"Did you bring everything?"
McCarthy looked at Fox with some urgency in his tone.
"Holy One, I have brought all the scrolls; theyâre in the carriage outside, heavily guarded and very safe."
Fox replied respectfully.
"Good, youâve worked hard, Fox."
McCarthy was slightly relieved to hear that those scrolls had been brought over.
There was no choice; because of Urbisâs betrayal, almost all of his previous arrangements had been cleared.
Now, the scrolls from Foxâs side were among the few remaining.
"These are all high-order Magic Scrolls, they are crucial cards in our upcoming confrontation with the True God; they represent decades of our efforts, and itâs vital that nothing goes wrong..."
"Fox, you have contributed a lot too; I donât have much to thank you with, but if you have any doubts about breakthroughs, feel free to ask; I will assist you."
McCarthy made a promise.
Upon hearing this, Fox hurriedly bowed, a look of excitement on his face.
This was a chance to be personally taught by a Holy One, an opportunity that goes without saying in terms of its value.
It is believed that if this news gets out, countless people would fight fiercely to seize this opportunity.
Soon, the scrolls Fox brought were transported by soldiers and stored in a secret room inside the Holy Temple.
These scrolls were the ones Zhang Xiaoman had seen last time at the Iron Furnace Commerce.
Even that portion was just the tip of the iceberg; more were hidden in other secret rooms behind the walls.
There were many scrolls, totaling more than twelve hundred.
Among them, even the lowest level ones had Seventh Tier status, with some of the highest being Ninth Rank rare treasures.
Of course, not all of these Magic Scrolls were made by Fox; he didnât have that strength.
Almost all of these scrolls were personally inscribed by McCarthy.
Ever since he learned the truth about the Divine Presence Festival, he had been preparing for this day, completing over twelve hundred scrolls over decades.
Although this might seem like a long time, one must know that many of these scrolls were of Eighth Rank.
Creating each one required countless precious materials and time, making it impossible to produce them quickly in large quantities.
Once a scroll was used, even a low-level mage could unleash an eighth-rank Magic spell, highlighting its value.
During the Divine Presence Festival, McCarthy believed that even a True God wouldnât withstand over a thousand high-order scrolls.
"Holy One, last time Lord Jixing gave me a potion that could enhance mana. After taking it, I felt the barrier to Ninth Rank loosen a bit...so... I have some questions I would like to take this opportunity to ask you if you donât mind?"
Fox was somewhat anxious, looking expectantly for McCarthyâs response.
McCarthy was slightly surprised by his words.
However, upon hearing that the other might break through to Ninth Rank, he was quite pleased.
Since the battle hadnât started yet, he took some time to explain some of Foxâs inner doubts.
Meanwhile, in the beastman camp.
In the Military Governorâs tent, Ogatlonâs massive body lay on a thick stone bed.
A few Shaman Priests stood around, casting Healing Magic to recover his wounds.
Compared to Yohad, Ogatlonâs injuries were much lighter.
Primarily because there was no pure Elemental Power blocking, making the healing relatively easier.
But a dwarf Ninth Rank Great Grandmasterâs attack isnât easy to withstand.
Even with the protection of golden armor, Ogatlon still suffered considerable damage once the armorâs limit was reached.
"Ogatlon, you were too impulsive!"
In the tent, a beastman wearing a magic wolf fur cloak spoke with displeasure.
In the entire Beastman Army, only the Eighth Rank Great Shaman Priest had the courage and power to speak to Ogatlon in such a tone.
This beastman was the one who rescued Ogatlon from McCarthy on the battlefield, and it was he who summoned the Ninth Rank Storm Element King.
"Greg, I donât need you to meddle in my affairs!"
Despite being somewhat weak, Ogatlon retorted without any hesitation.
"Didnât you notice, that dwarf was injured by my Fiery Sun Battle Blade, and even if they took him back, they couldnât heal his wounds! Iâve already eliminated a Ninth Rank Combat Master, isnât that enough!?"
Ogatlon said as he sat up, slamming a hand on the stone bed.
His immense strength immediately caused the bed to crack, prompting the surrounding Shaman Priests casting Healing Magic to retreat in fear.
However, while others feared him, Greg was unimpressed.
He quickly strode forward, grabbed Ogatlonâs collar, and shouted angrily:
"Foolish creature! Itâs all just your speculation! You fought a mutual destructive battle with Yohad, but your Fiery Sun Ring was severely damaged! We only have the last Holy and Demonic Stone left! And now we have to waste it on repairing your ring!"
Saying this, he pushed Ogatlon back with malice.
