The Storage Ring now seemed to have merged with Ye Tian's finger. An ordinary person wouldn't be able to tell there was anything on it at all.
"How do I even use this Storage Ring? I can't believe I forgot to ask them back then!" Ye Tian said, a little frustrated. He felt like he'd entered a Treasure Mountain only to come back empty-handed.
"You're really as dumb as they come. To use a Storage Ring, you need to use your Divine Sense. Once you've injected your Divine Sense into the ring, you just use it to bring out whatever you want. It's the same for putting things in." The voice of the Divine Dragon Remnant Soul echoed in his mind.
"Thank you, Senior. I'll give it a try!" Ye Tian didn't say anything more, immediately calming his mind and mobilizing his Divine Sense.
The moment his Divine Sense touched the Storage Ring, an image of its contents flooded his mind. The scene was so clear it was as if he had walked right inside.
Ye Tian saw that there were many Spirit Stones inside. The largest were even bigger than a bowl, and they came in different colors, mostly red and purple, all radiating powerful Energy.
'Shen Li Palace is so wealthy! They just casually threw together a Storage Ring for me, and it's already filled with so many Spirit Stones. I've really hit the jackpot this time.'
Ye Tian decided to take out a Spirit Stone. With a flicker of his will, he used his Divine Sense to grab one of the purple Spirit Stones, but found he couldn't move it at all. Instead, a sharp pain shot through his chest, leaving him bewildered.
"Those are Top Grade Spirit Stones, and they're all protected by a Barrier," the Divine Dragon Remnant Soul's voice explained once more. "If you want to use them, you'll have to break the Barrier first. But with your current Power Level, that's impossible. Don't even think about touching them, or you'll injure your Heart Vein."
Ye Tian felt the urge to curse. 'This is just cruel! What's the point of having a Storage Ring if I can see all this treasure but can't get to it? Is this some kind of sick joke?'
"This Storage Ring has a vast amount of space, and there are some items you can take out," the Divine Dragon Remnant Soul said. "As your Power Level increases, you'll be able to retrieve more and more. This ring likely holds over half the wealth of Shen Li Palace. You must guard it well."
A look of shock and bewilderment crossed Ye Tian's face. 'Half the wealth of Shen Li Palace... I suddenly own all this?' He felt an immense pressure weighing down on him.
He immediately began exploring the Storage Ring with his Divine Sense again. He found that there were also many Lower Grade and Middle Grade Spirit Stones inside. He could currently retrieve the Lower Grade Spirit Stones, but taking out the Middle Grade Spirit Stones was a bit of a struggle, requiring several attempts to bring out a single one.
Ye Tian then used his Divine Sense to put the Lower Grade and Middle Grade Spirit Stones back into the Storage Ring, repeating the process several times before he stopped.
He had now basically mastered how to retrieve items from and store them in the Storage Ring, which he considered a good accomplishment.
The space inside the Storage Ring was vast; Ye Tian discovered it stretched for at least a few miles. 'Just imagine how much you could fit in a space this large! The person who forged this Storage Ring was incredible.'
As Ye Tian's Divine Sense slowly roamed through the Storage Ring, after a while, he discovered a Jade Scroll and two yellowed Martial Arts Manuals, which made his heart race with excitement.
He clearly remembered Zhang Fengyu mentioning that the Storage Ring contained some Martial Skills suited for him and a message from the Palace Master Shen Li. This had to be it.
With a flicker of his will, Ye Tian expertly retrieved the two Martial Arts Manuals and the Jade Scroll from the Storage Ring. He was delighted by how easy it was this time.
He quickly withdrew his Divine Sense from the Storage Ring, feeling a bit weary. Spending too much time inside consumed a great deal of his Divine Sense.
Ye Tian looked at the Jade Scroll, then at the two Martial Arts Manuals. He ultimately decided to check the Jade Scroll's contents first. Although this was his first time encountering a Jade Scroll, he knew a little about how they were used.
Wealthy and powerful individuals often liked to leave their messages on Jade Scrolls. These scrolls had a unique function: by infusing them with Spiritual Power, one could record their voice, which was much more convenient than writing.
With a flicker of his will, Ye Tian immediately infused a stream of Dragon Spiritual Power into the Jade Scroll. The scroll instantly flashed with a seven-colored light.
An ordinary Jade Scroll would only emit a single color of light, but the one in Ye Tian's hand glowed with seven. This meant it was of the highest possible quality and could be used over and over again.
A few breaths later, the light from the Jade Scroll faded, and a large image appeared from it. The image was a bit hazy, but the scene within was still clear enough to make out.
It depicted a middle-aged man standing among flowers and plants. He looked benevolent and had an ethereal bearing, like an immortal who didn't partake of the mortal world's vulgarities.
"You've finally appeared! By the time you see this image, I may have already perished within the Secret Realm. Since you have received the inheritance of Shen Li Palace, I hope you can bring it to new heights of glory.
"Shen Li Palace is a super Sect, ranked among the top ten within the Three Holy Lands. For reasons of my own, the palace has slowly begun to decline. The heavy burden of reviving Shen Li Palace now falls upon you.
"I know you have many questions, like why it had to be you. It's because you possess the War Dragon Bloodline. Only someone with the War Dragon Bloodline can wield the Black Glaze Sword. Needless to say, you must have already obtained the Black Glaze Sword, or Elder Zhang wouldn't have given you the Storage Ring.

'I suppose I'll have to ask the War Dragon about some of these things,' he thought. The Jade Scroll returned to its quiescent state. Ye Tian knew this kind of recording should be preserved for a long time, so he once again infused it with Dragon Spiritual Power.
The Jade Scroll once again flashed with its seven-colored light, replaying the exact same scene. The recording cut off at the exact same point. Ye Tian knew the Palace Master Shen Li must have been interrupted by something urgent. 'But what kind of emergency was it?' he wondered.
Suddenly, Ye Tian felt the immense weight of his new responsibilities. He even wondered if he was the reincarnation of a Divine Dragon. It felt as though all of this was inextricably linked to him.
Just as Ye Tian was about to examine the two Martial Arts Manuals, a knock came at the door, followed by the sound of Ye Feifei's voice…
