To ensure her safety, he should do this, though he would miss her every day and night.
He never thought he would be stuck by a woman. It was not like him,
Before meeting her, he was cold, brutal, and determined. He never hid anything. He never hesitated for anyone. He never sacrifices anything in return.
He frightened everyone. And everyone knew how he was as a leader of L.N Group.
He was more than a talented businessman. He was the ruler. He was powerful. He was a well-known noble prince.
But, now, he gave up everything for a woman. He chose to live a peaceful life with the woman he loved most. He canāt take the risk to put Edieās life in danger.
He looked more like a man now...
William didnāt know how to describe his thought now. Stuart was his rival. He hoped he could be a strong rival forever. Stuart was the driving force for him to become better and better. And Stuart is the toughest opponent he had.
But now William suddenly felt jealous of him. He wanted to be like Stuart, who possesses strong character and endurance to every lifeās challenge.
If he could, he also wanted to live a peaceful life and settled into a happy family.
He sighed lightly. He knew it was difficult for Stuart to make the decision, "Call me later."
"No. You can send her away now." Stuart said determinedly.
As long as you can have ensured her safety.
All he wanted was, she could live a peaceful life. She could fall in love with another man, as long as she was safe.
"Are you sure? Sheās the woman you love the most."
"William, what if we lost this time?" His voice was filled with sadness and pain.
"Death. He killed your father. Now he could kill you." William answered him quickly.
Stuart made a cold smile.
"We might die. Edie couldnāt stay with me in this situation. She could find another man and marry him. I donāt want her to do anything dangerous for me. She should leave me. She suffered a lot since, at a young age, I canāt bear to see her suffer again because of me,"
He held her small hands tightly and looked at her. There was no one else around. He could finally show his deep love for her.
Edie was so pretty and fragile. He didnāt want her to be thrown in any danger. He didnāt want her to be involved in anything dirty.
He could handle everything, as long as she could live a happy life,
William fell into silence.
After quite a while, he took a deep breath and said, "Youāve changed. You were not the man many years ago. Maybe I should call your name, Stuart."
"William, please send her away. The sooner, the better."
"Okay. You wonāt see her face tomorrow."
Then William hangs down the phone.
Stuart closed his eyes slowly...
This strong man was sobbing.
When they arrived at the flat, Stuart held Edie into the house. Hicks already fell asleep.
Stuart held his wife into their own room.
Then he placed her on the bed, "Edie, time to take a shower."
She opened her eyes, looking at the gentleman in front of her.
Was she dreaming?
Suddenly...
She burst into tears.
She closed her eyes and surrounded the manās waist with her two arms.
"Stuart, is it my dream? Youāve been so mean to me for a long time."
"Yes. It is your dream."
Stuart couldnāt tell her the truth.
Even though Edie felt satisfactory.
"Donāt leave me, please. I want you. I miss you every second. Stuart... when can you come back to me? I am so worried about you now. I thought you might forget me forever. I might lose you forever."
"Idiot. I wonāt forget you. I would recover. But ...this is not the right time."
"Really?"
Edieās eyes were full of tears. She looked at her confusingly.
Though she was still asleep, she looked happy.
Stuart nodded. Then he kissed her on the forehead.
Kiss...
He kissed her eyelash, nose, and lips.
It was just a dream. But Edie couldnāt help herself crying.
She wished she could be in the dream forever.
She surrounded his neck and kissed him back.
Finally, both of them were naked.
Stuart was really gentle tonight.
The dream was, too, authentic. She feels something is wrong. But she couldnāt tell the difference between reality and dream.
The night .... was so long.
Next morning.
A truck for transporting fresh vegetables and raw meat arrived at the garden secretly.
Edie was placed in the trunk.
The driver, disguised by William, asked the man in front of him, "time to leave her. What do you want to tell me?"
Stuartās heart was mixed with too many emotions. But finally, he just said, "take good care of her."
He still sounded indifferent and calm. Only those who were familiar with him knew his sorrow.
"Donāt worry. Iāve found the best hypnotist in France. She would forget you temporarily. You donāt have to worry about her."
"Okay," he took a last look at Edie and closed the trunk.
"Anything else?" William was a little surprised. He thought he might say a lot. But he didnāt.
Stuart shook his head lightly and left without leaving words.
The best present he could give Edie was the victory, rather than useless words.
Stuart returned back to the villa and watched the truck disappear in his sight on the balcony.
Then, Hicks walked into his room, "so strange. I feel so sleepy recently. I always fall asleep immediately when I lay on the bed."
She wanted to wait for Stuart last night, so she drank a lot of coffee. After all, Edie didnāt come back last night. She was so worried that she would do something to Stuart.
But she fell asleep quickly.
"What are you looking at?" she threw an eye on the trunk and asked.
"Nothing," Stuart turned around and looked at her, "I want to get married after I divorce her. What do you want me to offer?"
