Chapter 425: Chapter 26: Wizards of the Tower of Order
Dark Moon Church, Witch Master Hall.
Inside the Witch Master Hall, Lynch was sizing up the unfamiliar guests before him.
There were two of them, both looking around forty years old, seemingly no different from ordinary wizards, dressed in regular wizard robes.
However, both exuded a very powerful Spiritual Field, clearly indicating they were at least High-level Wizards.
As Lynch was observing them, one of them had already begun to speak. A wizard with brown hair stepped forward and greeted, âItâs a pleasure to meet you, Lord Saphiro. We come from the Tower of Order. My name is Murphy, and this is my colleague, Harut.â
This Murphy wizard was fairly courteous, but the one named Harut had a less pleasant demeanor, not speaking a word with a rather arrogant expression, chin high.
Lynch glanced at them and nodded slightly, addressing Murphy, âItâs a pleasure to meet you. May I know the purpose of your sudden visit?â
âHmph!â
Harut snorted coldly, and said with an accusatory tone, âIs there something going on? Of course, there is!â
âWantonly provoking conflicts, breaking peace, later forcibly seizing othersâ witch domains, usurping other wizardsâ efforts, wantonly slaughtering other wizards, causing such a commotion. Do you think itâs nothing?â
Lynch frowned slightly.
Although he had anticipated the possibility of their ill intentions, the accusatory tone was unexpected. Were they really here to cause trouble?
Next to him, Murphy Wizard picked up the conversation politely, âSaphiro Wizard, please understand. My colleague Harut is straightforward and doesnât know how to choose his words. I ask for your understanding.â
He symbolically turned to Harut to scold him lightly, âIâve told you to speak less.â
Then he continued to address Lynch, âWe are here representing the Tower of Order to inquire about your sudden provocation of conflicts in the Jade Land.â
âAfter all, to restore peace to this chaotic land, our Tower of Order has spent a great deal of effort. Weâve barely managed to calm things down here, and we truly hope not to see more disturbances.â
He raised his voice slightly, âThis is our wish, the wish of the Supreme Council, and the wish of all wizards.â
Wow!
Such boldness!
Lynch realized these two were clearly playing good cop, bad cop, trying to corner him!
If thatâs the caseâŠ
Lynch feigned a look of helplessness and said, âI believe you both might have misunderstood. The conflict was not initiated by me but by the Dark Moon Church.â
âI was peacefully managing my Witch Domain in Feiyan City, but the Dark Moon Church kept sending people to attack me every other day, capturing my people to mine in Jade Ridge, or using them for strange experiments.â
âItâs been going on for quite some time, and I had no choice but to retaliate.â
Harut said, âFor the sake of a few human interests, youâve caused such a large-scale war, resulting in the deaths of so many wizards. Donât you think itâs excessive?â
Lynch furrowed his brow, losing a bit of patience.
He answered doubtfully, âIndeed, do you have any good suggestions now?â
âSuggestions?â
Harut said coldly, âAccording to the Supreme Councilâs regulations, wantonly initiating wars is a violation of the supreme laws. You should follow us back to face judgment!â
Lynch let out a cold laugh, âBold words! If you have the guts, come and try then!â
His unexpected assertiveness seemed to catch the two wizards from the Tower of Order off guard.
Harut shouted angrily, âWhat do you mean? Are you defying us?â
The Tower of Order was one of the supreme orders of this world, basically determining the basic order of the entire Wizard World.
Which wizards are White Wizards, worthy of affirmation?
Which wizards are Black Wizards, to be punished?
All of this was decided by them.
One might say they represented the embodiment of the supreme will of the entire Wizard World.
The outcome of defying them was evident.
However, faced with their aggression, Lynch was undaunted. âDefy?â
âIâm defying them today. So what?â
With that, he suddenly stood up from his chair.
At the moment he rose, an enormous Truth Magic Array emerged from beneath his feet, followed by an immense Spiritual Field transforming into two invisible large hands reaching straight for the two wizards from the Tower of Order.
Their courtesy was out of respect for their backgrounds, but if two High-level Wizards thought they could push him around based on that, they were surely overthinking it.
Regarding the consequencesâŠ
When he arrived at this Witch Domain, he had nothing and was already listed as a fugitive on the Supreme Councilâs wanted list. If pushed to the edge, he could simply return to the mountains as a village person or head to the chaotic Black Witch Domain.
With the systemâs help, becoming strong was only a matter of time, and if angered enough, cultivating for a few hundred years and throwing them off wouldnât be impossible for Lynch.
The two menâs faces changed dramatically.
They hurriedly supported their respective Protection Spells in an attempt to resist. An invisible barrier unfolded in front of them, clearly a Force Field System Protection Spell.
Yet, the difference in tiers was insurmountable. Their Protection Spells, regardless of level, were like paper compared to Lynchâs Secret Skill Level Spiritual Power, and with just two snapping sounds, they shattered.
âSaphiro Wizard, please stop! We mean no offense!â
Seeing the Defensive Magic about to collapse, Murphy Wizard was evidently flustered and quickly shouted loudly.
But Lynch was deaf to it, continuing to tighten the invisible hands.
Witnessing Murphy Wizardâs panic, he bit his teeth and quickly retrieved a flute from his pocket, placing it at his lips to blow.
As the urgent, rapid rhythm sounded, tangible musical notes flew into the air, about the two, filling and repairing the cracks on their Barrier, forcefully pulling back the Barrier that was about to shatter.
âHuh?â
So thereâs a Second-order Witch Tool?
Lynch instantly recognized the witchcraft in Murphy Wizardâs hand, exuding Secret Skill Level power.
ButâŠ
If they thought merely one piece of Mystical Witchcraft could withstand the wrath of a Mystical Wizard, that was far too naive!
