Dylan Quinnâs reply eased the worries of Silas Young and his men.
"Letâs get started, then. We need to hurry back."
Silas Young said to the three Space Superpower Users behind him.
This time, all of their weapons and supplies were in the three Superpower Usersâ spaces.
These three Space Superpower Users were the elites of the main family.
Their spaces were larger than othersâ, and they could carry more.
Dylan Quinn nodded and had the supply trucks driven over.
The three Space Superpower Users boarded the trucks and began unloading the supplies from their spaces.
Meanwhile, Silas Young and his men were responsible for confirming the quantities.
This was to prevent any of the Space Superpower Users from secretly holding anything back.
However, the three Space Superpower Users seemed accustomed to it and said nothing.
"So many weapons... and all this ammunition..."
Nina Jacobs glanced over and was completely stunned.
âJust what is the deal with this "main family"? They seem incredibly powerful.â
After Silas Young and his men finished the delivery, they immediately boarded a helicopter and left.
Now, only Dylan Quinnâs group remained on the field.
"Mr. Quinn..."
"But... none of us called for reinforcements."
Gideon Ulrich couldnât help but ask from the side.
For some reason, their journey had been exceptionally difficult. It was as if theyâd kicked a zombie hornetâs nest, with the undead appearing one after another.
Of the group that set out, fewer than ten remained.
No wonder the main family was hesitant to entrust them with the weapons handover...
"Donât ask stupid questions if you donât understand."
"As long as Iâm here, we donât need reinforcements."
Dylan Quinn was clearly in a foul mood.
They had lost a lot of people in yesterdayâs battle.
What was worse, they had barely managed to find an opening and escape the zombie horde.
Only to find the path behind them blocked.
âThe moment he remembered that woman was behind it all, he felt an overwhelming urge to tear her limb from limb.â
"Once we get back to The Alliance,"
"the next step is to find her."
"Leave that task to me."
Gideon Ulrich said.
"Alright. Weâll rest here."
"We leave in half an hour."
Dylan Quinn walked toward the old restrooms on the golf course.
He took out a confidential letter from his pocket.
One of the men from the delivery crew had slipped it to him, unseen by anyone else.
His brow furrowed as he read the words in the letter.
Inside the envelope was also a custom-made metal insignia.
After tucking the insignia into his breast pocket, he tore the letter to shreds.
âFor some reason, he kept feeling like a pair of eyes had been on him for a while now.â
But when he looked around, he found nothing.
âI must be overthinking it.â
Just as their vehicles were preparing to exit the golf course, they spotted a figure standing outside the main gate.
"Her?"
Dylan Quinn immediately recognized Nina Jacobs.
Seeing Dylan Quinn get out, the others quickly followed suit.
"Iâm surprised you have the guts to show your face."
Dylan Quinn narrowed his eyes, staring at Nina Jacobs.
âShe actually came alone.â
"Whether I show up or not,"
"you wouldâve found me sooner or later, wouldnât you?"
Nina Jacobs sneered.
"So youâve come to walk right into my trap?"
"I admire your courage."
Dylan Quinn said.
"Weâll see whoâs walking into a trap in a minute."
Nina Jacobs advanced step by step, saying,
"This is between me and Dylan Quinn."
"Anyone who doesnât want to die still has a chance to leave."
She didnât enjoy wanton slaughter, but it was clear the men before her werenât about to give her the chance to be merciful.
"Quinn, can we have a turn with this little bitch later?"
one of the men asked bluntly.
"Of course. Have your fun."
"Each of you can have a turn."
"Then bring her back for the rest of the boys to get a taste."
Dylan Quinn grinned, trying to provoke Nina Jacobs.
However, Nina Jacobs didnât fly into a humiliated rage.
With a wave of her hand, several brown-furred rats appeared on the ground before her.
"Whoâs playing with whom..."
"...is still up in the air."
Before anyone could react, the rats burst into flames and lunged at the men behind Dylan Quinn!
