“Chewed on?” Old Hei felt even more disgusted. Was Lin Yi saying that this was an act of cannibalism?

“Eaten by his companion?” James felt disgusted, as well. Could it be a cannibalistic tribe before the robbers came? Killing after infighting, and even eating him?

“I don’t know.” Lin Yi shook his head. “Might be people, might not be. Anyway, just be more careful.”

“Even if it’s been eaten, what’s the big deal?” Elder Yu said once he saw that there wasn’t any other danger. “Probably because there wasn’t any food in here, and they got into a fight for food- one of them got killed and got split to be eaten between his companions after the infighting.”

“Haha…” Lin Yi didn’t say anything else but felt that this guy sure had a big imagination. Did he think about stuff like that all the time other than practitioning?

Everyone kept walking forward, and the jade’s signal still hadn’t disappeared, but it didn’t get stronger, either. This meant that the danger was in front but still didn’t come out yet.

Looking at LIn Yi’s serious and alert look, Elder Yu was looking down on him, especially after nothing came out after so long. Old Hei and James were getting more relaxed, as well.

“What now?” Elder Yu asked after seeing him stop.

“Another one.” Lin Yi said.

“What?” Elder Yu paused.

“Another pile… of bones!” Xiaoke’s sharp eyes noticed it as well.

“They ate another one?” Elder Yu sighed, his voice solemn.

“Yes, another one was eaten.” Lin Yi didn’t’ say no, but his meaning was different from Elder Yu. He wasn’t talking about the companions eating their companions.

Lin Yi ignored everyone else and walked over, looking at the pile of bones briefly. It was similar to the old pile and had been gnawed on by something, but it probably wasn’t by a man. No people would come to a tomb without preparing enough food, and even if they didn’t, they could go back and get it. It wasn’t a hard path, and there wasn’t any danger this entire road. Why eat humans?

The most important part was that the teeth marks don’t look like they came from a human.

This time he didn’t stop too long and started walking forward until another pile of bones appeared after walking a while.

“They ate another one?” Even Elder Yu was getting suspicious. Just how many people were getting eaten? Even if it was infighting, they couldn’t kill this many in such as short time?

A bad feeling rose in Lin Yi’s heart- this tomb seemed to have some living thing in here, especially after seeing so many piles of bones.

“What’s wrong now? Another pile?” Elder Yu said unconsciously.

“There seems to be danger.” Lin Yi said.

“Danger?” Elder Yu paused, and Old Hei and James did the same.

Lingshan and Yutian listened to Lin Yi completely- the two got closer to Lin Yi after he spoke the words. Sticking together was safer.

“How come I can’t feel it?” Elder Yu didn’t know where this was coming from- Lin Yi was standing in an open space; it was just a path. There shouldn’t be any trouble here!

In ancient times, there weren’t any calculators or machinery, and this open space wasn’t something where you could set a trap. People walking this wide-open path wouldn’t just suddenly step on a trap!

Lin Yi kept saying there was danger here and danger there, and yet no danger appeared- it was just some bones, and nothing else. This made them a lot more relaxed.
