"How is this possible?"
The sudden change caught everyone off guard.
David, however, paid no mind to othersâ reactions. Alone, sword in hand, he charged into the mercenary corps, killing one person per step, with no one able to withstand his blow!
Even without activating the Frost Wolf Bloodline and the Frost Wolf Sword Skill, merely relying on the physical attributes of a Tier Three Knight, the Official Knights were no match for him!
"Official Knight!"
"And not just Tier One!"
The Blood-colored Leader was also stunned by the scene before him.
In almost an instant, a terrifying notion crossed his mind.
The Duke Frost Wolf had actually activated the Frost Wolf Bloodline and even cultivated to Tier Two!
"The Duke Frost Wolf is actually hiding his strength!"
Upon realizing this possibility, the Blood-colored Leader no longer had any will to fight.
He had to relay this information to the Marquis Ice Bear as soon as possible!
Since the Blood-colored Leader possessed the Blood Bat Bloodline and had also cultivated the corresponding Speed Breathing Technique, he swiftly dodged the Gray Wolf Knightâs attack.
But just as he aimed to escape, he felt a bone-chilling cold envelop his entire body, making his muscles freeze up.
When he looked up in horror, he saw a flash of silver â the Duke Frost Wolf was already in front of him, his Knightâs Sword thrusting towards his chest!
"Frost Wolf Sword Skill!"
The Blood-colored Leaderâs face showed horror as he barely moved his body, narrowly avoiding a fatal blow, the longsword grazing past his heart!
Searing pain hit him suddenly, causing him to spew a mouthful of blood, yet the chilling sensation didnât diminish in the slightest, leaving him to barely lift his head.
"You!"
The Blood-colored Leader spat out bloody foam, the light in his eyes dimming.
"Leader!"
The few remaining mercenaries from the Blood-colored Mercenary Corps couldnât help but exclaim.
None of them imagined that the renowned Blood-colored Leader of the Northern Lands would die at the hands of the Duke Frost Wolf, and be almost instantaneously killed!
Not just these mercenaries, even the Gray Wolf Knight widened his eyes in shock, completely unaware of how terrifying the Lordâs power was!
A Tier Three Knight couldnât withstand even a single move from Young Master David!
Others might think Young Master David was merely concealing his strength, but only he knew what this meant.
To know, just two months ago, Young Master David hadnât even awakened the Frost Wolf Bloodline, yet now he possessed the power to kill Tier Three Knights!
Such growth speed in power was unparalleled across the entire continent.
Even the Silver Moon Kingdomâs most proud Third Prince couldnât compare to Young Master Davidâs rate of power growth!
Genius!
Young Master David is an absolute genius!
Suddenly, he questioned if his own approach was correct.
Given Young Master Davidâs talent, wasting time on offspring matters seemed an utter waste.
If given enough time, Young Master David could certainly achieve becoming a Tier Four Earth Knight!
"Capture all the mercenaries for interrogation."
At this, all the Knightâs Attendants were filled with excitement; nothing stirred more honor in a Knightâs Attendant than a powerful lord to serve!
Upon their lordâs command, they immediately complied, capturing the mercenaries who were still in a daze, and David promptly interrogated them all.
Unfortunately.
These ordinary mercenaries knew very little.
At the very least, David learned that someone was indeed supporting the Blood-colored Mercenary Corps, and was fairly certain the support came from the Ice Bear Clan.
"Iâll settle this debt sooner or later."
David snorted coldly and mercilessly executed the mercenaries on the spot.
"Gather all the bodies, weâre returning to camp."
Afterward, he led the Gray Wolf Knight and the Knightâs Attendants back.
Shortly after, Davidâs nose twitched involuntarily; the keen sense of smell from the Frost Wolf Bloodline made him notice the scent of blood.
As they proceeded, they found more than a dozen people dressed as refugees lying in the wilderness, yet each held weapons.
"These were the wandering knights and mercenaries from the camp."
The Gray Wolf Knight went ahead, recognizing among them the mercenary who had earlier delivered the message.
Who could have ambushed and killed these wandering knights and mercenaries along the way?
"Seems there are experts hiding among the refugees," David said calmly.
The Gray Wolf Knight nodded, "What do we do next?"
Unbeknownst to himself, the Gray Wolf Knightâs respect towards David grew more sincere.
"Ignore them."
"Since theyâve chosen to act at this moment and kill these wandering knights and mercenaries, it shows they bear no malice."
David spoke calmly.
Having the Knightâs Attendants bring these corpses along, they returned to camp.
Seeing the Frost Wolf Lord return, the refugees initially appeared puzzled, but upon seeing the bodies theyâve dragged back, their expressions dramatically changed.
Some refugees recognized them as the ones mingling among the crowd, faces instantly turning ashen.
The Lord provided them with shelter and food, yet these refugees still plotted to assassinate the Lord, inevitably enraging the refugees present.
Without needing Davidâs prompt, the refugees immediately identified the companions of these people.
The wandering knights and mercenaries still hiding among the crowd were quickly exposed by the refugees, and those who attempted resistance were instantly apprehended by the Gray Wolf Knight.
Subsequently, David ordered all living wandering knights and mercenaries to be captured and let the militia team witness bloodshed.
Watching the living bound to planks upright, then seeing militiamen step forward to execute them, many refugees turned pale.
They believed the Frost Wolf Lord to be merciful, but didnât expect such terrifying wrath when he was angry.
When all were executed, David ordered the corpses, including the Blood-colored Leader, to be displayed along the path to Frost Wolf Ridge!
He wanted to see if any more wandering knights or mercenaries dared to covet Frost Wolf Ridge!
Upon arranging everything, David, once again, led the Gray Wolf Knight and soldiers back to Frost Wolf Ridge, disappearing into the glow of the sunset.
Seeing David depart, Princess Jingge sighed in relief.
Among these mercenaries were those killed by Romance, and since the Frost Wolf Lord had said nothing, it seemed he tacitly acknowledged their presence.
Roman Knight was staring at the Blood-colored Leaderâs body, his expression turning incredibly serious.
He naturally recognized the leader of the Blood-colored Mercenaries as a Tier Three Knight in strength, but didnât expect him to die here.
Princess Jinggeâs gaze also fell upon the Blood-colored Leader.
But suddenly, her eyes narrowed, silver gleam flashing through, turning to shock.
From this Blood-colored Leader, she sensed lingering powerful Ice Power, "So... it was the Frost Wolf Lord who acted?"
