The dagger pierced through Stuartâs hands. The blood poured out and was dripping on Aaronâs face. Aaron burst into a crazy laugh. The laugh sounded really scary on such a rainy day, "Stuart, if you want to kill me, then go ahead and do it."
Aaronâs eyes were covered in Stuartâs blood, and because of that, he couldnât see. All he could do was keep shouting at Stuart. Despite the pain in his hands, Stuart grabbed Aaronâs collar and pulled him, "I have warned you to stay away from Eddie. I told you that if you didnât then I would kill you!" Stuartâs voice was cold and trembling.
The blood on Aaronâs face was now washed away by the rain. He opened his eyes and saw the coldness in Stuartâs eyes. His eyes looked like a sharp knife that could pierce through Aaronâs bones. With each bone being hit by Stuart seemed to cause Aaron pain.
Aaron kept smiling and said, "Go ahead and kill me. I deserve it. You know, this will never come to an end until one of us dies. As long as I am alive, I will never stop hurting you."
Stuart squinted dangerously at Aaron, and even the torrential rain outside couldnât put out the fire in his eyes, "Aaron, this is between us. You should have never involved my wife in our feud."
This time, Stuart really wanted to kill him. For such a long time, he believed what was between him and Aaron was only a conflict of interest, including the things that happened with Marina. Stuart could forgive him because he thought Aaron was too young to understand.
Stuart believed that Aaron didnât know the difference between good and evil. However, Aaron had done these horrible things for a very long time. Aaron had lost himself completely. Currently, he was nothing more than an evil monster.
What happened to Marina was the most horrific thing in his life. He would never let that happen to Eddie. Therefore, he wanted to end all of it now.
Aaron laughed more crazily, "Stuart, donât be so naive. From the moment I was born, we were bound to fight against each other. Eddie chose to marry you. She canât escape from this. You canât protect her with the marriage. Donât even dream of it. As long as I am alive, I will beat you. It doesnât matter how or when, but I will win at all costs." Aaronâs words were reverberating in the rain.
"All costs?"
Stuart grasped Aaron with his bloody hands, and with all his strength, he picked him up. Seeing this, Aaron wasnât afraid. On the contrary, he was happy. He had been waiting for this for a long time.
He wished he would kill him and end all this. Then there would be no pain and no more struggling. Aaron closed his eyes. Suddenly someone rushes in to stop Stuart, "Stuart, stop. If he dies, the family will never forgive you." Ivan said with a concerned tone in his voice.
"Get out of here," His voice sounded so cold, without even throwing an eye on Ivan. Aaronâs body was pressed on the barrier of the balcony, and Stuart had his hands around his throat.
As he almost lost his consciousness, Aaron knew it was his fate, and this was his punishment. Ivan became extremely nervous, but he didnât dare to try and stop Stuart. Seeing the situation, he didnât know what to do.
Aaron was about to be thrown off the balcony or was going to be choked to death. Right then, Mr. Bates arrived.
"Stuart, it is not right for you to kill your brother. He is part of your family. If Aaron is to get hurt or even die, the family would exploit all rights from you. If that happens, no one could be there to protect Eddie."
What Mr. Bates said worked, Stuart suddenly stopped. Aaron gasped for air and took several deep breaths. He almost felt relieved, but he wasnât happy, "Stuart, you are such a coward. Kill me now. If you kill me now, I can assure you that no one in the family will make any trouble for you."
However, Stuart heard what Mr. Bates said, and he slowly released his hands. Ivan noticed Stuartâs wounds on his hands and his arm, and then he immediately called Stuartâs private doctor. As Stuart was leaving, Aaron kept shouting at him, "Stuart, you will pay for not killing me. You know this will never end. I will never let Eddie go."
Stuart remained silent and didnât turn around to look at Aaron. He walked slowly into the rain. Being exposed by the light, the wound looked deeper.
Aaron got up and was still shouting at Stuart. Stuart didnât move, and he just kept walking. Aaron got angrier because Stuart wouldnât turn around and look at him. Aaron still had the knife and aimed it for Stuartâs back.
But before Aaron had a chance to throw it, Ivan stopped him. Ivan kicked the dagger out of his hands and knocked Aaron to the ground. Aaron struggled to stand up, and Ivan forced him down to the ground. Then Stuart and Mr. Bates disappeared from sight.
Not once did Stuart look back at Aaron. Looking at Aaron on the ground, Ivan said, "Aaron, if he hurt or killed you today, the family would never forgive him. You want him to be punished. This is your plan, isnât it? Thatâs why you are always provoking him."
Aaron kept struggling to get up, but Ivan held his foot on his back. Staring at him, Ivan said, "Aaron, take care of yourself."
Then, he left. Aaron heard the sound of an engine starting. Then they were gone. Aaronâs eyes widened in shocked disbelief. "This isnât the end," Aaron said with hatred burning his eyes.
He held his hands so tightly that the fingernails were embedded into his skin. But he acted as if he couldnât feel any pain.
"I had no choice! You forced me to do this, Stuart."
