The man, roughly thirty years old, donned the apprentice robe denoting an inheritance apprentice. His exposed skin bore evident modifications, with gears and rivets visible externally.

This was Hudson, the inheritance apprentice of alchemy puppet-master Codinos.

Hudson approached and placed his left hand over his right chest, bowing slightly to Wizard Calvin. “Good afternoon, esteemed Green Wizard.”

After a brief pause, he stated his purpose. “I was sent by my mentor, Lord Codinos, to inquire about the scroll of Deep Meditation Laws recently withdrawn from the archives by your honorable self.”

“We hope you can provide an explanation.”
