Chapter 1166: Remember To Praise Your Maid

"Err... Hypothetically... What would happen if the prime minister’s son ran into you and fell over?" I asked.

Miyu blinked at me as though I had just asked her a really weird question, which I suppose in hindsight, it does sound pretty weird without context.

Thankfully, she humoured me by answering my question anyway, "Nothing should happen as long as you’re not trying to hurt him? That’s even assuming you meet him to begin with?"

"Right... Then is there any circumstance that might cause their bodyguard to try and attack you after he bumps into you?"

"That is... Oddly specific... But I don’t believe there would be a scenario like that unless you are planning to hurt him or you have hurt him?"

"What if he had hurt himself from bumping into you and then you healed him right afterwards?"

She narrowed her eyes at me, "Forgive me for asking but... Are you perhaps talking about yourself?"

"Whaaaat? Of course not. I’m just asking for a friend."

She stared at me with her narrowed eyes for a good minute before finally speaking again, "In that case, you can tell your friend that it’s best for them to just turn themselves in if they hurt the prime minister’s son."

Ok... I guess that’s the extent of what I can ask her without her getting suspicious... But I did learn that the fact this guy just outright attacked me for no reason was something that was not normal.

I had been concerned that the fact I used magic or even touched the boy would have been enough of a reason for him to kill me but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

So I should be safe from being persecuted, right?

Since there was still time left, I went to walk around the shopping district once again just to see if there was anything interesting that might catch my eye.

Unfortunately, nothing else seemed to stand out since most of the shops here were basically catering to the rich so they weren’t really selling anything practical for me.

I mean... I’m not about to buy some finely decorated furniture here... Especially since I still have several sets inside my Bangle of Folding that I can use anyway.

I was hoping that they might have a cafe or even a patisserie at the very least but there weren’t even any food stores here.

I highly doubt that the people living in the upper district would want to go to another district just to eat, which made me believe that they had an area specifically for selling food and it was not here.

Fine... I would have been happy to give you my money for the sweets you might be selling here but I guess you guys aren’t getting it after all.

I ended up just walking around until the time was almost up before I headed towards the meeting point again.

The others were already there so I was the last to arrive.

Not that I was late of course, it was them who were early.

Unexpectedly, both the futa couple and the Yoblin girl rushed up to me with a desperate look on their faces.

"You!! Where did you go?!"

"Why did you leave us?!"

"She’s not hard right now! Quick, get hard! Get hard!!"

What in the...

They seem like they are still hung up on what happened in the store? But I thought they would only be like that because of the store’s enchantment? So why are they acting like this even after they left?

"Wait, wait, calm down please... What’s wrong with all of you?" I asked.

The Yoblin glared at me like I just asked a really dumb question, "You can’t just run away after showing something like that to us and then not even letting us sample it!"

"No, no... You are not in the right mind right now.... Please calm down."

"Calm?! We are calm! You can calm us down after showing what’s underneath that skirt of yours!"

Ok... So here’s the thing... I’m not exactly interested in laying with some girls who are clearly out of their minds... But what can I do to wake them up?

Would a healing spell work? Maybe it’s a status effect that I can dispel?

Whatever, let me just try it first!

I raised my hand and pointed my palm at the Yoblin girl, "Return yourself to your pristine condition. Your body, mind and soul shall be renewed, may your ailments cease and disappear! [Cleanse]!"

Light enveloped the Yoblin and I was expecting her to wake up or something but she looked more annoyed than before.

"The only healing I need is for you to get that thing between your legs erect and show me what you have hidden under there!" She demanded.

Seriously, what the hell happened to you all?!

I looked at Miyu for help and she shrugged, "If you want to have a quickie before we leave, go ahead."

"No, no. I don’t want to. Can you stop them?"

She actually seemed surprised by my plea, "Eh? You’re not interested in them? I thought you already did it with them inside that store with how they were describing your thing!"

What the heck did you three even tell her?!

"I have no interest in doing it with them... I believe they got affected by that store’s enchantment or something so could you please--"

I didn’t get to finish my words before the sounds of three soft thumps emanated from their direction.

When Miyu and I turned to look, all three of them had collapsed on the ground, unconscious.

Errr... What happened? Did the enchantment short circuit their brains and caused them to faint ort something?

Well, either way, this works in my favour so I’m not going to complain.

"What happened?" Miyu asked.

"I guess they got too excited or something? But err... Should we get them out of here?"

Miyu grimaced, "Why does this have to happen on my shift... Wait here, I’ll go get the guards."

I watched her run over to the gates to call a few of the guards to get their attention.

Meanwhile, I went over to them to inspect the three of them to see if they were actually alright.

That was when I realised that all three of them seemed to have suffered blows to the back of their heads which must have been the reason why they had collapsed.

Someone had struck them while we weren’t looki-- Ah... I should have guessed.

I suppose I should just stay silent and pretend that I don’t know anything...

But seriously... I gave them all a day off and yet she’s still here huh...

Miyu soon returned with a couple of guards who were shooting unfriendly looks at me, probably already thinking that I was somehow responsible for this.

Well... They aren’t completely wrong but they didn’t need to know that.

The guards didn’t bother questioning me and just picked the unconscious girls up before carrying them to the gates with Miyu and I following behind them.

"What will happen to them?" I asked.

"Don’t worry, the guards will take care of them," Miyu assured me.

Well... That doesn’t really answer my question but I guess it’s not something for me to be concerned about.

We passed through the gates and Miyu turned back to me, "Ahem... Even though there were some complications at the end, this concludes our tour of the upper district! I hope that you had a pleasant time here and if you would like to visit again, please head back to the same place to apply for another visitation permit! Thank you for visiting!"

She does recover fast, huh?

She quickly bowed before leaving me to head back towards that administration building while the guards carried the three unconscious girls to what appeared to be a guard building at the side.

Guess they’ll leave them there until they wake up or something... Those girls are their problem now so I guess I should make myself scarce before they wake up...

"Mistress," Katsuki’s voice came from the side. "What a coincidence to meet you here."

I turned and Katsuki was standing there like she hadn’t been nearby all along.

Uh huh... I know you were responsible for knocking those three girls out, Katsuki... And you know what I’m going to do to you for that?

"Mis... Mistress?" She gasped, surprised from my unexpected headpatting.

I grinned at her, "I don’t say this enough, Katsuki... But I really do appreciate you staying by my side~ Please continue to support me, ok?"

"Ah... Umm... Of course, Mistress. It is my honour and privilege to serve you."

Mmhmm~ Mmhmm~ That’s my cute Katsuki~

"Do you want to follow me for the rest of the day?" I asked.

She bowed, "If Mistress would permit me to, I would gladly do so."

Good, because now I’m planning to treat Katsuki to some sweets as thanks for what she did~
