠâ
Rosvisser was overwhelmed.
To any dragon, Noah was a towering monument of history. She represented the pinnacle of power and wisdom, a guiding star for every dragonâs path in life.
âIn the old days,â Noah said, her voice calm but commanding, âany Dragon King who met me would kneel in reverence.â
Leon and Rosvisser exchanged uneasy glances.
âKneeling seems⊠a bit much,â Leon ventured cautiously.
âIâm joking,â Noah said with a wry smile. âIâm a rather easygoing dragon, actually.â
Rosvisser let out a breath of relief but remained unsure of what to say. She glanced at Leon for guidance.
Leon, meanwhile, studied the transformed Noa carefully. After a pause, he asked,
âPrimordial Dragon King, what do you wish to discuss with us?â
His tone was steadyâneither overly deferential nor dismissive. It was the measured demeanor of a family head addressing a guest, albeit a very important one.
Leonâs attitude wasnât born of arrogance but of his duty as a father. As far as he was concerned, Noahâs current existence in his daughterâs consciousness made her presence a potential risk.
He needed to maintain a balance of respect without yielding his authority.
âWell, well,â Noah said with a chuckle. âYouâre the third person to speak to me so casually.â
Leon blinked. âThe third? Who were the first two?â
Noah held up her thumb, pointing to herself. âThe first is your eldest daughter here.â
âAnd the second?â
âYour pink-haired daughter.â
Leon & Rosvisser: âŠ
âSo,â Leon said dryly, âbasically, everyone in this house except for me and my wife already knows about your existence?â
âPretty much,â Noah replied nonchalantly. âThat little pink-haired menace was so persistent I decided it was easier to tell her. And the little tuft-haired one found out because she wouldnât stop poking around.â
âMuse doesnât know?â Rosvisser asked, surprised.
âNo, not yet.â
If the situation hadnât been so serious, the couple might have exchanged a victorious high-five:
Yes! Once again, weâre the last to know the family secret!
âAnyway,â Noah continued, her tone shifting to a more serious one, âI canât stay in this body for too longâitâll tire her out. So Iâll get straight to the point.â
The couple nodded, giving her their full attention.
âFirst,â Noah began, âthat crystal your father used to sense meâwhere did it come from?â
Leon answered, âIt was given to me by the Tower Master of Sky City.â
âTower Master? Whoâs that?â
Rosvisser explained the Tower Masterâs history and his motivations for building Sky City.
âI see,â Noah said thoughtfully. âA rare soul driven by compassion. And if he knows this much about me, he must also know about the Ultimate Fear, correct?â
âYes. He provided most of the information we have about it,â Leon confirmed.
âGood,â Noah said. âThousands of years ago, I expended all my power to seal the Ultimate Fear. But with the chaos and unrest in the world today, the negative emotions that feed it are surging. Its followers are actively spreading these emotions, accelerating their masterâs return.â
âI was meant to awaken several years from now, but because of Konstantinâs interference, my soul was forced to seek refuge in your daughterâs consciousness. I am using her body to gather the strength I need to recover.â
âFortunately, we still have time to prepare,â Noah added. âThe Ultimate Fearâs return isnât imminent, but itâs inevitable.â
She turned to Rosvisser.
âQueen of the Silver Dragons,â she addressed her.
âYes, Ancestor?â Rosvisser replied, her voice steady but respectful.
âYour clan didnât exist in my time. Youâre a recent addition to dragonkind, arenât you?â
âYes, our founder established the Silver Dragon tribe about three thousand years ago.â
âAnd youâre the second ruler?â
âYes.â
âYou look youngâbarely three hundred years old?â
âJust over two hundred,â Rosvisser corrected.
Noah smiled. âTo achieve so much at such a young ageâmastering even a portion of the Primordial Forceâyouâre an exceptional successor.â
âThank you, Ancestor,â Rosvisser said with a modest nod.
âHowever,â Noah continued, her tone sharpening, âyour Primordial Force is impure. When I took over this body, I allowed some of my force to spill out. You must have felt the difference, didnât you?â
Rosvisser hesitated, then nodded. âYes, Ancestor. The difference is⊠significant.â
âIâll teach you how to refine a purer form of the Primordial Force and introduce you to other Primordial spells beyond Soul Judgement. Weâll need every advantage against the Ultimate Fear.â
âThank you, Ancestor,â Rosvisser said, bowing her head.
Noah turned to Leon.
âLeon Cosmod, Iâve watched many of your battles from this childâs consciousness. Youâre formidable, almost unparalleled among Dragon Kings. But even you have weaknesses.â
Leon raised an eyebrow. âWeaknesses? Please, enlighten me.â
âYou rely too much on overwhelming power,â Noah explained. âYour techniques are all about brute force and destruction. While effective, it leaves you vulnerable against an opponent like the Ultimate Fear.â
âWhat do you suggest?â
âYou need to temper your strength, make it more controlled,â Noah said, demonstrating by interlocking her fingers tightly. âInternalize your power. Refine it. Only then will you stand a chance.â
Leon stared at his hand, repeating softly, âInternalize my powerâŠâ
