"Two days ago, the Second Prince personally contacted and pressured the Marshal. Originally, Quinna, who was held at headquarters and possessed the Shadow Dragon Bloodline, has been taken away."

"I think the act of killing the mount at your residence out of anger was likely done by this Quinna."

"The Second Prince? Shadow Dragon Bloodline?" Rein was slightly taken aback; he hadn’t expected this to be the case.

"I understand."

"Moreover, Lord Rein, something happened in Mingster." Major General Tatia paused slightly before delivering the second piece of bad news.

"Mingster? Did something happen to Jennifer and Lagaray?" Rein narrowed his eyes, a natural aura of authority emanating from him.

This surprised Major General Tatia!

It seemed that Lord Rein’s strength had improved again. Initially, news came that Lord Rein and Prince Menia were defeated and imprisoned by the Nether Sea Goddess Hela, but it now appeared completely untrue.

This speed of strength enhancement was indeed terrifying!

"Madam Jennifer and Miss Lagaray were attacked, but under the protection of the Sword Bearers Branch and the Goddess Church, they are both safe. However, they are temporarily settled within the Mingster Goddess Church. I have arranged for headquarters personnel to go there," Tatia said with a solemn expression.

"The Duke of Minter also sent support, but was blocked by an unknown force."

Upon hearing this somewhat familiar term, Rein’s heart stirred, and he thought of something, saying, "Is it the large Wizard School affiliated with the ’Carver’ Harold?"

"Yes, Lord Rein, exactly. Only they can easily send out two specialized Earth Witchcraft Crystallization Wizards," Tatia nodded.

Rein nodded.

So it was them, no wonder.

Ever since he killed the ’Carver’ Harold, reputed to be the strongest Legendary figure, the other party had continuously expressed vengeful sentiments. Only after Rein displayed his Epic combat power did those revenge proclamations vanish completely.

Are they acting out revenge, thinking I won’t return?

"You just mentioned two individuals. Are there others?" Rein asked in a deep voice.

"There are two others, not confirmed yet. We’re investigating, but according to reliable sources, they seem to be Marquis O’Lence and his Captain of the Guards."

Upon hearing Rein’s words, Tatia and Olena exchanged glances, momentarily unsure of what to say.

Yet, one thing was clear to both; it seemed the Imperial City was about to face a storm.

When Rein arrived at the entrance of his residence, the nearby short-statured Matteo was overjoyed.

However, Rein frowned, for he heard voices from the parlor a short distance away. He gestured to Matteo not to make loud noises.

"Last night, the attacker was a woman of strong skill, even I couldn’t stop her."

"I feel the killing of Rein’s former mount, Little Black, was more about creating fear among the people in the residence," Cleya said, slightly weary.
