In the chaos, Clyde talked first.
"Stuart, as your uncle, I can give you a suggestion. Send her to the police station. She should be put in jail."
It was the first time Clyde admitted their relationship. Stuart turned towards him.
Stanley was shocked, "What do you call yourself? Who are you? Are you..."
Clyde smiled, "yes, I am one of Laraâs "
Both Stanley and the old Greg were stuck at the dump.
The Laraâs never asked about Eddie all these years. Why did he appear at this moment?
The only one that was not affected by the news was Victoria. Another thing distracted her. She screamed out.
She failed to kill Eddie, and now she might be sent to prison.
Her promising future might be ruined after this. What should she do now?
"No, donât send me there. I couldnât be prisonedâDad, mom, grandpa. Please, help me. I donât want to go to prison."
Victoria struggled in panic.
Mrs. Greg looked at her daughter, distressingly. She wanted to beg the old Greg again. But after hearing Clyde, she saw the old Greg and Stanley seemed to remind something. She didnât dare to interrupt them.
Stuart started talking. His voice sounded like the ice from hell.
"I know what youâve done to Eddie these years. From now on, L.N would cancel all cooperation with Greg Enterprises and start purchasing the stock."
"What?" Stanleyâs face turned pale immediately. He came to himself from the shock of Clydeâs words. What he really cared about was the company.
If the Yates decided to be on the opposite of Gregâs, Gregâs wouldnât survive for a long time.
When he tried to say some words, the old Greg stopped him, "Shut up. Listen to Stuart."
"But, dad..."
"Shut up."
The old Greg insisted this time.
"Besides, Victoria," Stuart said randomly, "youâve taken a lot from Eddie these years. After getting out of prison, you are forbidden to go back to your home or get any help from your family. Otherwise, I might take more actions on Gregâs."
The move was so tough.
"No, you couldnât do this to me." Victoria screamed out crazily, "just cut my tongue off. Donât send me to prison. I donât want to live like that. I might die alone without my family. I would die soon. please, just cut my tongue off."
She would like to have her tongue cut off rather than living a normal life and being put in jail.
Clyde really knew the nature of this kind of woman. So he proposed the scariest punishment.
For women from the upper class, spiritual torture was much more frightening compared with physical torture.
The old Greg felt more shameful after hearing his granddaughterâs words.
"Kids, I appreciate this. I would keep this in my heart. We would do it in your way. Send her to the police station.â
"Grandpa, are you out of mind? Heâs torturing your granddaughter. I donât want to go to jail. I donât want to live like an ordinary man. Grandpa, please help me. Eddie loves you the most. Please beg her. She might help me..."
She cried her heart out.
She would like to die immediately rather than suffering from all these.
Though the Greg couple wanted to help, they didnât dare to now. It has been kind enough of Stuart not to kill Victoria. What else could they request him?
Mrs. Greg buried face in Stanleyâs arms. She didnât want to see the scene.
No one helped her. Victoria lost faith.
Her eyes turned malicious, "You such cowards. Do you really just stand aside and let him send me to jail? Old bastard, you always love Eddie. I wish I could stab her to death. Everything she has now belongs to me, and they belong to me..."
As Victoria kept yelling at everyone at present, the sound of high heels approached.
It sounded heavy, regular and delicate,
The vice president arrived,
"Whoâs making such an annoying noise in the hospital?"
"Hi, vice president. Please."
Ivan greeted her as the employer of D.E.
Seeing Bette, Clyde immediately stepped back, hiding in the corner.
Hearing this, Victoria remembered something.
Mrs. Yates...
She was Stuartâs mother. It was this woman that intended to choose her to be Stuartâs wife.
Victoria got excited. She got rid of two guards and rushed to Bette, kneeling down in front of her,
"Mrs. Yates, Iâve heard a lot about you. Iâve been looking forward to meeting you in person for a long time. Are you Stuartâs mother?"
"Yes. Whatâs up?" Bette scanned across the spot. She already guessed what happened.
On her way here, she had had Bayer gotten all the information needed.
She guessed the girl in front of her was Stanleyâs daughter, Eddieâs young sister.
It was also this girl that stabbed her daughter-in-law and caused her wound. She was the reason that Eddie lied in the surgery room right now.
Betteâs eyes turned cold.
But Victoria got so excited that she neglected the detail.
"Auntie, Do you still remember me? My name is Victoria. I still remember you wanted me to engage with Stuart before. Do you remember that?"
"Oh. yes!"
Bette squinted. Victoria cried too hard this morning. Her made-up was totally ruined. Her beautiful face now looked really scary. Deep in her red eyes were joy after disastrous and desire to revenge.
Bette met, numberable people. She knew Victoriaâs plan immediately.
Victoria wanted to take advantage of her.
Bette picked her up, "What happened? I couldnât find you in the villa. The housekeeper told me that you are all here. Did anyone get injured?" Better pretended that she didnât know anything here.
No one answered the question at first. Finally, Ivan said respectfully, "Vice president, it..it was Miss Greg. She stabbed young Mrs. Yates. Now she was lying in the surgery room.
"it is not my fault. Eddie stole my things. Youâve chosen me. If Eddie didnât appear, I already got married to Stuart. They couldnât distinguish between right and wrong. But I believe you can. I am the girl you chose."
