Chapter 1223: Forced back

A simple sentence and the officials around were shocked. The head of personnel said, “Is The Executor joking with us? Dragonslayer Fortress is said to have over half of Nine Heavens City’s troops, how can they fall in less than three days. That is impossible.”

I laughed, “I just returned from Dragonslayer Fortress not long ago, naturally I know better than you.”

I said solemnly, “Your Majesty, Changfeng Army General Baili Ning has died in battle.”
