"Splat!"
Reinâs figure flickered, and suddenly he appeared before the second Evil Fire Element, reaching out with his hand like a venomous snake.
Next came the third one...
One per second!
In just three seconds, Rein slew three Evil Fire Elements, which in Aliciaâs view, required several people working together to barely manage.
Seeing Reinâs clean and efficient maneuvers, Alicia felt as if she had been struck by lightning, unable to regain her senses for a long time!
Her beautiful eyes repeatedly scanned Rein, seemingly wanting to acquaint herself anew with this âjuniorâ, and in her eyes was a mix of shock, surprise, and disbelief.
Seeing Rein reveal his power voluntarily, Audrey immediately bowed slightly and said, "Lord Rein, what shall we do next?"
"Audrey, you... what did you just call him, Lord Rein?"
Alicia finally snapped out of her daze upon hearing Audreyâs words.
Upon hearing Audreyâs address, she immediately realized that Audrey seemed to have known her mysterious juniorâs identity for some time.
"You... you already knew Rein... Lord Reinâs identity?" Alicia couldnât help but ask aloud, also using formal address.
"Yes, but Alicia, my senior sister, Iâm really sorry. According to the wishes of the mentor and the Sect Leader, Lord Reinâs identity is top secret."
Saying this, Audreyâs pale chin lifted slightly, making her slender, white neck look like that of a swan.
As if saying, only three people in the school know Lord Reinâs identity, and Iâm one of them.
Upon hearing this, Alicia fell silent.
All this time, such a solid leg to cling to was right before her eyes, yet she was busy seeking Paul out instead. She must be blind!
But then she thought again, no, thatâs not right!
Though she had only just learned of Reinâs true identity, she didnât offend him or anythingâshe merely called herself his sister, and normally was quite kind and attentive.
So what is there to worry about?
The next moment, Alicia suddenly gave a charming smile, quickly walking to Reinâs side and saying, "Lord Rein, I apologize for not recognizing your identity earlier."
"Thankfully you exposed Paul as a hypocritical scoundrel, otherwise Audrey and I would have been deceived."
Aliciaâs words left Audrey momentarily stunned!
Who was deceived?
Clearly it was you, why drag me into it?
However, Audrey didnât dwell on this point but instead asked Rein, saying, "By the way, Lord Rein, shouldnât we go help now?"
"No rush, letâs wait a bit longer; the school is not as unprepared as you think. Moreover..."
"The mastermind hasnât shown up yet. If we act too early, we might frighten them away." Rein said with a slight smile.
Reinâs words made the two women beside him look at each other in astonishment.
Frighten the opponent so they donât dare to come?
Isnât that too bold a statement?
Just who exactly is this mysterious âjuniorâ? Aliciaâs heart felt like it was being lightly scratched by a catâs paw.
"Ah? Youâre saying the tunnel burst wasnât by chance, but someone is manipulating it from behind the scenes?" Audrey exclaimed.
"Yes, although I donât know exactly what methods they are using, there is undoubtedly manipulation." Rein nodded.
"Alright, letâs find cover for now."
After speaking, Rein led the way to the edge of an open space, bypassing some jagged rocks, then shaped the Hardened Essence Gold in his hand into a Greatsword, swiftly carving a recess in the dark brown rock wall of the canyon suitable for the three to hide.
Once the three entered, he reshaped the Hardened Essence Gold to form a door-like blockade at the entrance.
Amidst the aromatic breeze, Aliciaâs full, soft body subtly leaned towards Reinâs side.
At this point, through a reserved breathing hole in the Hardened Essence Gold, the three heard heavy footsteps, âthud thud thudâ, coming from outside.
"What is this..." Aliciaâs face revealed surprise, speaking in a low voice.
"Hellfire rock giants," Audrey said firmly, nodding.
There appeared a five-meter-tall rock giant, its whole body ablaze with pale green flames, striding towards the direction of the school camp.
With each step it took, its several-ton body left behind a clear, several-inches-deep, charred round footprint!
Following it, another four emerged in succession.
And, judging by the noise, there seemed to be a few more coming later.
"Hiss~ so many!"
"This surpasses last time, doesnât it?" Aliciaâs beautiful eyes widened, and she murmured under her breath.
Originally, she thought the tunnel disturbances this time might be similar to the previous incident, but judging by the current number of Hellfire rock giants, itâs already more than last time, not just slightly more, but nearly half again.
"Lord Rein, do you think the school camp can hold them off?" Audrey said, her eyebrows knitting in concern.
With Rein beside her, Audrey wasnât worried about her own safety but as a member of the school, she didnât wish to see excessive casualties there.
"Itâs unlikely to be a major problem, the camp is prepared. Shortly, weâll head over." Rein reassured.
A few minutes later, the commotion from the Hellfire rock giants began to settle.
Rein then retracted the Hardened Essence Gold before him, quickly leading the two women towards the camp. After navigating several turns, the camp came into clear view.
All around the camp, there were boulder crashes reverberating, intermingled with green flames and various Witchcraft Lights.
