Chapter 520: I Was Drugged

The doctor sounded shocked on the other side and couldn’t believe what Edie had asked her.

"Doctor," Edie kept asking.

"Yes, but you should be careful. You can try some specific gestures. I would send you photos. Make sure to be gentle when you are going to have sex with your husband,"

"Are you sure you wanna look at it? I mean, it’s too dirty," the doctor said.

It took a few seconds for Edie to answer, "Yeah. Okay, thank you very much just send it,"

Soon, the doctor sent her some photos.

Dirty, indeed. She felt embarrassed watching several photos sent by her doctor.

Then, she put the mobile phone in the pocket and walked to the reception desk, "Do....do you...do you have aphrodisiac incense?" She stutters as she blurted out this stupid idea.

"Sorry, madam. We don’t sell that kind of thing." the receptionist looked frightened while looking at the beautiful woman standing next to her.

Edie didn’t realize the meaning of her words until this moment.

She got that idea because Stuart and her been drugged by her husband’s mother during their first time.

If they were sober at that moment, Stuart wouldn’t be able to find the feeling. They would not end up together as a couple.

Looking at the strange face of the receptionist’s, Edie finally gave up.

Stuart looked towards the bed.

That night, he was drugged. The harder the woman struggled, the more eager he wanted to have her.

It was because of the drug when they met each other for the first time.

But after that, it was his love for her. He honestly loves his wife.

He wished to live with her forever. He wanted to see her every morning and prepared breakfast for her. He wanted to see her smile every day. That was what he wanted.

But he couldn’t tell her, at least at this moment.

He knew what Edie was expecting. But the more she expected, the more disappointed she would be.

Stuart’s eyes turned dark.

He turned around and left without leaving a word.,

"Wait. Where are you going?"

She walked out of the room. Stuart was waiting for the elevator. She immediately walked towards him, "if you don’t like here, we can go to another place."

He said, in a determined and cold voice,

The smile froze on her face. Edie looked at him, confusedly.

"Enough for today,"

The elevator door opened. Stuart walked in.

Stuart was still standing outside, watching the door closing.

She was not brave enough to get in with him.

She was really embarrassed at the moment.

The man in the elevator crushed on the elevator wall fiercely.

He wanted to kill himself at the moment.

Edie went back to the room alone. It was the room for their first sex. Though it sounded ridiculous, it was true.

She sat on the bed, rubbing her belly gently, "Babe, don’t worry. Mommy wouldn’t give up. I would restore your dad’s memory. Well-behave is okay. You are my drive force. I promise to you I wouldn’t drawback this time."

She already missed Donald. Now she didn’t want to miss Stuart.

She closed her eyes slowly. The sunlight spreads on her face, warming her heart.

After she left, Stuart walked out slowly from the corner where he hid.

When Edie arrived at home, Ivan kept asking questions. All Edie did was shake his head.

Then, she walked into her room. All her things were still in the bedroom. Stuart didn’t ask servants to throw them away.

She was not frustrated.

She still had enough time to get her husband back.

She already checked with Mr. Bates. Stuart hasn’t done anything dirty with Hicks. She took a deep relief.

Then, her phone rang. It was Betty.

"How’s everything going?"

"Good. "She said lightly.

"Edie. You don’t have to hide anything from me. I am your mother-in-law, like your mother."

Hearing this, Edie felt warm in his heart.

She hesitated for a moment and said, "thank you.... mom..."

Her voice was trembling. Betty also trembled on the other side. She burst into tears.
