Chapter 1127: Bring The Kids In

I felt a little annoyed that the executive of that illegal slaver group somehow managed to escape despite how we were ready to capture him and bash his face in.

Also, what kind of magic is that? For him to even be able to just disappear like that while he was completely surrounded... Was that supposed to be an even higher tier of Astromancy which I was unable to learn yet?

But he didn’t have Astromancy magic... An artefact, maybe?

Unfortunately, none of my questions were getting answered here anyway so we were left with just pure speculations right now.

Well... At least I’ve seen his face so if I really need to, I still have my Ring of Searching that could point me in the direction of where he is. The only problem is that the ring could point me to the other side of the World and I wouldn’t even know he was that far while I’m chasing him...

I let out a sigh, "Katsuki... Do you know where Carrey is?"

She bowed her head, "Should I go find her, Mistress?"

"Just let her know we’re going back to the manor already and we got the kids."

She bowed her head before disappearing, leaving the rest of us to wait for the knights to arrive after we rounded up everyone else.

Both the slavers and the slaves will be put under their custody and the kids will also be investigated to check where they had originated from and return them to their homes.

Right now, they were busy munching on the food that Katsuki had prepared for them ravenously like they hadn’t eaten for ages, making me wonder if these illegal slavers had also intentionally starved them to get them to be compliant.

Just the thought of that was making me regret not punching that executive guy from earlier in the face...

Right then, Tom came over to me while still hugging some pieces of bread in his arms.

"Umm... Big... Big sister?"

I leaned down to smile at him, "What is it, Tom?"

"I... Umm... Thank... Thank you... I didn’t want to come here... But they told me they would burn our home down if I didn’t..."

Burn Srii’s temple? Are these people insane? I doubt even she would keep quiet about that, would she?

And even if she might, I don’t think these guys would be willing to risk testing that out anyway so I’m pretty sure they were only just saying that to threaten Tom but had no intentions of actually carrying out the threat.

I reached out and patted his head, "It’s not a problem Tom. I already said that I will help all of you, didn’t I? So you can trust that I will~"

He nodded, though he quickly averted his gaze from me.

Awww~ He’s shy~ So cute~

I then pointed at the bread he was holding, "Are you not going to eat those though? They are meant for you to eat, you know?"

He jumped a little from surprise before looking down at the bread, "Ah... Umm... I... I was thinking about bringing these back for the others... Since they need it more than I do... I’m just fine with a small bite..."

I giggled, "Ehehehe~ There’s no need to worry. I’ll make sure that there’s enough for both you and the other kids back at the temple~ There’s no need for you to worry anymore once the caretaker arrives, alright? You don’t need to sacrifice so much for everyone else after this~"

His face immediately lit up, "Rea... Really?! Does... Does that mean everyone will have enough to eat from now on? I... I don’t have to do bad things anymore?"

"Fufufu~ That’s right, that’s right~"

"Tha... Thank you, big sister!!"

"Now go on, don’t let your food get cold, ok? My Katsuki prepared all this for you so don’t waste it~"

"Yes, big sister!"

Tom then ran back to the other kids and started wolfing down his portion of the food as well.

Without warning, Odeta suddenly appeared to pick me up in a hug from behind.

"Sister Asteeeerrr!! I’m sorry I wasn’t strong enough to beat that guy!!"

"Eh? Eh? That’s not true, isn’t it?"

She spun me around to face her while still holding me up, "You don’t need to comfort me, Sister Aster! If I had just been even stronger, I would have been able to knock him down right away! Yet he beat us and ran away!"

I smiled and held her cheeks with my hands, "You’re so cute, Odeta~ Isn’t the fact that he ran away proof that you actually beat him so badly that he had to escape?"

Odeta paused before her face brightened up, "Oh! You’re right! Wahahahaha! That means I didn’t lose after all!"

I gave her a kiss on her lips, "Mmm~ That’s right. My Odeta is the strongest isn’t it? How could you have lost when that guy chose to run away?"

"Ngghh... That’s not fair, Sister Aster... If you do something like this... I would want more..."

"Ehehehe~ What might my Odeta want, I wonder? Perhaps... Something like this?"

I wrapped my arms around the back of her head and pulled her towards me to give her a deeper kiss, pushing my tongue past her lips and entwining my tongue with hers.

She returned my kiss with just as much enthusiasm, though she was careful with her grip to make sure she didn’t hug me too tightly.

When our lips parted, there was still a bridge of saliva in between our lips, the bridge maintaining its form for a moment before it broke as we moved further apart.

I grinned at her, "How is that?"

"Unnggh... More, Sister Aster..."

Before she could move closer to me again though, Lisa appeared and placed her hand in between our faces.

"Hoooold it right there! What are the two of you doing right now?!"

Odeta turned to frown at Lisa, "What do you mean? We’re kissing right now, can’t you tell?"

"That’s exactly what I’m talking about?! Out in public?! In front of everyone else?!"

Ah... Right... I almost forgot... But I believe in this World kissing is regarded as much more intimate so doing it in public is like having public sex in my old World right?

And to think Lisa was the one who stopped us before we got--

"How lewd! How can you not invite me to do it too! Come on, Aster! Kiss me! I’m ready! Kiss kiss kiss!" Lisa begged, my Infrid lover puckering up her lips while stretching out her arms towards me invitingly.

I should have expected that...

Well... I made Odeta set me back down and gave a peck on Lisa’s lips for that before backing away.

"Sorry~ You’ll have to be satisfied with that for now. We’ll do more later when we’re alone, ok?"

Lisa looked like she wanted to protest but the knights showed up at that moment so she nodded while pouting at me cutely.

The knights went over to Unerolia who quickly organised them and gave them instructions on what to do so we didn’t really have to do anything.

But then she came over and smiled apologetically at me, "Umm... Aster? Could I ask for a favour?"

I tilted my head, "What is it? If you’re asking me to help you skip work, I’m going to have to tell Esmeral instead."

"Waaahh!! No, no! That’s not it! Umm... Seems like the kids are all scared of the knights right now and it’s already quite late so we’re planning on letting them stay in the city for now. I already booked an inn so... Could you and your girls guide them there?"

Oh, that’s all? That should be easy to do.

But then I remembered something else, "Err... The kids at Srii’s temple--"

All the girls around me moved their bodies instinctively but stopped before they actually jumped on me and relaxed again.

"Ahem... The kids at the temple are waiting for Tom though. So if he doesn’t show up there, they might get worried. And I don’t really want to leave them unsupervised either."

Unerolia waved her hand, "Oh that’s just a simple problem to solve~ You can just go and get the kids at the temple and move them to the inn as well, Aster~"

Oh, that’s a good idea! We shouldn’t be letting them stay in such a place in the first place anyway!

I nodded at her, "I’ll do that."

"Great! Then I’ll leave the kids to you! Don’t be late coming back, ok? I have sooooo many things I want to do to you~"

She then ran off without waiting for an answer and I just realised that she’s most likely doing this because she didn’t want to deal with kids...

Then again, I guess I don’t really expect her to be the nurturing kind considering what she usually does on a daily basis...

I still have not forgotten about the fact that Odeta and Unerolia want to spar with each other too...

Oh well...

I guess my girls can go ahead and lead these children to the inn that Sister Rolia had set aside for them while I’ll just head to the temple to get the other kids there as well.

I’m still worried about that executive guy but I guess aside from torturing these slavers and getting information about their group from them, there’s not much else we can do right now anyway.

These guys should at least be able to tell us some things we can use, right?
