Scarlet has been explained to them many times, but no one listened to her. The rumors kept spreading every corner.
Finally, Scarlet didnāt want to explain anymore. She told Dana that she refused, but Dana didnāt stop. She was really annoyed by his insistence.
Every time she went off her work, she felt a headache because Dana was waiting for her downstairs.
She had to pass through the door to get her car. Therefore, she could not avoid seeing him.

The waiter served them two glasses of lemon juice.

Kris questioned her.
"I donāt know what you are talking about. Itās been a long time since weāve broken up. You might pick up the wrong woman."
"Wrong?" Kris sneered and said, "Heās disappeared for half of a year. Happy? You have such a good man that kept chasing after you every day without giving up. Now you have such a good man. Youāve forgotten him, right?"
Hearing these words, Scarlet frowned, "You are nothing more than his girlfriend. What I would do is none of your business, donāt you think so?"
"Do you think I want to ask about this? I ask you because I finally realize my boyfriend never forgets you."
"What?" hearing this, Scarlet was shocked.
Kris held her forehead and said in a disappointed voice, "Do you know..."
She stopped in the middle.
Scarlet clenched her teeth and said, "Weāve broken up. I donāt care anything about him."

Scarlet suddenly reminded the man she saw at the bus station.

"When did he come here? Why didnāt he tell me?"

She lowered her eyes and fell into silence. She didnāt know how to refute Kris.
"So...what do you want today?"
"I want to ask you to do one thing."
"What?"
"If he comes to you, please refuse him. Because heās promised her parents that he would get married to me if you refused him again. If you could not accept his love, please help him to move on. He has the right to get happiness."
"..." hearing these words, Scarlet fell into silence for a while. Then she nodded slowly, "Okay. I would refuse him again."
