Eddie got more suspicious,
"Why do I need Ivan? We have other drivers here, donāt we?"
"They were all on vacation, "Mr. Bates smiled.
"I can take a taxi," She said immediately.
"But you just recovered. You couldnāt wait for the road for a long time. Besides, there might not be any taxi passing by."
"I would use Arthurās taxi, is it okay?" Eddie stared at Mr. Bates. She had a feeling that he was hiding something from her.
What he hid from her was outsides the room,
Mr. Batesās eyes turned dim.
"But he was Artherās driver, and I couldnāt order him randomly.:
"Thatās okay, I would go together," Arther said casually.
His slavery was starving. It was time to buy some food for him.
Eddie fixed eyes on Mr. Bates. She didnāt think he could find any other excuse to stop her,
Mr.Bates pressed his lips and smiled, "What do you want to buy, I would ask them to buy. If you still insist on going out, I would contact Ivan immediately."
"Mr. Bates, are you hiding anything from me? Is Stuart hiding anything from me?"
Eddie was quite familiar with Mr. Bates. He has always centered around Stuart. Stuart must hide something from him.
It was until now she realized a serious problem. Ivan never left her alone these days. Even she used the washing room, and he waited for outsiders.
She thought Stuart worried about him, so he asked Ivan to protect her.
Now, she thought it looked more like a prison.
What was Stuart doing? What did he hide from her?
Eddie stared at Mr. Bates coldly.
She was waiting for an acceptable explanation.
But Mr. Bates just smiled, "I am just worried about you. You just recovered from the bad wound. If nobody stays with you to protect you, no one could guarantee your safety. Besides, these two little kids would only make you more tired."
"You donāt need to worry about me, Mr. Bates. Iāve recovered totally. And Artherās men were all excellent boxers. They would protect us."
Eddie replied.
Mr. Bateās face changed.
Eddie was clever. She already perceived something wrong here.
It was Stuartās order. He wanted to keep something from her.
For the young masterās happiness, Mr. Bates had no choice but to take tough action.
"Send young Mrs. Yates and these two kids back to their house."
"Mr. Bates, are you imprisoning me" Eddie squinted.
"Sorry, but I really worry about you. I couldnāt let you go out," Mr. Bates said politely,
Then, two maids came in front of Eddie, "Mrs. Yates, please."
Eddie knew she couldnāt go out today. If she insisted, there would be more servants coming out to stop her.
She took a glimpse at Mr. Bates and finally turned back, without leaving a word.
When they walked into the room, Cecil started talking, "He must hide something from us."
Arther rolled eyes,
Anyone knew he hid something from usāyou idiot.
Eddie looked towards Arther, "Arther, I need your help. Could you give me a hand?"
"You want me to investigate this." Arther was smart. He got Eddieās plan immediately.
"Yes, about A city, especially Gregās."
Eddie worried that Stuart would get with Gregās.
"I want my slavery to beg me," Arther said.
"Okay. Cecil, beg him!" Eddie padded on Cecilās ass and ordered.
Cecil stared at Eddie ferociously and then forced a smile at Arther, "Please, help Eddie, for what Iāve done for you these days."
"Not enough," Arther said casually.
"Well," Cecil wiped the sweat on his forehead and forced the most flattering smile," Please, my lord, I would do everything you want me to do. Okay?"
"Sign a note."
"Why so serious?" Cecil sweated more.
Holy Crap! Holly Crap!
He was just joking.
Arther took a piece of paper out and looked at him. He saw Cecilās hesitation.
"What? Are you kidding me? Do you want to lie to me again? Donāt you dare to lie to me,"
Again...
Cecil was frightened. He just told a little lie to get a little snack from Arther. It has been a long time, but Arther never forgot it,
If he still lied to him, he would lose Artherās trust totally.
Cecil didnāt want to lose Artherās trust.
So he decided to sign the note.
He must persuade Arther to trust him again.
Cecil guaranteed to the cold boy several inches taller than him, "No, I wonāt lie to you again. I am willing to sign the note. I swear I wouldnāt lie to you again. Otherwise, god would take all my snacks away."
This is the most serious punishment for a little boy.
Listening to this little boyās words, Arther was a little shocked.
It took quite a while to calm himself down. But the face remained the same.
He couldnāt make a face because the nerve of his face was not sensitive. Only his family knew about this.
No one likes him. He felt inferior since he started to know things.
Expect for Cecil. He was the only one that was willing to stay with him.
"You seemed not like that hamburger. Allow me to help you:
This was the first sentence Cecil said to him.
Though he soon realized Cecil approached him just for food, he still thought he was so cute,
But he soon knew Cecil was a boy.
Holy crap.
This was the reason Arther slaved Cecil. He hurt his feeling deeply,
"I would give you the answer in less than 15 minutes."
Then, he turned around and left.
Soon, he came back.
"Nothing happened to Gregās. Their daughter had been put in jail for attempted murder. But youāve known about this."
"Anything else?" Eddie asked, confusedly.
If it was not Gregās, what was it?
"Yes," Arther answered seriously, "L.N Group started purchasing a large percentage of Hawk Real Estateās stocks. As an enterpriseās manager, heās doing the wrong thing. I believe he does this for you."
"Besides, Hawk Real Estate was confronted with the danger of bankruptcy."
Eddie was shocked by the last sentence.
Bankruptcy?
What do you mean?
"Wait. Impossible. How? Why?"
