She could now be completely certain that as her Gold Ability advanced to the Initial Stage, her Space Ability had improved along with it.
Xie Ning quickly switched her view back to the villa area to take a closer look.
With just one look, her heart started to pound wildly.
The connecting glass door between the living room and dining room was now open. She could actually see the furniture and everything else in the dining room.
The flower-shaped chandelier was on, its soft light falling on the round rosewood table and matching chairs.
The small lamp on the sideboard was lit.
All sorts of alcoholic beverages were on the wine rack in the display cabinet.
On the small bar by the stairs, a coffee machine and tea set sat quietly, everything in its place.
But when her gaze tried to follow the corner staircase upward, it was blocked.
âSo, does this mean that as my Space Ability advances again in the future, other areas of our family villa will also open up? Like the upstairs bedrooms and study, or the kitchen and bathrooms, or even the courtyard and lawn outside?â
âCould it be just as Iâm thinking??â
Xie Ning was so overwhelmed with emotion for a moment that she didnât know how to tell her mom.
"Ningning?" Song Youâai stared nervously at her silent, dazed daughter. "Wh-what is it?"
Xie Ning snapped out of it and did her best to calm her turbulent emotions. "I-I was just a little too surprised, thatâs all. Iâm fine."
She had thought her little Space would never upgrade or expand; after all, in her past life, it had been completely static, as if it were welded shut.
Then, she realized another very important issue.
The lights!
Her short-circuited brain finally got back on track.
The lights in the dining room were actually on!
She hadnât noticed if the lights in the villaâs living room were on before. It was only seeing the colorful lights on the display cabinet that made her suddenly realize.
âMy villa actually has electricity?â
âThis is too amazing!â
Xie Ning tried turning off the lights in the dining room, and the room went dark.
Then Xie Ning experimented further and discovered something: she couldnât move items into the dining room when it was dark. She could only do so with the lights on.
âOh my god, this means I have another fifty-square-meter storage space in the form of a dining room.â
"I should be able to store a lot more now," Xie Ning said, grasping her motherâs hand, her big eyes sparkling.
"My daughter is amazing." Song Youâai was also incredibly excited, squeezing her daughterâs hand and praising her with a happy laugh.
The two of them quickly ran ahead a bit, putting some distance between themselves and the others.
Only then did Xie Ning begin loading boxes of instant noodles into her small Space.
âBut I canât call it a small Space anymore. Itâs not small at all now. I should give it a new name... Iâll call it an Independent Space.â
The one thing an instant noodle factory wasnât short on was raw materials like beef, mutton, pork, vegetables, flour, palm oil, and seasonings.
Xie Ning pulled her mother to the raw materials area and loaded about two hundred boxes of supplies, which only filled up a third of her Space.
Her Independent Space had gotten taller!
Song Youâai followed beside Xie Ning, beaming, acting as a lookout while she said, "Thereâs still a lot of instant noodle stock over there. Wouldnât it be a waste not to take it?"
"Yeah, letâs grab more." Her Independent Space was in stasis; food stored inside wouldnât spoil at all.
Left in the warehouse, it would all be useless in a year or two, which would be a real shame.
"Our Ningning is so capable," Song Youâai said, poking her head out from behind a shelf. She quickly added, "Annie and the others are coming, Ningning."
Xie Ning finished storing the last few boxes of instant noodles at her feet and stopped.
Annie and her group were each carrying three boxes of instant noodles, panting heavily as they walked.
