“If he lives, I live; if he dies, I die!” Ke’er’s voice was filled with determination. She did not even hesitate when she said those words, causing Yun Qing Yan’s expression to change drastically.

“Cousin, you... you...” Yun Qing Yang looked at Ke’er, speechless. Rage had consumed him, and he found it difficult to talk.

The air before Yun Qing Yang trembled violently.

The void shook for some time, and a mirror image appeared before Yun Qing Yan, Duan Ling Tian, and Ke’er.

Duan Ling Tian and Ke’er’s expressions changed drastically when they saw the content of the mirror image.

His attention was solely focused on the mirror image before him that displayed his parents, his wife, Li Fei, and his son, Duan Nian Tian. He could also see his senior brother, Bai Li Hong, his soon-to-be father-in-law, Feng Wu Dao, and his other friends.

Duan Ling Tian saw his family and friends being imprisoned in a cramped and ice-cold room. They looked listless as though they had lost their souls. Nevertheless, his family and friends could not hear him regardless of how loud he shouted.

It did not take long before the mirror image shifted to a different scene of another group being imprisoned in a small room, causing another drastic change in Duan Ling Tian’s expression.

“Senior Uncle Prophet?”

“Si Ling!”

All his close friends who were supposed to be in the temporary estate of the Seven Absolutes Sect in the northern region of the Upper Province had been imprisoned with the exception of Zhang Yi from Yan Huang Realm!

“Si Ling!” Ke’er cried out when she saw her daughter, Duan Si Ling. Her expression further darkened. “Yun Qing Yan, if you touch even a single hair on my daughter’s head, I’ll kill you!” She looked murderous as she spoke to Yun Qing Yang, as though she wanted to tear him into a thousand pieces!

When Yun Qing Yan heard Ke’er’s words, his face darkened. However, he continued to ignore Ke’er. His eyes fell on the heavily-wounded Duan Ling Tian who was lying by his feet. He said coldly, “Duan Ling Tian, do you know where they are? I don’t think you’ll believe me even if I tell you. They are, quite literally, in my hands!” As soon as he finished speaking, he moved his hand.

Duan Ling Tian saw something appearing in Yun Qing Yang’s hand. His eyes widened in shock and disbelief. A small prison that looked similar to the prison shown in the mirror image had appeared in Yun Qing Yang’s hand.

“This is a peak Celestial Weapon I stumbled upon when I was roaming the Devata Realm many years ago... This is a spatial Celestial Weapon. It’s capable of containing all life forms. I’ve turned it into a prison on a whim, but it seems like it has come in handy now,” Yun Qing Yang said flippantly as though he was speaking of something trivial as he shook the Celestial Weapon in his hand.

My family, my friends... They’re all kept in there?” Duan Ling Tian asked in a hoarse voice as he looked at Yun Qing Yang coldly.

“That’s right,” Yun Qing Yang said nonchalantly, “They’re being held in this spatial Celestial Weapon that I made. All it takes is a mere thought to turn all of them into dust!”

Duan Ling Tian’s face was pale as he spat out, “Despicable!” He did not expect Yun Qing Yang would resort to this tactic. Yun Qing Yan was from the Devata Realms and was likely not inferior to a Great Overarching Golden Celestial, and yet, someone like that stooped so low as to hold his family and friends hostage just to threaten him.

“Yun Qing Yan!” Ke’er cried out again, “Leave them out of this! This is too much!”

At this moment, Yun Qing Yang finally turned to look at Ke’er. He took his time as he said, “Cousin. I don’t think there’s anything outrageous about this... Didn’t you refuse to leave with me? Didn’t you want to die with him? You even said you’ll die along with this vermin. I don’t want you to die so I don’t dare to kill him. And if he doesn’t die, you won’t leave with me. Duan Ling Tian and Ke’er’s expressions were extremely grave upon hearing this.

“Yun Qing Yan, you call yourself a Celestial from the Devata Realm... You should just come at me if you want to kill me! You’re despicable! How dare you use my family to threaten me when you think I’m nothing more than vermin? If heaven wants you dead, none of you can escape!” As soon as he finished speaking, one of the people in the small room, as seen from the mirror image, suddenly exploded into a blood mist.

The room was dyed red from blood.

Duan Ling Tian cried out in horror, “Gold Thug!” The person who was killed by Yun Qing Yan with just a thought was a loyal servant of his. He was the Golden Hellhound, Jin Sha. He had ordered Gold Thug to stay with his father in the Azure Cloud Mansion. His father was the Mansion Master of Azure Cloud Mansion, Duan Ru Feng.

Although Duan Ling Tian had not seen Gold Thug for a long time, he had treated Gold Thug as one of his own. He felt anger rise in him upon watching Gold Thug die. His eyes were so cold at this moment that it seemed as though he could freeze everything he laid his eyes on.

In the next moment, the image on the screen shifted.

“I told you, before vermin like you, I am heaven!”

The instant Yun Qing Yan’s voice reached his ears, Duan Ling Tian’s expression changed drastically again. This was because another person imprisoned in that small room was killed again.

“Xiong Quan!” The person whom Yun Qing Yang killed was Xiong Quan who had followed Duan Ling Tian for a long time.