"What are these things? AHH!!"
"These Fire Rats bite!"
"How can she Control rats?!"
"Quinn, help!"
They had no chance to fight back. Even when someone managed to strike one of the flaming Fire Rats, it didnât harm Nina Jacobs in the slightest.
One Fire Rat shot directly toward the man who had made the crude remark.
"AHH!"
The man scrambled away in terror, but the Fire Rat still managed to sink its sharp fangs into him.
Flesh was torn away.
The wound instantly turned a necrotic black.
"Itâs... this is... a Zombie Rat!! AHH!!"
Terror flashed in the manâs eyes.
âThis woman can actually make Zombie Rats obey her command!!â
"Zombie Rats?"
It finally dawned on Dylan Quinn. He immediately conjured Stone Spikes and launched them at the flaming Zombie Rats.
By this point, one of the men had already turned into a zombie.
Nina Jacobs recalled the remaining Fire Rats.
Watching the Fire Rats scamper to Nina Jacobsâs side and vanish, Dylan Quinn couldnât help but ask,
"What exactly is your Superpower?!"
âWhy can she Control Zombie Rats?â
"Iâm under no obligation to answer you."
Nina Jacobs raised her hand, and a dozen jets of flame instantly struck down the men who were trying to flee.
"A Fire Element Superpower?"
"Or are you a Dual Element Superpower User?"
Dylan Quinn said, placing his hands behind his back.
When he saw Nina Jacobs take a step forward, a triumphant smile appeared on his face.
âShe fell for it!â
However, Nina Jacobsâs next move made his smile freeze on his face.
A curtain of fire materialized behind Nina Jacobs, blocking the sharp Stone Spike aimed at the back of her head.
"How is that possible?!"
âWhen fighting an Earth Element, a Fire Elementâs greatest weakness is defense.â
âBut that curtain of fire actually blocked his Stone Spike?!â
"All the extras have been dealt with."
A Fire Whip materialized in Nina Jacobsâs hand.
The Fire Whip lashed out at Dylan Quinn with the speed of lightning, forcing him to dodge hastily.
"Are you trying to get revenge for Wayne Warner?"
"Itâs a shame heâs already dead."
Dylan Quinn controlled the surrounding rocks, sending them all hurtling toward Nina Jacobs.
"Iâm afraid Iâll have to disappoint you."
"Why do you think the incineration plant exploded?"
As soon as Nina Jacobs finished speaking, the color drained from Dylan Quinnâs face.
"How could you know about last night?!"
âCould she have been the one who did it?â
âThatâs impossible!â
"You wanted to know about Quinn Manor, didnât you?"
Nina Jacobs dodged the volley of rocks.
The Fire Whip shattered the Stone Shield in front of Dylan Quinn, revealing his astonished face.
"So you do know!"
The Fire Whip seared a mark across Dylan Quinnâs chest, and the pain twisted his face into a grimace.
"Canât handle a little pain like that?"
Another lash, and Dylan Quinn cried out in pain.
He struggled to conjure several Stone Spikes, but they were all shattered by the Fire Whip.
"Iâm going to repay you for everything you did to him."
The Fire Whip wrapped around Dylan Quinn as he tried to flee, its flames searing him relentlessly.
"The Allianceâs reinforcements will be here any minute."
"Youâd better let me go, AHH!!"
Dylan Quinn was drenched in a cold sweat from the pain.
But Nina Jacobs didnât react at all.
Dylan Quinn thought he was hallucinating.
Because he had just seen Nina Jacobs conjure several Stone Spikes?!
âWhat in the world is her Superpower?!â
Pain and shock assaulted him at once.
Stone Spikes pierced his body one after another.
All of them carefully avoided any vital spots.
"The enforcers at Quinn Manor, and the whole setup..."
"That was all your work, wasnât it?"
Nina Jacobs asked, her words deliberate,
"You were the one who enabled Seth Quinnâs atrocities, werenât you?"
