When she said these words, Avan walked into the room and placed a fruit plate on the bed stand. Then he walked asides in silence, like a dumb dog.
Laty threw an eye on him. She was so satisfied with the result of her teaching. Avan looked so nice to her now.
Edie hit Latyās brain slightly hopelessly, "Avan is our guest. Show some respect, babe."
But Laty didnāt know anything about respect. She didnāt care whether Avan was the heir of Louis or not.
"Mom, it is not the right time to talk about me. Donāt you want Dad to regret what heās done to you? Donāt you want him to go through what youāve been through?"
"It might be too brutal for him..."

"Yes. Mom has no good appetite now. She wants to take a nap. She doesnāt want us to bother her. She might be able to eat more tonight."
"Great. I need to buy more ingredients later. What does she want to eat?"
"She wants something delicate."
"Okay. I would buy some."
Stuart didnāt get confused at all. He never expected that his own daughter would lie to him at this moment.
A was close to Lionel. It took Edie an hour to arrive.
When Ann Lara took her here to get rid of her family, they lived here for a period. Therefore, Edie was quite familiar with the city, even though sheās been away from this city for several years.
Edie returned back to the room she lived in. Everything remained the same. She didnāt expect that the landlord still kept stuff in two boxes.
Because the house was empty now, Edie decided to live in the city rather than the hotel.
The house had been rented out so many times. But the decoration insides the room remained the same. She could still see those pictures she put on the wall, a bed, a desk, and a simple closet.
She took her box out of the landlordās house. Inside the box, she found lots of pictures of her at the age of ten. She looked like a little carrot in the pictures. She looked angry. She didnāt like laughing or smile.
Looking at those pictures, she couldnāt help herself laughing out.
It has been so many years. Time passed by so quickly. Now sheās gotten married and given birth to a baby. Now she became a mother.
Would her mother take relief when she saw her daughter grow up?

When she rented this house, her landlord just got married. Now, their child went to college.
At noon, when Edie enjoyed lunch with her landlord, her landlord immediately recognized her. After all, they saw Edie on television every day. But they wouldnāt tell anyone about this.
Edieās landlord was a businessman. He had an art supplies shop. Most students in the school nearby came to his shop to buy what they needed.

"I donāt need to eat them all. I buy these for you. These are so delicious. Try it at least." the teacher smiled shyly.
Edie felt a little embarrassed. She nodded politely and smiled.
Then she turned around to take pigment. Then she heard the sound of footsteps at the door. She thought it might be other guests. So she turned around.
It was a man in silver gray. He stood and turned his back to the sunlight. Edie couldnāt see his face, though, she was so familiar with the figure.
He held a bunch of pink rose in arms, gorgeous and heart-breaking roses.
Seeing this, Edie frowned slightly. She couldnāt understand why he showed up all of a sudden. He didnāt do anything when he knew she left A. what the hell was he doing here?
She didnāt greet Stuart. She took the pigment to Joshua and said, "Here you are. Pigment."
"Well... thank you. Donāt forget to try my breakfast."
Hearing these words, Edie showed a bright smile and nodded gently, "I would. Donāt worry."
This was the brightest smile on Edieās face heās ever seen these days.
The teacher felt so happy.
He was so shy that he flushed immediately when seeing that smile on Edieās face.
