Stuart said by her ears with fatigue, "Stop talking nonsense, accompanying you is what Iām supposed to do. Weāll go to the church after breakfast, and Iāll prepare everything for you,"

The answer made Stuartās body shake, he winced hard, "You donāt want to marry me? Donāt you want a formal wedding ceremony?"
"You wish! You owe me a wedding, you have to compensate me no matter what. What I meant was you donāt have to go to church with me today, youāre already so tired, go have a rest, or you will be more tired the next day at work." She said to him.
"Iām fine," he was relieved when he realized that Edie still wanted to marry him, "Edie, no matter what happens, you have to believe that I love you forever. I canāt live without you. Weāve been together for how many months as husband and wife, but I still look forward to growing old with you,"
He slowly closed his eyes as he finally said those words. Edie startled for a second, what does he mean? Is something going to happen soon?

Edie glared at him and said, "Wash up and have your breakfast."
"Are you being shy? Is it that hard to admit that you were feeling sorry for me? Cāmon honey, I wanted to hear it from you," Stuart didnāt want to give up a chance and continued to tease her.
Edie couldnāt bear his tease and blushed, "I didnāt feel sorry for you! Why did I have to feel sorry for you? Stuart, you already mine, and no one can take you away from me,"
"Really? If you donāt admit it, I wonāt let you go! Cāmon admit it that you feel sorry for your husband, "

He was 28, not innocent or pure anymore, but steady and prudent like every mature man. He was elegant, calm, and dignified.
She was 23, youthful, and beautiful. She was at a womanās best age. She had experienced a lot of struggles in life. She was beautiful and intelligent, and she worked hard in managing their relationship. His maturity and her youthfulness fitted each other perfectly. The five-year gap was just right for Edie. And having Stuart as husband is a big reward for her she never expected to happen.
She learned how to make cakes every day for his birthday. As a reward, her skill became better and better. She even made birthday invitations herself. After she finished making the birthday invitations, she had to make a guest list. Of course, she had to invite people Stuart knew, Mr. Bates, Ian and Brittany, Todd was in Britain for a business trip, so she invited him as well. There was only one person she didnāt know whether to invite or not.
"Mr. Bates, do you think I should invite the deputy chairman?" Edie asked Mr. Bates in a baffled face.
Mr. Bates smiled wisely and kindly and said, "Do invite her, Mrs. Yates, actually you have already decided, right? You only wanted someone to give you confidence, right?"
