Edie didnāt wait long in less than twenty minutes, Aaron arrived. He drove a bright yellow Lamborghini, and as soon as he saw Edie, he rolled down the window and gave her a wink. He looked at her with enchanting eyes, "Hey sister, have you been waiting long? Quick get in my car."
She wasnāt in the mood for any jokes, and with a serious look on her face, she got into the car. Unlike Edieās mood, Aaron seemed to be in high spirits, "Sister, I know a special place. With your permission, I will take you there?"
Edie said glumly, "Iām not interested in going anywhere. I asked you to come, and I am looking for answers. Tell me why you told me that Stuart was gay?" She shuddered at the thoughts of what had happened last night because of Aaronās false information; her feelings towards Stuart have now changed.
She always thought that Stuart had no interest in women, so she had no interest in him. Now in retrospect, there have been many times in the past where she and Stuart had many intimate moments. She ignored them because she thought he was gay.
If she knew Stuartās sexuality was that of a heterosexual, she would have kept Stuart an armās length away right from the start! She agreed to the marriage, so she and Stuart would both get what they wanted. Everything that she had believed to be true was all a lie, and the culprit was the man sitting next to her.
When Aaron heard Edieās demand for answers, he scratched his head. It looked like he was searching for an explanation as if the question was too difficult to answer.
"Sister, we canāt park here. This is too open of a place. We need to go somewhere private," he said as he started the engine. She stared at Aaron, trying to find a flaw in the expression on his face, "I will not be going anywhere until you tell the truth. I am tired of all the lies and deceit."
"Itās a long story, but I will tell you everything."
"You say it as though you have done nothing wrong. Do you have any idea how much trouble you caused by telling me such lies? I have all kinds of time, so all I want is for you to answer my questions with complete honesty. No more lies."
She didnāt want to go back to Stuart. She had to find answers and then go from there. Aaron was prevaricating as if he were considering what to say. He seemed to be driving very fast and had gone a long way.
Edie was looking out the window as he was driving and found that the scenery along the way was becoming more and more strange and remote. She asked him curiously, "Where are we going now?"
When he heard Edieās question, Aaron slowly stopped the car and turned his head to look at her. He gave her a sinister smile, like a child who succeeds in getting away from something that he had done wrong.
An uneasiness rose in Edieās heart, and she moved back involuntarily. She reached to her side and cautiously pressed the door handle. The door was locked, and there was no way to open it. She stared at Aaron wide-eyed, "What the hell are you planning to do?"
Before she could finish, Aaron grabbed a towel and pressed it against her mouth and nose tightly.
She thought about holding her breath, but it was too late. The pungent potion smell was inhaled through the nose, and almost immediately, Edie felt disoriented, she fainted, and now everything was dark.
Before she closed her eyes, she could see his smile getting bigger and bigger. His eyes sparkled with a strange light. He was like a poisonous snake waiting to make its move. She didnāt know how long she was unconscious, and when she woke up for a moment, she thought it was in a dream.
She opened her eyes in a daze. She was facing an elegant crystal chandelier on the ceiling. The glare from the light was shining in her eyes. When she finally came to her senses and tried to sit up, she couldnāt move. She realized that her whole body was tied tightly to the bedpost.
She looked around, trying to find out how to escape and noticed that the clothes she had on had been replaced by sexy underwear. Her skin was now exposed, she was horrified and screamed,
"Stuart, where are you? Please help me !"
She instinctively screamed for help, but it was Stuartās name that first came to her mind. She was stunned because he was the first person that she thought of. She didnāt understand why she was expecting Stuart to save her. He would have no idea where she was, or did he even care?
While Edie was still in the grip of her own thoughts, the door of the room suddenly opened. Edie shuddered at the thoughts of what he was going to do to her. She turned her head to look to see who it was, and it was Aaron.
He was wearing a bathrobe and holding a glass of red wine, and he walked slowly towards her. As he walked, he gently shook the glass in his hand. The glass reflected the light of the crystal chandelier, giving a weird color to his face, which was more beautiful than a woman.
She hated her credulity and thoughtlessly got into Aaronās car. He had lied to her, and she still believed that he would tell her the truth and because of her being so naive, her she was. Time after time, she was putting herself in danger. Why didnāt she listen to Stuart?
She glared at him and asked, "Who the hell are you? What do you want from me?" Edie remembered that Aaron came to her as soon as she and Stuart were married and that his objective was on Stuart. Was this his way of seeking revenge or?
She knew that there must be a deep connection between them. The uneasiness in Edieās heart was magnified, and the closer she came to Aaronās true identity, the more she felt that a dark conspiracy was unfolding.
"Sister, donāt look so anxious. Everything is fine, you are looking for answers to your questions, and soon you will get them. First, I understand that you like to drink wine? I have the best cabernet sauvignon, do you want to taste it?"
She glanced up at his face, but it gave no clue of his mind. Then he looked at her, and she could see an evil smile forming on his lips. She could almost smell the red wine on his breath.
"Aaron, are you crazy? Look what youāve done to me, how could I be in the mood to drink with you," Edie cried. Aaron was rejected, and he didnāt care. His smile became more seductive.
"Donāt worry; this is my place, and we have plenty of time to talk."
"Where the hell am I?" A bad feeling arose in Edieās heart.
Aaron strolled to the wall, and Edie noticed that there was a window there, but it was completely opaque. Aaron turned his head and smiled mysteriously at Edie, "Come on, letās see what we have here," He reached out and opened the window.
